The filet mignon I ordered last night was dry and over cooked. I asked for it to be cooked at medium temperature but it had a white center - not pink. Also, it was not the best cut either with areas of fat on it. We gave our server a coupon we received in the mail for $20 off our meal. He took it but we did not get the discount when he presented us with the bill. We left the restaurant feeling like it would be our last visit there. We have been coming to Brio for years and we were disappointed with last night's experience. read more

Came on a Saturday evening during superbowl weekend. Shouldn't be surprised it was packed, but the staff handled well. They were as efficient and quick as they could be. Luckily we had a reservation so it wasn't long of a wait to get seated. For the food, it was edible and served room temperature. The flavor was hardly there and reminded me of TV dinners. Beautiful space, but I wouldn't go back/recommend especially for the menu prices. read more

Food was made using very good quality ingredients, but chicken was dry and sauce was watered down. Waitress was annoyed from the moment I asked for water only. Waitress gave me the bill with $50 with of extra stuff I didn't order. When I asked her about it she obviously pretended to be confused, how could she have accidentally added all that extra stuff? Was she trying to get a bigger tip or something? So strange! I thought maybe she gave me a bill for a different table but it had the same table number when she brought me the "correct" bill. If you decide to go here, I recommend checking the bill closely. read more

I did not read the recent reviews before coming. We came here on a whim. Well, let me start out by saying, the service was terrible. Possibly the worst service I have ever had type service or at least top 3 in my life. Onto the food. I got the lobster and shrimp fettuccini. For $36 I got $5 worth of lobster and $8 worth of overcooked shrimp. The sauce wasn't good or bad. I don't recall what the wife got but she gave me a bite and it was good. Have you ever gone out to eat and when you pay the bill feel like you got robbed? Well that is the feeling we got here. In the end Brio tries to be an upscale Olive Garden with a horrible staff. 1 star for service. 2 stars for overpriced food. By the way, we are never coming back. Unbelievable service from Natalee, this young lady is going to go far in life. She is beautiful inside and out, she is attentive, helpful, awesome eye contact, answered all of our questions regarding the menu. I can't tell you how many times she checked in on us and about our meals. To have someone with this young age and have all of these fine qualities and go the extra mile for us and your restaurant, what an asset she is to you. WOW, came here for lunch with my girl and my niece for lunch while visiting them in AZ. We were in the plaza, forgot the name of the outdoor mall... but they have a huge variety of restaurants + more! We ordered a mixture of items including some appetizers and our entrée dish. I think I might have been really hungry which made me not take any pictures of my pasta dish. We did share the artichoke dip & the calamari plate. Might I add that we were able to sit outside and enjoy our delicious plate of food with good company! Service was superb and def can say I'm a fan! I was also part of table of the individual who also provided you with a review. In short, the restaurant was HARDLY at capacity, yet we ended up waiting well over an hour for our meal. We ended up canceling the order. Our waitress told us that she checked over 20 times on the status of our order. She did her job. Yet unfortunately, her manager did not think we were important enough to explain what exactly was going on. As an entrepreneur myself, I would NEVER put my employees in that position. Whoever was the manager this evening needs to be addressed. Not interested in free meals. All we were offered was bread, water, and did get our bottom of the barrel salad and the entree we ordered. While the food tastes good and atmosphere is nice, this place has gone downhill significantly since we first started dining here about five years ago. Used to have the same wait staff, but turnover has mostly new staff every 45 days. Lack of training and subpar service is my recent impression of this place. Pricing knowledge is severely limited, we had several pricing issues that needed correction at the end of meal too. Lunch portions are smaller than they used to be. Our wait staff lack of follow up was both noticeable and perplexing. I could understand if it was busy, but the restaurant was less than a third full in each section. The last 3 visits the kitchen staff (not the wait staff) has delivered the main course to the table. Looks clean and upscale. Based upon our last 3 visits this place is no longer a good value for the money. Sincerely disappointed. read more

My mother & I had a fabulous evening last Thursday with Ken. He was very professional and pleasant to all. We sat at bar for happy hour, enjoyed our cocktails and service extremely. We used to go to Bravo in Indiana all the time, and there is a Brio in Arizona; so we decided to stop in today because I was craving the Chicken Milanese :) We made a reservation and noted that we wanted to be on the patio. Their patio is large two different areas) and they have heaters to ward off the chill. Service was really good, seemed safe, and we enjoyed the ambiance. Of course; my chicken Milanese was good, and hubby had the chicken Marsala. He gave it a B for flavor, texture and the asparagus that came with it was mediocre. I was really disappointed that they force you to order a dinner size portion on Sunday's. I certainly cannot eat that much food; so it goes to waste. Certainly; in this day of excessive obesity, this policy should be revisited. Crazy to force feed everyone. So 'lunch' was $90 before tip- two entries, two glasses of wine and one beer. We came here in hopes of having a special first Mother's Day. My husband made reservations and specified that we would have an infant with us. Upon arrival, the hostess told us she didn't know if she could accommodate us because of our baby. The restaurant was packed, loud, and hot and we had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time. Once we were seated, it took our waiter 30 minutes to bring us bread and silverware and to take our order. My husband ordered the pasta allá vodka and said it was okay. I ordered chicken Marsala and to my surprise, it only came with two mushrooms. Once we pointed this out to the waiter, he explained that they don't make it with mushrooms because people don't like the mushrooms (even though the menu said it comes with mushrooms). We finished our meals and then waited 30 minutes for the check. The table across from us also had issues with timing and even asked for the manager. The manager came to their table, didn't even give them a chance to speak, and quickly explained that their waiter would be with them shortly. Overall, the whole experience was very disappointing. We were so excited to have an evening to celebrate and ended up stressed out and feeling like we wasted both our time and money. read more

We were seated for 15 minutes before any acknowledged us being there. Service was extremely slow once our orders were taken. We were actually seated for an hour before apps arrived. Beverage refills were never offered, we had to wave down the waiter. App tableware was never cleared away, which only took up table space as out entrees arrived. Once the entrees arrived, 1/2 our food was cold and rubbery, the other half was sent back and we refused to have it remade. Seriously, how can a restaurant screw up pasta dishes so badly? Our server even commented on how many people are complaining of the quality of food coming out of the kitchen, and getting comped. I seriously doubt anyone in that kitchen has any culinary experience. Food here made Olive Garden look like a 5 star Michelin quality restaurant, and we didn't even get endless salad and breadsticks. Would not recommend, and will never go back. read more
