Oh gosh. I only gave an extra star because the workers were so sweet. I totally don't blame the workers for my review please keep that in mind . It all leads to management and ownership. To begin with, I chose this place because I thought it would resemble the location in Rancho Cucamonga. The place in Rancho is incredibly lively during brunch times, regardless of the day, and has a great vibe to it even if it's super busy! This place just felt so dead. It looked dead and felt dead. It just reminded me of being in a half empty Denny's . The location of where the storefront is placed is also not that inviting and also has a very deserted feel to it. The food was OK. But not $20 worth. Portions are average. It'll definitely keep you full but you won't have leftovers either. Not sure if it's really worth ordering considering the price. The chicken was incredibly dry, completely lacking flavor, and tasted like it had just been boiled in water with no seasoning or sauce. I have been here twice and I am not a huge fan. They do have large portion sizes and you can totally share an item. I had the sampler breakfast and an omelet. The sampler was okay but I really only enjoyed the cinnamon swirl toast. The staff was nice but they will not sit you unless your entire party is there at the restaurant. We have been in this restaurant the last 3 weeks, spending $100s of dollars per visit and we have brought specialty drinks inside everytime. Today, on my wife's birthday, she wanted to celebrate her birthday by going to the Broken Yolk Corona and they say that no outside drinks are allowed very rudely. I am fine that no outside drinks are allowed but be consistent with your policy. My family and I were looking for a place to dine on Christmas morning, and after much searching, we found out this place was open! Rare on such a holiday, but we were greeted by wonderful staff and a moderately busy dining room. We were seated with no wait and our waitress came by shortly after to take drink orders. The place has a relaxed vibe, was clean, and relatively quiet. Staff was all cheerful and very on top of things! When it came time to order, my dad got the banana pancakes, my mom got the 2 benedict option, I got the sope benedict, and my boyfriend got the meat lovers omelet! Everybody loved their food, I literally dreamed of my benedict that night. Came here for breakfast and it was fantastic. I really loved how clean it was inside and very updated. The menu had a lot to choose from for food and drinks. I ended up getting the mimosa flight and eggs Benedict. They also had different types of egg Benedict like a southwestern one, veggie, and steak. The menu also had a good selection of Mexican breakfast favorites as well. The service was so good and our server was on top of the drinks and brining anything we needed. Came here on a weekday morning around 11am. Was originally going to dine in but saw how busy and short staff the place was and decided to order to go instead. Spent about $30 (before tip) for a hash skillet and chicken fried steak & eggs. Our meals were ready in the 20 minutes we were told, however an employee placed to go meals on a table and never called out customers names to have them pick up their food. One lady sitting near us that was waiting nearby just grabbed a bag from the table (what I assumed was her order) and left. I walked up to the table and saw the last bag placed on the table had my name/order receipt so I flagged down an employee and asked if I can grab it or if someone needed to go over it or check my receipt and make sure everything was there. Food was good, not spectacular. Our meals included A LOT of potatoes: hash skillet had home fried potatoes and country fried steak included hash browns. About half of our to go containers was the potatoes! My daughter liked her hash skillet but said she'd probably get her eggs scrambled next time. My country fried steak was good, but needed more gravy, as it was not "smothered" as described in the menu, nor like most places that serve the same dish. read more

I just ordered from this place and I have to say it's one of the worst breakfast experiences I've ever had. The pancakes, French toast, and hashbrowns we ordered were all horribly made and disgusting, on top of that they didn't provide enough syrup. These are simple foods and they messed it up, badly. And to top it off, it cost over $40 dollars. I urge you to never order these items either dining in the restaurant or ordering for pickup. Everything on the menu is completely overpriced for what you're getting. It's a total rip off. It's much better to make it at home or go somewhere else. This place is an absolute joke and the community needs to avoid eating here to send a message. I've tried this location twice now. The first time, I got one of my favorites from the Rancho Cucamonga location (crunchy French toast) and tried the pumpkin spice latte. The French toast tasted strange (as if it were cooked in old oil) or on the grill with a meat product. I couldn't quite place it. The latte and service from Cameron was perfect. I went again with my oldest son, about a week and a half ago. I declined to get the Churro French toast. It was meh. The pumpkin spice latte didn't taste anywhere near the same as the first time I had one. I'm definitely going to stick with the Rancho Cucamonga location.
