I visited the Bristol Sunset Café many times. It's my favorite place to have breakfast for any special event or really anytime. They have a Yelp waitlist, which I really like. I do see people getting frustrated with the hostess, who's always so gracious, when she lets them know that there's 34 people in front of them in a two hour wait. Someone who lives about 20 minutes away, this is very convenient and helps me time when I can meet my family or friends for breakfast. Big fan! The weight staff is always amazing. The food is always cooked so quick and the food runner does a great job at bringing it all out at once. I really do love that. The first sandwich I had was on a bolo. It was an egg, bacon, cheese, and hash brown. Cooked perfectly. They had a special on my birthday for banana pancakes which is you can tell by the picture, were huge! They were absolutely delicious as everybody had a banana and peanut butter chips. On my birthday I also had a sandwich on a brioche roll that had an egg with chive cream cheese inside. This really is one of my favorite meals there. They're open all the time, which is really nice. It's so cute inside although sometimes it's a little loud. I used to visit the Sunset Bakery as a child and it's good to know they're keeping their tradition alive and well!

Always great food, I've reviewed before and we always enjoy how well they chef it up at this kitchen. They deliver every single time.

Reserve ahead of time on Yelp or you're going to be waiting a long time. Food was amazing and so was the service when the waitress realized we weren't tourists. Lol. Try the chocolate pancake and bacon pancakes. Also the butternut squash & broccoli hash. Heaven!

Really good. I got the Portuguese Benny. It was super tasty. My daughter got the OG Benny. She loved it. Neither of us could finish it. The home fries were spot on. Friendly staff in a cozy place. No wonder there's always a wait.

    Crab cake benny

Their pricing is pretty good in general. I tried crab cake Benny as it's not that common. It's interesting. When I first got the dish, it looked pretty simple, dry, and bland. But they did have white sauce on top of the eggs. The crab cakes are pretty heavy and salty in my opinion. So adding arugula definitely helps. But still, it tasted good in the beginning but then a bit too heavy for me at the end. One of the crab cakes is slightly over pan fried. The potatoes are pretty good. I like that they used the red potatoes. My friend got omelette and the toasts as the side are surprisingly good. It looks just like ordinary toasted white bread, but they added butter and a bit salt and it's crispy outside but soft inside. It's pretty good. They are pretty popular in the weekend morning. We waited for 15-20 min for a table of two. They have indoors seating and limited outdoor seating.

Great food, friendly service, casual/modern atmosphere. Portions are generous but also pricier for breakfast. There is a bit of pressure to eat quickly and leave due to the long waitlist. Maybe that was because our table was near the door, so we were hyper aware of parties just standing and waiting. The wait can be incredibly long, so highly recommend you use the waitlist feature ahead of your visit. We dined on a Sunday - added our party of 3 to the waitlist around 9:20, our seating time was estimated to be 10:30, and we were sat about then. A very accurate estimate. There's no waiting area inside, so I do not recommend arriving early.

Mallory our server made our day, and breakfast delightful!!!

Great place to Nosh in Bristol Ri, wait time is a bit horrendous but when seated.... relief servers attentive and kind, got a window table Coffee is very good, mimosa's too our first time here so more about the food later. Get here early, leave name and cell number if you've a long wait time, you can stroll to nearby shops. Mallory was indeed an awesome server....it was busy

Waitress did not check in to see how we liked our food after it was delivered, but otherwise gave great service with a smile. Menu is small and very meat and seafood centric - not especially ideal for picky eaters or vegetarians/vegans. The Thai wrap appetizer tasted exactly like the Asian salad you can buy in a bag at the grocery store for $3. They were not really 'wraps' but this pre-made salad tossed upon some leaves of lettuce, difficult to eat, and had only the smallest dallop of peanut sauce on them (which was the best part!) My partner's General Al's Chicken took you on a journey from savory to sweet to spicy flavor-wise, but there was something off about the taste that he did not care for (and I've never seen him dislike food at a restaurant. Ever.) My side salad was lettuce only doused in the same aforementioned Asian salad grocery store mix dressing, with lots of wilted/old lettuce that I had to pick out. My entree was good but tasted generic, like something I've had at other chain restaurants a million times before with no unique twist put on it. It had a sauce but it had little to no flavor - couldn't figure out what it even was and didn't remember it being on the menu - so it added nothing to the dish. There are lots of rave reviews here, but we just don't get it. We've ordered takeout from here before and that time, too, we were not overwhelmed with joy, just kind of 'whelmed.' Very 'meh,' and with so many other incredible food establishments within a 25 minute drive in Providence or in between, or even great local spots in town, this place just doesn't hold a candle. Not worth going back. It felt like a very novice chef was at the helm and dishes lacked inspiration and new, exciting flavors that we haven't seen before.

