We are frequent visitors at the Broken Yolk both in AZ and California so it made sense to come here as we weren't interested in battling the strip for parking and to grab breakfast before a big tournament day. The location seems a bit odd, and the layout of the restaurant is very tight, so it feels very cramped. The food however, met all expectations as we had the Tiki Toast, banana style pancakes, coffee & an iced tea (the refills kept coming quickly). There is very limited parking and small indoor wait area and unfortunately if your outside, your going to be facing the sun in the morning so be prepared to cook a bit as we go into the summer. We were so excited to try this new location of Broken Yolk cafe, we went in on a weekday and it was packed. Fortunately for us, there was one table open so we had no wait. Inside was clean but it was a little loud, as they had a full dining room. Our waitress was super friendly and went over the menu. We ordered the Chicken and Waffle benedict $14.95 and the Border Benedict $14.95 both came with a choice of hashbrowns, homefries, fruit, mexican rice, refried or black beans. We both chose hashbrowns. Food took a while to come out but we weren't in a rush. The Chicken and waffle benedict was just ok. The waffle was soft, and I prefer a crispier waffle. The hollandaise was a little bland, would have loved more lemon flavor or maybe a hot sauce or spicy syrup. The Border Benedict, on the other hand, was fire! I wish the sweet corn cake was larger, but loved the poblano sauce that came with it. read more

Caliah (spelling?) was the best waitress we have had in years. She was so good that we gave her a 25.00 tip on a 70.00 dollar bill. Meeting friends for brunch and conversation. They had been to Broken Yolk several times and raved about it. They called ahead and we got our table with no wait. Located in a small strip mall on St. Rose right across from Costco. David, our server, came by almost immediately to make some recommendations and get our drink orders. We all made modifications to what was on the menu when we ordered. David got everything exactly right (Kudos to David!!!) My coffee was surprisingly good. My wife went with the California Omelet ($16) but with Swiss cheese (a $0.75 uncharge!), a side of potatoes and an English muffin. Excellent dish. I chose the Meat Lovers Skillet ($15.45). Wow, was that good. I have had the equivalent of this dish at several other breakfast restaurants - this was by far the best version of it. And a huge portion - no way I could finish it. Ample free parking in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is nothing fancy but very clean - about what you expect from a chain breakfast restaurant. Wanted to try a new breakfast place nearby the St Rose area and stumbled upon Broken Yolk. Put our name on the waitlist before driving there. Once we got inside, we checked in with the hostess and probably had to wait another 20-30 mins, given I was only on the waitlist for 10 mins before getting to the place. The menu was extensive and had the usual breakfast favorite items, but we opt for the Huevo Con Chorizo plate consisting of scrambled eggs mixed with chorizo, rice, and refried beans with our choice of flour tortillas. We also got the Betty's Biscuit and Gravy and I chose turkey sausage and side of homemade potatoes. Finally we decided to add a side of one Lemon Ricotta Pancake & hot chocolate. The wait time for the food was probably the worst. It was a Sunday morning when we came, and it was packed both inside and outside. However, we saw a lot of food sitting on the kitchen counter just waiting to be served probably like 10 dishes that were not picked up. Our order didn't come out until 30 mins at most! The portions are huge, maybe not for the Huevos plate. The hot chocolate tasted like Swiss Mist mix with water, so nothing special. I've had better at other brunch places. The biscuit was on the dry side and the turkey sausage was okay. For some reason all the savory items were really salty. The potatoes were good, probably my favorite out of everything. The pancake was okay too, not much lemon flavor though. It was fluffy and again the size was huge! Overall, I don't think I'll be coming back here again for breakfast. Given the long wait time for the food to come and how it's seasoned, this place isn't for me. read more

Be sure to check the different locations for wait times. We were going to go to the one in Town Square but the wait was 90 min, so we went to the one on St Rose. The good part is we used Waitlist so by the time we arrived our wait was under 5 minutes. Servers were friendly and quick and the menu is pretty extensive. New location and they were packed for a Sunday. Food was tasty and and we were in-out in under 1 hour. Definitely worth the visit when in Vegas. read more

WORST BREAKFAST PLACE. We waited for about 3 minutes to be seated once seated, no one greeted us, brought us water, or took our order for about 15-20 minutes.
