Went for brunch today. I got my new go to favorite the pick 2 benedicts. I got the golden state and tried a new one the sope benedict. The sope was a little tough, but the toppings were great. My home fries were over cook and cold. It was like eating potato chips. I let the server know and she kindly got me new ones that were nice and hot. Connie was very friendly and attentive. She made the experience very pleasant. Side note for management ladies restroom. 2 stalls one of them has no lock. I don't know how long its been that way, but it been like that when I last visited a few months ago.

It really comes down to service and food taste. For me, both were underwhelming. Our server, Ricardo during a late morning, early afternoon visit this past Sunday, disappeared for most of our meal. He didn't check on our table once the food arrived. I literally had to flag him down. I had to do the same thing to close out, sadly. The presentation of the food was a little sloppy and the iced matcha leans towards very sweet. Our meals were decent. The menu does offer a ton of brunch item variety but I would be prepared for a diner like experience

Our plans finally made it out of the group chat and we met up for breakfast at The Broken Yolk in Corona. I try to read Yelp reviews and check out pictures before trying a new spot, so I was a bit nervous about long waits or rude service. I'm happy to report my experience was the opposite. Even though half of our party was late, the host still seated us right away. We chose to meet at 9:00 am to beat the crowds. We were catching up so I knew it was going to be a long breakfast. I appreciate that we were not rushed or had the death stare to leave. But we were mindful of the crowd and got up to leave when we saw there were a lot of people waiting. I didn't try anyone else's food, so I'll stick to my plate: Green chilaquiles with eggs over medium. If you've read my other reviews you know I'm picky about eggs, but these were cooked to perfection--not runny. The carne asada portion was generous. My only wish would be a bit more sauce on my dish. The one negative thing I can say is we chose this place because the website has a join the waitlist button. We thought to be safe we should join on the drive there. Well it doesn't work so don't be fooled. Lucky for us it was not needed but I can see why for others it could be frustrating. Overall, the staff was friendly, the coffee was solid, and the conversations were flowing! Definitely worth another visit to explore more on the menu.

The vibe is very nice in here. Wait is typical for a Sunday around lunch time, like 10-15min. Service and food were great. First time trying eggs Benedict, I ordered the classic and the one with their homemade pablano sauce. Everything was amazing, and their classic cinnamon toast pancakes chefs kiss. Overall a great place to have breakfast!

Good was Amazing as always every time we come to Broken Yolk cafe. Love all the breakfast options. We were extremely satisfied with our food, everything was very flavorful. The waiters and hostess were extremely nice and brought our food out promptly. The Cafe atmosphere is always welcoming and love the different seating options they have. We love sitting in the booths. Truly one of our favorite restaurant/ cafe to eat breakfast & brunch. We'll be back soon to enjoy The excellent brunch once again.

It's best to go right when they open if you want to beat the weekend rush! I came with my family on a Sunday morning and was lucky enough to be seated right away. A line started to form maybe about 20 minutes after. It's your typical breakfast joint. Our server was nice. He kept checking in on us and refilling our coffee cups. The food came out pretty fast. I ordered an Iced Latte and the Meat Lover's Skillet. We also ordered the Sweet Trio to share amongst the table. The latte was okay. I typically like my coffee on the stronger side. It was a bit watered down to me. Probably wouldn't get it again. The skillet on the other hand was tasty. I enjoyed the sweet trio because you get to taste a little bit of everything. We couldn't decide between french toast and pancakes so this was perfect!

WARNING: Do NOT expect this location to meet an of the Broken Yolk standards. Per our waitress, they are franchised and they follow the Broken Yolk standards "half and half". ----------- I'm feeling so flustered by this experience that I'm writing this review as I got into my car. We walked in and there was no Broken Yolk long wait which should've been a tell all. 1: The Mimosa Flight and Bloody Mary Flights have more tomato juice and juice than actual alcohol. Spare yourself the $19 and just drink water. Their flights are NOT made the Broken Yolk way. I was also advised that they cannot remake them because they're "premade/pre-measured". We returned our drinks. I'm not paying $19 for juice with a splash of mimosa. 2: Chilaquiles - The most disgusting form of chilaquiles ever in existence. I'm sorry, but it's junk. It's disgusting. It tastes and looks like risotto. My daughter was kind enough to eat it because she doesn't have the gull to express her disdain. (Photo attached) 3: The machaca was good. The green salsa was good. The rice was microwaved and was hard and plastic'ey. The beans, definitely from a can. The waitress said they're made "fresh", but I'm old enough to know what "fresh" rice tastes like. 4: Crepes: Definitely still raw and not fully cooked. The service was good, the food was a total disaster. I appreciate the waitress giving us a discount for the terrible beans and rice, but that gesture doesn't make up for the $110 we just spent. Never again. Do yourself a favor and go to the real Broken Yolk in Rancho. Do not expect the Broken Yolk standard here.

    Chilaquiles Bowl

Visited on a Sunday morning and was fortunate enough to beat the rush for brunch! Inside the atmosphere was that of a casual breakfast spot. We were greeted when we walked in and seated right away. The service was great and we got our food in a decent amount of time! I have been to another location and I think I just didn't like the menu item I ordered. But this time I tried the Chilaquiles Bowl and it was pretty good! I actually enjoyed it and it had good flavor. I would give it a 4/5! I decided to try the iced latte as well. It was a bit too sweet for me and seemed watered down. I like my coffee on the strong side so I probably wouldn't order that again.

