    Catfish with mac n cheese

I really wanted to like this place because I had heard so many good things. First, when we walked in the place was empty and we were the only customers. They were playing very explicit music and then music didn't change for at least 10 minutes. Once seated it took a long time to get drinks and then food ordered. Second, the food tasted great. I think the portion size discrepancies is big though. My friend's fish and chips with Mac n cheese were at least double what my pasta was. They were both off the lunch menu. Also, my chicken was just small shreds of chicken and I could barely tell it was there. Overall, good food but service and atmosphere were lacking.

Came in with a large group of about 15 people and service was good. The food lacked seasoning and flavor OR some of it was too salty. Really disappointed in the red beans and rice, it tasted less like beans and more like a roux you used to cook a sauce. The veggies were good but given their main items are seafood and cajun options the veggies shouldn't be the main thing that impressed me

I've been supporting Brielles since they were in Spencer. I got fried catfish smothered in et toufe and it was good. My first plate was cold and undercooked but when they brought out the remake 30min later it was good. Not a fan of the jalapeño mac. Red beans and rice were good. Dirty rice was mid. The smothered pork chop in mushroom gravy/sauce could've been better. The sauce was amazing but the pork chop was bland. The fried green tomatoes were okay. Overall I still support this place cuz I want to see a BOB from Oklahoma win but there is some room for improvement.

Had the blackened catfish atchafalaya. Really good. Side of jalapeño Mac n cheese. Great. Really wanted to try the beignets but I was stuffed. In town for a few days, definitely will be back. Edit, came back. Got the Gator Poboy, fried Okra, beignets. Next day had the croissant French toast and a side of grits. Next day came back and had the shrimp and grits. Possibly my favorite thing here. Really want to try the bread pudding but the food is always too much and I have no room. I'm going to look for reasons to come back to OKC so I can eat here.

Okay first of all it was great service! Went today for my sister's birthday we had a big party, they served us with respect! The food was great, when I say everyone was satisfied with what they got! If they made a mistake they made it completely over! Even the cooked came out and talked you us! Hats off to the cooked! Thank you to all them!

I enjoyed everything about this Bistro from the time I walked in to the time I walked out! Would recommend this place and wish I lived here so I could be a regular Food: I had the Mardi Gras Omelet which was topped off with a Crab Queso. Let me just say, I need that queso to be sold in stores ! Delicious and creamy, but not to overpowering for the sausage, eggs, and peppers. The toast was nice and buttery! Also I had the beignets that had a nice croissant texture that I actually found to be better than others I have had! My friend enjoyed her French Toast which in her words were "FIRE". Plus the Brielle's Southern Breakfast with her choice of bacon, which was cooked to crispy perfection! Service: The waitress was awesome! She literally did not let our our drinks get lower than 3/4 full! She also gave us some great recommendations and brought everything out timely! Environment: It's a nice wide space, so you don't feel crowded or too close to other tables. They also have RnB playing softly in the background... which we all love!

I enjoy eating here. I did the lunch special. I like that it's smaller portions. I did the blackened fish and collard Greens. Your food comes out fresh and hot. The green was decent... a little salty and too much stalks for me but good.

Ok hear me out.... I am a foodie, a culinary student and amazing home cook... I am also a restaurant manager... I have Been in the industry for years. So I know I can be a tough critic.... first I want to say that this place a lot of potential... it's a great space for large parties, they even have a space that maybe or band or DJ could set up for. This place came recommended by some friends of mine that live here. Pictures on Yelp look good and reviews are high, so I definitely was excited to come. Unfortunately, the food missed the mark BIG TIME. So we ordered the Cajun honey lime wings to start... the wings were yummy but missing the Cajun flavor. Our server said "if we like spicy the we would enjoy them" unfortunately there was no spice at all. We also ordered the dirty gumbo to share as well. To be honest, it was more of a vegetable Stew. Although the flavor was good it had a lot of diced vegetables. When I think gumbo I think a dark brown broth with chicken and sausage or seafood. The dirty rice that came with it was crunchy, probably scraped from the bottom of the pan. For our entrees we ordered the blackened catfish with etouffee, my bf though it was good but not great. The meal came with 2 sides he ordered the greens and dirty rice. We sent the green back because similar to other reviews, it was extremely salty. We exchanged it for green beans. They had good flavor but still a bit on the salty side. I ordered the fried catfish with red beans and rice and jalapeño Mac. The jalapeño Mac was a big disappointment because I was expecting a lil heat and jalapeños and I got neither. The fish itself was Missing some seasoning. The red beans and rice were decent.... nothing special. Our server Cassidy was wonderful! She was pleasant, accommodating, and friendly. She took great care of us. The manager also stopped by and listened to my concerns. I really appreciated that. Most times when an experience is less than pleasant... the recovery is what matters. Overall I would still come back... I just will try different items.

