I hired bro rodent proofers when the solar companypre inspection found rodents in my attic. I got several quotes and Bro was hands down the best deal. They came out and blocked all entrances to attic and crawl space, and kept coming a few more times to monitor traps. 8 months later I heard rodent sounds again. They responded within a day or two and came out free to reinspect. The repairs they did were in good condition, the rodents I heard were on the roof under my solar panels, not in my home. The reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because we haven't caught the rat/rats after 5 days. 1. He did a thorough job in searching for entries. I had a 2 small companies, 1 major national chain, 1 government service (city does offer service to identify and help with rodent issues) and Eliab, whom I think is a one man company. He found 2 areas including an area in the roof where none found. There is also a hidden vent that was underneath the gravel where he found it which really impressed me cause I knew there is a hole there but i used gravels to cover it and he FOUND it. He also found a poorly made screen which the builder was slacking didn't enclosed it properly. He scored highest on locating entries compared to all those highly rated, big name companies. 2. If you have done your home work, you would have known that the way rodent company does this rodent proofing, they charge you for the sealing of all entries... probably in the range of $500-$1000 ($500 is reasonable, anything else they are taking advantage of your location), And then they charge you each rodent they catch... let's hope you don't have a family living in your house or you gonna go broke pretty fast. For instance, 1 place (not a national chain, just a small company) will charge you $400 to place traps, $55 for checking the trap each day they come out, and if they caught something... it's $99-$140 each.... Eliab charges me 1 time which for the sake of business practice, I won't advertise here. Let's say it's very reasonable and includes coming out to check traps every 5 days. 3. Cautious: There is couple of issue... one of them was the appointment I made say was at 8am. I confirmed with him the day before and he then told me the earliest he can do it is at 2pm. I wasn't sure if it was a miscommunication but 2pm actually was when I preferred but the reliability issue is something you need to take control of and he has yet to follow up if I caught anything etc. Here is the thing, Eliab is definitely good value because it most likely he is a one man show. For the price you are paying and if you are paying him to do the dirty work and manage him a little, then he's a good alternative. Now with that said, we have yet caught anything. So I will update this rating later if he did catch the rats in our crawl space/attic. I have been dealing with rats problems myself. At my age, might as well have someone else do it. If they did a good job house proofing it to prevent rats to get in and out of the house, your problem eventually will be taken care of cause the rats may starve to death. That's what I use Eliab for. Remember one company charges me the same amount to proof the house but Eliab is also trapping them without extra cost. I don't mind check the traps for him and he also offer like 6 months warranty. read more

They were prompt, remarkably polite and clean workmen. So when it was time for me to get new insulation I new who I would call. My experience was the same... considerate and respectful team, a thorough and detailed removal of old (house is from 1937!) soiled insulation, a cleaning and trap setting to ensure no critters could return and a few days later the instal of new R38. I am so thankful for Eliab and his team! I just sold my townhouse which is in an HOA development with shared walls on each side. Long story short, there was a pigeon problem in the attic before I bought the home that had never been fully dealt with properly, which I didn't know until we had the move out inspection done. Reply to 08/15 comments: Summary: Issue is not on the price at all as suggested. It is that Bro Rodent services does not meet it's commitments and does not complete agreed upon job(s). My agreement was for sealing all holes ( I couldn't know how many holes there were in the crawlspace, so me agreeing on a number as posted is BS) and 3 visits to check. Of course there are no guarantees - everyone knows that. The 3 visits were to be done within 45 days. The holes were sealed (decent job) but they missed on ALL followup visits. Scheduling for each followup requires multiple texts and calls. Then there are no-shows after agreeing on a scheduled time. The super-slow responses, no-shows and asking for more $ every time one calls for an appointment in an agreed contract is what hurts your business. Your continuous comments on the $650/annual deal shows what you really want. My house is rodent free after I went with another local provider - proper communication about what they would and wouldn't handle. Scheduling follow-ups on their own accord and showing bills for all additional material and costs. Normal professional work by a vendor usually, but it felt a whole lot more after my experience dealing with Bro Rodent. I gain nothing by posting bad reviews. The review is for as the work was performed. You can do a lot better business wise by just being disciplined and follow through on agreements, than coming here and trying to defend shoddy work. read more

It is not a company. It is just one guy. Call goes to his cell. He came to my house on Sep 16, 2020 to solve attic rat problem. He went on the roof pretending he is doing something but did nothing. He said that he closed hole in the attic. He didn't return back after 5 days. After repeated calls and texts he came once and again didn't do anything. After that now it is Oct 27, 2020 and he has missed multiple appointments. He is a cheater. He took $350. I didn't check that he is not licensed. Now I found out that he is not licensed so can't file complaint. He does not know how to solve rodent issues. His aim was to get as much money as possible during first visit and then vanish. His response is rubbish. He was to get $250 more after problem is solved but for more than 40 days it was just me chasing this guy, nothing else.
