It is a bit noisy in the dining room yet I love the staff there. Super friendly and eager to ensure you enjoy your food. The chicken philly and onion rings are to die for. We went last night for a late dinner 8:00 we arrived and were seated right away . I think the server was the owner . She was really sweet , took our order , from memory and I think another table and all was correct . We ordered drinks (ice tea and beer) our food was quick to follow, all American cheese burger with fries and a chicken Philly ( no peppers) . Food was cook fresh , very good . I forgot to take pics . My family used to go here a lot. The food is pretty good and it has a great atmosphere, great bar, and some good beer choices We recently got take out and we're a bit shocked to see it packed. No one seemed to be worried about social distancing and not one employee was wearing a mask. Freaked us out a bit and in talking to other cave creekers it really concerned them to. Maybe once all the covid issues are over we'll be back but just to be safe we plan on avoiding this place for awhile. It's been quite a few years, maybe even several, since I've been here. I remember liking, but not as much as I enjoyed it last night. Unfortunately they don't take reservations for a party of 5, but many places don't. We hit timing right on the jackpot though. As we walked in, a large booth opened up and we were seated right away. Our server, I believe her name was Taylor, was on top of her game. She was quick to get our drinks, prompt to take and deliver our orders, had great recommendations, was funny and polite and just took great care of us. The food was good too. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and said they would be happy to come back. My husband and I both ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which were not super spicy, but had a small kick. I loved that they had a 7 grain bun. So many places only have one option. My mom and grandma thoroughly enjoyed their Creole Shrimp with garlic bread, I can vouch that I was delicious and my stepdad liked his chicken fingers. We also ordered the southwestern eggrolls. These aren't my favorite anywhere, but they did have a nice flavor and had just a skosh of heat. When we went to leave the owner held the door for us and seemed grateful for his customers. Food is OK and service is just as OK. Nothing to write home about. Typical almost bar food. Lots of locals but the place looks pretty run down and dark. I was done with my plate but wanted to take the rest home. The service person just grabbed my plate and out it on top of bunch of other dishes and took off. I told her I was going to take the rest home. She looked at me, looked and the dish and said "Oh well. sorry". Been there once. Have no desire to visit again. read more

Decided to try again at Brisams after 5 years absence as we do like to support local businesses. What a mistake. Mac and cheese arrived cold and was returned to me having been microwaved. This did nothing to improve the watery ( fake? ) cheese sauce half cooked mushrooms and teeny weeny (search for it ) dried up over cooked chicken scraps. Having been nuked the fresh tomato was now cooked. My uneaten food was removed by someone who didn't care to ask if there was a problem with it. Our server the wonderful Cindy was too busy to notice that it was untouched. My husbands pizza was edible. Sorry this restaurant has spiraled even lower in the time we avoided going there. read more

We have been going to Brisam's for well over fifteen years and always enjoyed the food and Cindy's great service. And I also realize that most restaurants are having a difficult time getting fully staffed. But that does not mean customers need to accept being treated with such disregard. This place is a neighborhood hang out. It has a sports bar with sports games and dining tables inside and out. The food is feel good things like great hamburgers and onion rings along with a healthy choice of fish and veggies. Full bar and busy most evenings . Recently had early dinner in this neighborhood restaurant and bar. Place was pretty busy by 5 on a weekday and most appeared to be regulars. My wife had Quesadillas and I tried their sandwich special a Patty Melt with fries. Prices were reasonable and the service was good. I would say half the crowd was there for Happy Hour in the bar only. I gave them a three rating because the food was just okay and the interior looks like it could use a refresh. I would go back for probably lunch, but it isn't worth a special trip. read more

Looks like it has been a long time since they cleaned the cushions brought in new tables and chairs, etc. Kind of dirty all around. Which is too bad as the area needs a place like this. Decided to give Brisam's a try after reading the reviews. We ordered chicken wings with a side of fries, their specialty whiskey penne pasta, and kid's Mac and cheese. The food came pretty quickly. Both pasta dishes came with pasta slightly overcooked. The whiskey penne's sauce did have a nice kick and the blackened chicken (option at extra fee) was flavorful and juicy. Fries were fresh and served hot and crunchy. The chicken wings were okay they were a bit on the wet side. My drink, mango tango, was not bad but also not great. Overall the experience was decent and good to have another dining option in the neighborhood read more

Another good neighborhood watering hole. We always sit at the bar, a theme we have as you really get to know the establishment really well. We've had two different bartenders here both of which are welcoming and know how to treat their customers. We always have great conversations with both we've had. On our last visit we watched the tender make an amazing from scratch margarita. Although I'm a beer and gin and tonic guy only here my wife got the margarita as it was mainly alcohol. So of course she orders another and I almost hand to wheel her out of the place. Oh did I mention this was 2pm on a Friday . Overall the food is good as well.
