Brisam's was a great stop for some decent lunch. We had philly steak sandwich which came highly recommended. The meat was tender and flavorful. It had options to add jalapeños and/or bell peppers. Our first time dining here. We came in for lunch. I normally don't eat cooked fish. I prefer fish in raw (sushi grade). However, my husband recommended for me to try one of their specials - Cajun Cod. Very delicious. No fishy taste. The waitress was very nice and very pleasant. The restaurant is really inside. We've been going to Brisam's for years but lately it's started to slump. We went last night and there was one waitress for the entire front room. It was quite busy and service was iffy at best. We went with friends and had different meals. All were OK at best. I used to love their Reuben sandwich and this one was very tough. And the french fries were warm not hot. It's a quiet small friendly place. Bartenders are great. The food is good. The atmosphere is easy going . Nothing crazy fancy . A polo and some nice jeans and you can fit right in. Personally I believe the best part about the place is how it's tucked away from anything and you don't get a lot of riff raff. Amazing food! Chicken Marsala was beyond the best I have ever had! Tender, so much flavor, fresh, and just the right size portion for this girl. My husband had their fish and chips and also said it was the best he has had in awhile. Do not hesitate to come and try. We are camping at Cave Creek Regional Park, and it was a short 5-6 mile drive. We decided to try a new place for lunch and heard some good feedback on this place and decided to give it an attempt Overall the food was amazing, chicken was tender and the noodles were cooked properly in my Yakisoba Bowl. My wife enjoyed her burger as well. My only complaint is that my Yakisoba Bowl was suppose to have carrots and celery, however the celery was missing. Perhaps there is a celery shortage which is why it was missing from my dish. Perhaps it was stolen by a celery gremlin. Service was five stars! Cindy is our waitress and she is exceptional oh, she has real passion about making a customer feel like they're the only customer in the business. She says hello to all the locals she knows what they want to drink before they sit down. The restaurant itself is very warm and inviting open seating with a nice bar patio area. You can tell it's patronized by a lot of locals little bit of an older crowd but a good mix of people. Everyone in here has a smile and is enjoying the company and the food. They have specials every day and happy hour 3 to 6 everyday. We ordered the rainbow trout special and a cheeseburger with a house salad. The trout special came with a rice pilaf and vegetables. Even though we are in a landlocked state I still love my Seafood and it's supposed to be a little healthier, LOL. So I ordered the trout it came out grilled with the skin on. The green beans were a little bit overcooked the rice was very good, the trout not so much flavor probably not very fresh but not bad. The American cheeseburger was excellent the Patty was very flavorful the cheese was large and melted the bun was very light & flaky not thick bread that fills you up. We were also able to taste the Spanish egg rolls I think they're called very good and flavorful. This is definitely a place you want to come to visit for lunch or dinner and socialize with a crowd that is super friendly. The pizza , the chicken / steak phillys , the pasta , salads , etc. all excellent, and reasonably priced. Excellent service , always with a smile , and great conversations at the bar. Don't hesitate , I highly recommend it. It's also bound to have the game on if your looking for a Sunday football game while indulging in fine cuisine. Go for it , you won't be sorry.
