What an amazing experience here! I worked with Arianna who is so attentive to detail and brought the most beautiful gowns based on what I was leaning towards style wise. She provided me a good variety of options and made sure I felt like I had the dress. She found the most beautiful veils and straps to add as well based on the dress. I had nothing short of an incredible experience with BTBC. I came in with no expectations as this was a bit of a last minute find for me. I had not heard of this shop but after visiting three other shops with little to no enthusiasm about the selections I'd come across, I was excited for another option. I will admit that I was a bit intimidated becuse it was such a beautiful space and looked way too elegant for me. I came by myself and was nervous I would let find anything in my size or in my price range. I was lucky enough to be paired with the very talented and passionate stylist Arianna who actually texted me prior to the appointment to get an idea of what I was looking for. I made an appointment at Bride to Be because it was a recommendation from a friend of a friend who got their wedding dress there. It was supposed to be a chill, no pressure appointment but, Bride to Be exceeded all my expectations! The day before my appointment I was assigned a stylist and she text messaged me for my style preferences. When my friends and I got to the appointment we were greeted by the friendly staff and my stylist, Arianna, showed me all the dress she hand picked for me. I was so surprised because the other bridal salons I've been to had me pick my dresses, which left me totally overwhelmed and stressed. Arianna had me try on the dress that checked all my boxes first and during the dress reveal to my group I started sobbing because I had found my dress right then and there! To make sure that the first dress was the one, I tried on a few more dresses and dress styles I was always curious about seeing myself in. Okay, I want to preface this by saying I am a difficult bride. Don't be like me. I've tried on literally hundreds of dresses and am beyond picky. I don't like lace. I don't like illusion cuts. I don't want anything too simple but also I like simplicity. Just a nightmare. My bridal consultant Arianna was SO SWEET and didn't seem phased at all by my Goldilocks syndrome and put up with me for 3 different bridal appointments until I found the right dress. Not to mention, by my third appointment I only had 7 weeks until my wedding and was limited to buying off the floor. Like I said, don't be me guys. I have been to I think every bridal salon in the greater Sacramento area and it is hands down the place you want to go. Their salon is absolutely stunning! Everything is clean, attention to detail is impeccable, everything is styled to make you feel like you're in an elegant bridal dream. After I finally found the dress (it's GORGEOUS by the way and didn't find anything even close to it anywhere else) I went to alterations which I was DREADING. The dress was a little too small and covered in beading so I'm thinking what on earth are we going to do? No stress at all. Arianna and the alterations department had a plan and put all my worries at ease. After searching so extensively for the dress I felt like I was giving them my baby but I knew she was in good hands! This review is for Erin. Before going to my appointment, I was pretty doubtful that I would find my dress. Every since I was a little girl, falling in love with a super tulle/fluffy ball gown with sparkles, glitter and lace or beading. The whole Shabang! My bridal squad and I what went to Miosa Bride first, the lady there was pretty nice and sweet but towards the end, I started to seem really rushed. Going in, tried on a few ball gowns, none of them looked good at all. I had to resort to a more fitted ball gown look. Although they looked really great on my body, it wasn't the one and I felt like I was just settling. Again, going to Bride to be, super nice and pretty, opened and so much to choose from. Prior to my appointment, Erin emailed me personally to see what my inspo was. Super nice to see how much she cares and want me to find my dress. While my party were waiting for my stylist, Erin to come, she shortly comes with dress in hand already! The first 2/3 dresses I tried on, were a yes! We were off to a great start. My party wanted to see if Erin was able to pull any ball gown dresses for me to try and I'm glad we did. I found the one shortly after. It was literally something I found on Pinterest. I cried and my party cried. I was officially done after that. It was super fast and I enjoyed every moment with Erin. She really understood the assignment and listened to me and my girls. Staff here seemed to be chatting amongst themselves frequently and not tending to my sisters needs. This bridal shop is so beautiful once you walk in there. There are so many beautiful dresses all around. My consultant that helped me was Erin and she was amazing. She was very patience with me and understood what I like and wanted. My first time I didn't really know what kind of silhouette or what I wanted on my dress but all I knew was I wanted floral and sparkly. She pulled very amazing dresses. I ended up loving one so much so I couldn't stop smiling and Erin knew that was gonna be the one. But I still wanted to try more dresses to make sure it was the one. MUST READ: My Dress Deposit nightmare BEWARE OF BRIDE TO BE! *If you are a bride looking to purchase a dress from Bride to be Couture, I am BEGGING YOU READ MY HORROR STORY FIRST!