I purchased a very large house in the Santa Cruz mountains. We called a rat guy who showed up and declared our house to be a "large colony". He treated the place but apparently some of the colonials escaped and formed a Federation of rat colonies. You could hear them running over the ceiling in every room every night in a 5000 sq ft house. So we called Eliab from Bro based on a reference. I was amazed. We had a rat that lived under our dishwasher and was coming out at night onto our counters eating avocados. Absolutely disgusting!! We set traps and nothing. I was quoted by others that they were going to set bait, which is horrible because then they die inn your walls. Eliab came out and worked on tHe roof, under the house, everywhere! Posting this update based on Eliab's reply to my original review from 1/9/20. Even if what Eliab replied were true and we had agreed to 2 animals for $250 (we didn't, but we'll put that aside), as I explained in my original review, Eliab and I at the very least agreed to new terms for 4 animals for $250 and then he backtracked on this agreement not even 24 hours later. This agreement and much of our communication was even conducted in Spanish, the agreement repeated back to him multiple times and asking for his verbal acknowledgement to ensure we had a mutual understanding. This was not a language / communication issue. Eliab's flip-flop on terms, threatening to sue me if I posted "bad comments" online, chronically not showing up at agreed times and even his removal of his original reply to my review that tried to discredit my character (describing me as the "kind of people with a bad heart," "no conscience" and a person who "take advantage and are not legal"; I have a full copy of his original reply) all demonstrate that he is not someone you can trust. As I previously said, avoid the mess we had to go through with Bro Rodent Proofing and find another reputable and trustworthy rodent specialist. read more

I had a rodent problem in the crawl space, rat entering from a hole of a vent screen. There were some feces on the ground and we did set up traps and get a rat. I asked for an estimate. The guy did put in the jump suit, crawl down and looked around with a teenager assistance. For the whole time, he tried to sell me the moisture barrier to cover the entire 2200 sft crawlspace which has been dry for the past 40 years and the clean up, traps, sanitizer $2 per sft. The estimate came out $2000 + $4400! If I do the whole thing, it would be $4000! I had a few other estimate s come in and all said don't waste the $ on the cleanup and moisture barrier. All other estimates are under $500 to do the rodent problem and I never called them again. read more

The service was great, they are a small oprration but took care of my rodent issue by closing all the holes where the rodents were entering. They are based in San Jose and my home is in Daly City, they didn't have an issue about my location. Eliab's team did a great job in solving the rodent issue at our house. We had been hearing noises from the attic ever since we moved to the new home almost a year back. I called a few companies to quote and eventually decided to hand this job to Eliab since he seemed knowledgeable and the reasonable in the quote. His team arrived promptly for the job - they did the cleanup and sanitizing and sealed several entry points which were apparently present due to the solar panel installation done few years ago. The rodents had been around since then. After the work was done they returned for inspections couple weeks later and found two dead rats in the traps that were set. However, we expect them to come to check on the trap once a week or two, but he only showed up once and nothing got caught. After that one time follow-up visit, no matter how we called or text him, he didn't response at all so he left all traps in my attic and crawl space so I guess he is expecting we deal with it by ourselves. Highly recommend this company (and owner, Eliab)!!! Got a couple of quotes prior to selecting them. Very good pricing, responsive, and quick appointment. We had a really bad rat infestation. Just over a week the rats multiplied fast & began biting their way from outside into our walls inside. It was terrible. Had to re-do the insulation & vents too for safety of our health. Eliab came as scheduled, removed the old insulation & vents, wire sealed every single hole from outside to inside the house, and setup traps all in a day. Within a couple of days, at least 5 rats were caught. Days after, 1-2 more trapped. Two days later, 1 more removed. Since our infestation was really bad, I wanted to continue trapping until completely clear of those rodents before replacing new insulation. Eliab was wonderful at accommodating to my request. During the trapping period, he came by every other to few days to inspect, remove, & replaced new traps. He reached out to check how things are. I really appreciated that. Shows he cared, stood by his service & was really attentive to our needs & issue. After 3 wks, we were able to replace the new insulation & vents as no presence of rodents at all. Probably could've done it after 2 wks but I was cautious & wanted to be certain. His service was great! I don't often write reviews, but this was exceptional!!! I wanted to share this awesome experience with others about Eliab & his company. Definitely use them if you ever run into rodent issues and besides that, OTHER SERVICES too. He replaced our attic fan and patched the holes in my walls as well (of course separate costs but at least they can do it without me having to call another service for).