I'm lucky to be an assistant to people that need rides for doctors appointments and stuff. I was waiting for them in the doctors and I got to come here for breakfast. It was delicious. The service was perfect. It was really quiet inside. I couldn't believe it. I signed up for the email club and I plan on coming back soon. All good

By far my favorite location, I love that they have so many options on their menu. I prioritize coming here when I'm in the area. Staff is always so friendly. We usually order a full bottle for mimosa and have a great time. Benedicts Choose Two- great for indecisive people and want to try more items. I usually choose this when I'm feeling benedict. Chilaquiles Bowl- come fully loaded and I love that. Tortilla comes out crispy and drenched in sauce, who doesn't love a saucy chilaquiles? I prefer green sauce and theirs is great. I always choose shredded chicken and it's never dry. Omelets are great, they're huge and flavorful. Their omelets have never disappointed.

Our server today for breakfast was nice. There is a guy who I think is the busser and last time got us drinks to go, he's a team player for sure. The server came to the table, didn't introduce herself, ask how are we doing or if we've been there before. Anything. Straight to "are you ready to order?" It could be that she is new or was never trained properly. We had to ask for napkins, boxes, etc. which a guest should never have to ask you for. You know if someone if done eating and there's food on the table, you can ask if we need boxes. Everyone who eats needs napkins. Little things like that matter. I didn't give the lady a good tip specifically because every-time we asked her something, she either forgot or seemed like it was an inconvenience for her to get it. When she gave us our bill, I wanted a coffee to go and a to-go cup for my soda but she gave the bill and walked away so she didn't give me the opportunity to even ask. Which to me, I work in the restaurant industry and going the extra mile to ask if I wanted drinks to go would've made a huge impact. I will come back for the food and vibe, but giving excellent service is not hard if you really care and love what you do. The guest can read if you don't, and today it seemed like she did not really care.

My wife ends up getting the same tot scramble every time because of how good it is and I think it's amongst the best things of their menu. A few negatives this time: - asked for an empty plate and was given one that was pretty dirty (almost noticeably dirty) and had leftover food on the side of it from last use. - the price has become a little much. I'd like to see the prices go down about 25% and it would be perfect. - added cheese to my eggs and in my opinion, it could have been a bit more cheese on it. - not much a negative but more a personal preference. The waffle I got had almost too much butter on it. Again, not a negative, and I could have just put half of it to the side, but almost every bite ended up with too much butter. That's my fault. Other than these few things, very enjoyable and I would come back. I loved the bacon and my wife's farm skillet. Last time we came they gave us an envelope to use next time for a surprise discount. I would like to see more of that going forward to fix the price issue.

I've…read morelived in San Diego and I've lived in Baldwin Park and always seem to forget this place exists. Here's my honest review! We got to Lazy Dog in Corona around 9:45 pm where the greeter met us right away and took us to a booth located in the bar area. I am a bit weary of booths, and also weary of high top tables because I'm pregnant and have difficulty climbing/stretching just to sit in high top tables and weary of how tight booths can be in certain restaurants. The booth here at Lazy Dog was perfect! We got our menus and began looking until our server approached us. He introduced himself, his name was Javier, and asked us if this was our first time, to which he replied that yes it was. He explained the menus we were given and took our drink order while we reviewed the menus. Since it was happy hour, we tried their buffalo wings and Tangy BBQ Chips to start. I did not take pictures of those items and wish I had. The happy hour items we ordered were delivered by the Manager, who was very nice and chatted with us briefly. She welcomed us as first timers and that usually sets the stage for us when the manager interacts with the customers. The wings had a nice flavor and the chips were definitely addicting. My husband asked for a dipping cup of the high altitude sauce (Javier said it was their hottest) and that was a pretty good sauce with good flavor. To drink I had a Strawberry Citrus refresher, and it was actually really good. Husband had a regular Michelob Ultra, and had no complaints. We both chose food items from the menu, under the $15 Fireside Favorites. You get a choice of an entree and desert. Husband chose the fried chicken dinner with an extra piece of fried chicken and I chose the fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp. The food was good, I enjoyed my fettuccini Alfredo which I'm usually picky about. The husband was a little thrown off as he thought the chicken was going to be like bone in fried chicken, and in the end he said it was good regardless. For desert, he got the S'more Brownie Sundae and I got the Banana Pudding. I was sold on the banana pudding, as was my husband. We ended up finishing my desert and took his brownie home (which got eaten later during our movie at home). I have to say, I'd definitely come back. There was so much on the menu that I would like to try.

I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. There were about 6 chunky chicken pieces, they were lightly breaded, tasted like white breast meat; also there was ginger, garlic, zucchini, onions, a few red bell peppers, and water chestnuts in the bowl. Included was cucumbers salad and steamed rice. I've had their chilled cucumber salad before and this time the cucumber taste wasn't the same, guess the juice would blend too much with the miso sauce. The bowl could have had more honey miso sauce. The chicken pieces were about 1-2" in size. The sauce was mostly over the vegetables. The meal also came with a choice of S'more brownie sundae or banana pudding. My pudding was delicious. The waitress didn't come around often to check on our needs. I had to stop her to ask for paper napkins, water refill and the check. I would definitely go back.