Overall the food is pretty good, lots of starch options. I guess it's pretty normal for creole food, I just wish they had a bit more variety. It was a pretty slow night, in the middle of the week, but I'm sure with heavy business travel this place fills up. Overall I like the food, but I don't know if I'll be back here as I didn't really well me that much.

Where do I start with this amazing gem of a restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was politely greeted and shown to my table. I instantly noticed some of my favorite music playing from when I grew up. I absolutely loved the way they decorated the entire place. My server was very friendly and instantly made me feel at home. I had a question about the jalapeño Mac and cheese and she gave me a great explanation. I ended up ordering the chicken fried chicken. The crust was nice and crunchy and the chicken was incredibly juicy. The tasso gravy that accompanied it was a match made in heaven. I believe that same gravy was also on my mashed potatoes, because they were amazing as well. On to the jalapeño Mac. It's hard to describe how good it was. I'm not really that big on spicy stuff at all. This Mac had the flavor of a jalapeño without the heat (the manager later told me they remove the seeds). Everything I ate that night was perfectly seasoned and made with love. Can't forget the pancakes!!! They had a slightly crisp edge to them, which is how I prefer them. They weren't too fluppy by any means........Just perfect pancakes. I highly recommend Brielle's Bistro to anyone looking for great food. Update: The food was so perfect that I decided to come back for a second day in a row. This time I tried the blackened chicken breast, smothered in a creamy mushroom sauce. Devine doesn't even begin to describe the flavors I experienced. Of course I couldn't help but get the Jalapeño Mac & Cheese again. It definitely didn't disappoint. The sweet waitress talked me into trying the Mardi Gras cheesecake. Such a great recommendation. I ate every bite, even though I was already full. Next time you're in the area, don't pass this place up. The decor and music alone is with a visit. Update #2: I came back for dinner and it was just as amazing!!! I'll leave it at that lol.

Upon the recommendations of a couple of friends, we decided to try out Brielle's tonight. I have been wanting to try it for a while, and we had a very enjoyable meal. One of the most memorable things was the friendly service. All of the waitstaff were smiling and always checking in on us. The restaurant is not too large, maybe 12 or so tables. It has a casual atmosphere with a Mardi Gras decor. I decided to stick with the Cajun theme, and I ordered the crawfish po' boy with a side of red beans and rice. Both were delicious and very filling. We had crab beignets for an appetizer, and they were good, but I felt they might need a bit more salt or seasoning. They were filled with plenty of crab though and very little filler. I probably needed more of the sauce, which was spicy and flavorful. My friend had the chicken fried chicken, and it was tender and juicy. Her sides of gravy, green beans and fried okra rounded out a classic southern meal. We enjoyed our meal, and next time, my husbands says he gets to go too.

I came back to Brielle's for Saturday brunch. This time I had the Croissant French Toast with Scrambled Eggs and Andouille Sausage. It was delicious. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed the Mardi Gras music Brielle's has become a local staple for me so I will be back next week!

I was really in the mood for Chicken Fried Steak and that is what I ordered. I was seated a little off the main dining area I would suppose since it was just me. I liked sitting by the window , but since it was my first time it would've been nice to sit with more decor. There was a Christmas tree in my area. To start she gave me a pot of coffee and water. The coffee was definitely not a pick me up , very weak and not much flavor. The manager came by when I was about finished and talked to me a little and said he was from Yukon since I had told him I just retired and moved to be with my son and his wife in Mustang and how I liked the small town living. He said he gets about half and half on the coffee from people , half like it and half don't like me. Also being from South Carolina originally I love breakfast. I moved from Las Vegas where I've been since 1991. I was surprised that Big Biscuit doesn't give a Military Discount especially being across the street from the Air Force Base. I'm a Veteran. Back to food ! The Chicken Fried Steak was good sized and cooked properly , but the gravy wasn't right. Instead of a white gravy with some sausage in it , it was a brown gravy. It also needed more seasoning like pepper which I put quite a bit on. The Grits were a bit off and I love Grits. They seemed like they needed a little less water when cooked or cooked a bit more. I read in the comments that someone had enquired about the Grits and were told they use chicken stock to cook their Grits with , that might be the problem. I also added quite a bit of salt and pepper to them. The Biscuit was picture perfect and very soft. It did fall apart a little , but with Butter it was pretty good. I tried also a couple pieces with the Grape Jelly and with the Strawberry Jelly. The Biscuit tasted better with the Butter. Scrambled Eggs were cooked properly and tasted good and a little fluffy which I like. With Tax was $25.00 , a little more than I think it should've been , but close. I would like to give them another try again one day , maybe another location. The manager said he was trying to get them to build one in Yukon which I think would be a good idea. I will try the Pancakes next time or something else.