* So, pull up a seat...STORY TIME: Have you ever heard of buyers remorse? Well, I'm a victim of that and I'm a victim of Bride to Be Couture. I should note that I am a returning customer of this establishment as I purchased a bridesmaids dress in 2019 for my best friends wedding (I plan to update that review as well) When I was a bridesmaid, I dreamed of returning to Bride To Be Couture to find the wedding dress of my dreams. Unfortunately, my dreams have quickly become a nightmare. Let's start with my appointment, as mentioned, I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD to this appointment and my consultant Erica was nice. Honestly, I was just happy to be there. At the time of the appointment, I expressed to Erica, my maid of honor on FaceTime, my mom, and mother in law all present at my appointment, that I was not sure about the fit of the final dress and mentioned it several times. Particularly, I hated the straps (see photos) and wanted to change them and a few other small things (hemming, etc). Erica assured me that alterations could make the changes I wanted...so, as someone who is a Bride and on cloud 9, I was caught up in the moment at this point, so when Erica asked me "Is this your dress? Are you saying yes to the dress?!" I did say YES!! -- This moment has become my biggest regret YET. LONG STORY SHORT: I did put a deposit down. I was whisked away to speak with Alex the finance person, following signing a contract and putting 75% down on the dress (BIG YIKES). I left with a receipt of my deposit. I had another appointment elsewhere the next day (less than 24 hours of signing this contract) and subsequently less than 24 hours later found the dress that is TRULY "the one". So, yes--I fell in love with another dress, which happens often with Brides. TIP: Be sure to only conduct business with Bridal shops who GENUINELY care about your happiness and making your wedding day memorable--not traumatic!   I called Bride to Be Couture less than 24 hours from my appointment to ensure the order had not yet been placed to cancel this dress and receive my deposit back. However, I was informed that this could not happen. During my first phone call, Alex, the person who watched us sign the contract told me the designer is in Australia and that the order has been placed and I'm left with paying full price and trying to resell through consignment and that the owner, Anthony, would call me the next day to discuss my options. I hung up crying in tears! TO SUMMARIZE: After multiple conversations, with Anthony the owner, I lost faith in this company. I strongly felt I could no longer trust this establishment especially after multiple changes to their story.   - Alex (mentioned earlier) told me there was absolutely no way to get the other dress I desired. - I was told the designer is in Australia when in actuality the designer is in Kansas ( I researched: https://www.kansascity.com/news/business/article113666224.html) google Essence of Australia/Stella York. - I was told the order was immediately placed with the designer and the dress was already being created less than 24 hours after my appointment and that my consultant would email me a shipping confirmation--NOTE: I have yet to receive ANY shipping order or confirmation of that immediately placed order. All I have as I type this review is a receipt of the deposit I paid at time of purchase. IT WAS ONLY AFTER PLEADING CONVERSATIONS, the owner, Anthony FINALLY did try to offer the dress I truly wanted and absorb the cost-- BUT this was ONLY after I explained I wanted to discontinue business with them AND after being told multiple times this was not a possibility. At this point, and honestly, how could I trust the owner with the most important dress I'll ever wear after it took me all day pleading my case just for him to offer a half-hearted attempt to save face??? No thanks. I feel these option presented result in me losing money and/or still being forced to do business with them. It's bad enough as a "Bride to be" that I'm stuck with navigating this global pandemic due to COVID-19 and the added stress of planning a wedding. I didn't ask for any of this. I'm simply a bride who had a change of heart! Instead, I was met with resistance and an unwavering sense of desperation to hold my deposit hostage. This situation has provided the absolute worst experience for a bride. Bride to Be Couture website states, "We believe in celebrating individuality, and feeling like the absolute best version of yourself on your wedding day, whatever that means to you." My wedding dress is an iconic staple for my wedding day and I want to feel my best. I deserve to feel my best. I'm so disappointed with how Bride to be Couture handled this entire situation. Tayler, my stylist, listened to my suggestions while also finding dresses I wouldn't have considered that I loved. The rest of the team also pitched in so the environment was supportive, fun, professional, and friendly. BTBC also went above and beyond by hosting a fashion show with proceeds in support of breast cancer. This was the first bridal dress appointment I didn't feel rushed. I recently came here with my bridesmaids to look at bridesmaid dresses, and they ended up buying their dresses here! We went with the Morilee brand, which had the exact plum color I was looking for, it was affordable, and there was a huge range of styles! We actually had trouble narrowing down which styles we liked best because there were so many that were beautiful and flattering. Not the issue I expected to encounter! :) I believe my bridesmaids paid about $160 for their Morilee bridesmaid dresses, so it's very comparable to other bridal shops. We stopped at David's Bridal and Elegant Designs Bridal too, but their plum/purple color didn't compare to the quality of Bride to Be Couture's. Ping helped us out during our bridal appointment and she was amazing. She really helped in making the experience so positive. She was extremely patient and friendly, and she never made us feel pressured to buy a dress. We all loved working with her. Something to note is that there are only two dressing rooms to try on bridesmaid dresses. With our 1-hour appointment and five bridesmaids, it made it difficult to try on everything within one hour. We came back for a second 1-hour appointment the next day, and that's when my bridesmaids were able to make a decision on which dress they wanted to buy. read more

The owner, Dina, is amazing. She went above and beyond for me, making me feel incredibly valued. My stylist was McKenzie, and she was so understanding and helpful throughout.