One day we were undecided where to go... the typical "where do you want to go? " "I dunno, where do you wanna go?" infinite loop. We were driving on Wood street and she asked me if I wanted to try B&B. My gut instinct told me NO, IT'S VEGETARIAN FOOD. VEGETARIAN FOOD IS THE DEVIL!, but somehow I mustered up the strength to deny these thoughts and agreed to try it. I love a good restaurant that waits on you, so the idea of walking to a counter to get my food didn't make me excited. I looked over the menu and saw they had faux chicken sandwiches. They use seitan which I always wanted to try since it's insanely high in protein. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken. They also sell beer too which was cool. I got a Clownshoes IPA that I sipped until they brought the food to the table. The portion size of the sandwich is monstrous! I could tell by the sauce drizzle that I was in for something special. The colors from the cabbage slaw in the sandwich provided a solid presentation. As I bit into the sandwich, it had the chew of tender fried chicken and the seitan had some wicked flavor. I'm salivating just talking about it. The sauce had a nice sweet tangy heat which really set it off nice. We ordered fries which were nicely salted and served up with a little cup of aioli. Very good. Honestly, I never thought vegetarian food could taste this good and hopefully I don't regret posting this review and the place blows up and have to wait in line for hours next time. Lol! The burger I ordered (bacon cheeseburger with no bacon) was delicious. No complaints there and I will probably reorder. The only problem here was that I asked for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, to which the waiter simply said okay. Turns out it was an undisclosed upcharge. Not only did he not tell me it would be $2.75 (or something like that) more, but the fries are listed as the same price online. When I told him that, he said that their online menu is really old (this is to say, don't look at it! and also, not sure why they wouldn't update it if they know it's incorrect). Sure enough, the printed menu also said nothing about an upcharge for a different fry, so ultimately I was able to remove the charge, but it was a little awkward and frustrating. My only other complaint is not particularly the fault of the restaurant, but I suppose just a side effect of the laidback vibes. A group of 7 or 8 people came in like 20 minutes after us and was so loud that I almost suggested we leave. My guess is they were drunk, but it was a Wednesday night around 6:00, so I wouldn't have expected that. They were so loud that I was yelling to my friend who was within arm's length. Totally changed the vibe and enjoyment for me.

We started with a half order of nachos topped with the most flavorful pulled pork I've ever had. My wife and I literally couldn't stop eating. Every detail was intentional, and you could taste it. Then came the dry rub chicken wings--perfectly cooked with a juicy center and a crisp exterior. The subtle honey sriracha flavor layered in beautifully without overpowering the chicken. To finish, we had the baby back ribs over coconut rice. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the rice was cooked perfectly with just the right hint of sweetness, and the shaved Brussels sprouts with pickled onions and jalapeños added the perfect crunch and contrast. I genuinely couldn't stop eating. The service matched the food. Our waitress guided us with spot-on recommendations, and I must have told her six times that this was the best meal I've ever had. I was torn between the brie and bacon burger on their regular menu and the smashburger on their special menu. Ultimately I chose the smashburger because I could always come back for the brie and bacon. As crazy as it sounds, I wanted to be a little healthy so I asked for a greek salad instead of fries. After about 20 minutes, the entrees came out. I was a little disappointed that the cheese on the burger wasnt melted, but in the end, it didn't make too much of a difference since it was delicious. The tomatoes and lettuce were fresh, the fried banana peppers and bacon were crispy, and the meat was tender and flavorful. I think there were so many opposing flavors but they all came together beautifully - salty, acidic, creamy, cheesy. The buns could've been toasted a little more. The greek salad was also fantastic.
