The Home style dinner. Let me say The Food from start to end has been amazing!! Fried Calamari was tender and crispy. The Ravioli was so so good. Eggplant rolletini cooked perfectly and with no skin. My husband wanted to try a new pizzeria. After, driving in the wrong GPS direction, we found Brix in a strip mall. We were immediately greeted by Nicolette the bartender. She was so nice and funny while she gave us great service. Small bar was full so we briefly sat at one of the high tops in the bar area. Here we looked over the menu and decided to order coconut shrimp appetizer, pepperoni pizza and fries. While waiting for our food we were able to move to the bar. My coconut shrimp were placed in front of me and I was surprised at the small amount. The shrimp and sauce was good but there needs to be more for the price. 4 small shrimp is not an appetizer it's a tasting. My husband said, his pie was just ok! We ordered the grandma pie, stuffed long hots and truffle cheese fries which were all very good. My girls and I could not believe how slow the service was from start to finish. I met my husband here, held my dad's repast and nieces communion party here and oh rented out the whole place for my wedding (I had a pizza buffet with my cocktail hour...absolutely amazing). Candance the owner is the best! She handles everything with class and elegance offering traditional Italian fare with new favorites. She also donated a huge meal to the local ER staff for me at the height of covid. I finally returned tonight (I no longer live in the area but family does) and happy to see the place is still immaculate and top notch food. Rice balls and balsamic calamari were delicious. I hate every faux Italian restaurant in Morris County so went for the classic chicken Marsala. Tender chicken and drinkable sauce. My friend ordered the seafood Cobb salad...I wanted that too! November 3rd, 2022 (Thursday) An older gentlemen that is a regular here got fresh with me and tried to tell ME how to parent MY child because the guy was heavily intoxicated after happy hour (& I know him because I am a regular @ Brix-- he was wearing a green zip up sweater and jeans) I told the manager and said if he comes near me again I will stand up for myself! The bar was having a Belleville campaign night (which was very nice) My son crashed the campaign and was doing cart wheels while the pre-elects spoke lol A group of older men were making fun of gay gentlemen named Miguel by the bar-- I HAD to give Miguel food, water and find his belongings (no staff helped him). I told Miguel I would drive him home but he was adamant he could drive so I let him go (I am only responsible for me and my child) in the parking lot Miguel had a minor fender bender with another car who had a child in it. I believe the owners should take some accountability and focus on what's important and that's keeping all patrones SAFE. I love the food here but I will not support a business that allows sexual assault, extreme intoxication and just plain inhumanity. Food showed up an hour late and cold. The mushrooms look like they've been sitting for a while. Some of the cheese was hard on touch. The food was supposed to be my diner and it's now almost 12am. Instead of being apologetic, I received an attitude with the reply "the best they could do is get another driver out in the next 30 mins"...so my food can be cold again? I'll be following up to report how long it takes and if the food is cold or hot! I'm over here trying to support local business but duly noted Brix. And for all the folks I know moving to this area I'll flag this incident. UPDATE: By far some of the worst pizza... cheese barely melted, taste like salty store bought pizza sauce, not the artisanal kind. Where's the basil in the Margherita pizza if you can call it that? Chicken parm - Okay. I take this very seriously because the chicken parm sandwich is one of my all time favorite meals ever. Anyone can make it but to make it correctly and consistently is completely different. Brix restaurant and pizza bar does it absolutely correctly and consistently. In fact, it's so good that it's my favorite in the area. I should've taken a picture at a different angle but I just wanted to eat. What takes it over the top is the fact that it comes with fries and the fries are some of the best I have ever had as well. The bread is otherworldly and fits with the chicken and marinara/ cheese perfectly. It's an all around 10/10 meal for a great price and I'll continue to order from here. Prime Rib Melt- I was never really a fan of prime rib, can't really explain it. But when I first saw the picture of this sandwich on Uber eats I was curious so i decided to get it. I didn't know what to expect but I usually am pretty good about picking good choices so I had a feeling I was going to be good. I had no idea it was going to end up being a top 3 favorite Sandwich of mine. It is absolutely magnificent every single time. I can only compare it to an Italian beef sandwich sold in Chicago . But even then I think this takes the cake. The bread held PERFECTLY under and on top of that prime rib that had a lot of juice and the flavor of that prime rib was spectacular, mouth watering. Again, it makes the experience even better because It comes with fries. They also give a white sauce that's delicious but I don't know what it is, think it's horseradish and something else. I have been to Brix twice with two completely different experiences, but nothing bad. My first experience was with my girlfriend. The place was very inviting and lively and the waiter was very caring and paid attention to detail very well which was sometime that stood out to me as impressive. The food was great and it was quite a great evening. The second time, the waitress wasn't quite as good, moreso apathetic than inattentive. The food was still decent, but not what grasped me the first time. It was nice that they have a live band playing there and it seems to have some regulars as I thought I remembered a face or two. Came here on a Wednesday night for their free dance lesson at 9pm... super fun, a huge turn out & social dancing in the restaurant/bar area after the class. Kitchen is open till midnight & seems like a American restaurant with pizzas, burgers, pastas but the bartender offered a Latin fusion special: corned beef empanadas. Sounds nom! I just did something small, ordered 2 side dishes: meatballs & brussel sprouts. The meatballs came as 3 large servings & 1 heaping casserole of sprouts. It was dark but I can tell the sprouts were oily, very much. Then sprouts were cooked super where it was still formed but soft in the middle. I would have liked it more if there was more flavor & less oil/butter... whatever it was. The meatballs were a bit crumbly, which is fine if it was meaty but I think they had mixed bread crumbs... too much that it tasted more like a matzo ball. Ehhh, not my favorite meatball, but it sufficed for my protein intake. Otherwise, the dancing is what you should come here for! read more

Ordered Grandma pie, calamari and rigatoni... I was not expecting much but oh my was I delighted to come across tasty good food delivered to my front door. Pizza was thin and delicious, the calamari was fresh and not over cooked (they weren't cheap with the sauce) and the rigatoni sauce made me say wow! Honestly, I barely am inclined to leave a review but I just had to give this place their well deserved 5 stars. Even my crying toddler stopped being fussy after eating the rigatoni lol..
