Ok, considering this was New Year's eve, the place was packed. We were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait. It was actually about an hour before we were seated. Inside there was an inadequate number of servers. The servers were doing both serving duties and attempting to keep up with the non-stop line of people coming in the door. This has all to do with ownership and management. You put all of these customers on your servers. It tells me that you care zero about your hired staff. The light of our first visit was our server "Trey." He was hustling his buns off! The food was decent. I had the French toast with strawberries. If that is truly the case, what is the point of a waitlist and why did the queue show us first? Went back to the Broken Yolk and had the most amazing service and delicious club sandwich. Oscar was the star of our meal.

Was hoping for a bit more, maybe a bad day for them but their customer service and manager are excellent in realizing things, at least in our section, were imploding. YELP Short Answer: Sure worth a visit but there are similar options near by. Not sure on 1 hour wait times but they managed it like pros with an APP. Location: Great 111 and Washington access and parking is good with many shade trees. Buildout: Huge diner style, not fancy but perfect for what its intended purpose. Menu: Massive with more focus on breakfast but many diner lunch options as well. Order breakfast. Food Prep: Nothing Fancy but nicely done like there is a QC person checking pre delivery. Food Quality: It was ok, wish we'd ordered simple breakfast items, my guess those all ring the bell as I saw plates being delivered looking good. Waitstaff: Excellent - they run a very professional restaurant but something was up in the kitchen on our visit. Service: On this day it seemed like the kitchen was on strike or supporting SAG writers. Manager immediately got us a Bloody Flight which BTW was great. Then ordered from waiter one 5 minutes later, then waiter two appeared and asked us for our order and at that point time stood still for our section. We were 30 minutes in and some tables were getting vocal about the wait. Then buff superhero manager all of a sudden started delivering plates, impressive comeback. About 45 minutes in we got our food delivered and it was ok, my expectations were low at this point. My Breakfast Burger was a mess and somewhat tasteless for $18. Overall Value: It was good, I believe manager comped every table something and apologized perfectly to each table while taking a few arrows from rude customers. TIP: I'd say get there when they open 7am before the 250 tables and 800 or so guests show up. The table turn rate is brisk so hang in there is there is a wait, they have a great APP so you can do something as opposed to just wait and make fun of people. read more

Took way longer than needed to get the food ( 30 min and they were not busy) , my eggs came out cold. Pancakes were not cooked in middle . My husband ordered the American - hashbrowns crispy eggs over medium and meat well done - hashbrowns came out limp, eggs yolk was fully cooked , and meat was medium rare. The waitress was nice but didn't look at the food to even notice it was not correct. Go to the Palm Springs location... or Yuma... or Vegas... really anywhere but here. We waited more than 10 minutes to even place a drink order, then, I didn't get the food I ordered. My husband's scrambled eggs were overcooked and there were barely any blueberries in his blueberry pancakes. The waitress didn't check on us but one time & clearly knew there was a problem with the order when she came to the table. I returned here for breakfast this Saturday morning and since I was alone, ate at the snackbar seating. I have to say that the Cinnacakes I had, were special and good! A different take on pancakes, they were wonderful and big! I was happy to get poached eggs medium since they are not cooked that way everywhere. I noted the table busser used the same towel to wipe the table, then wipe the bench seat then put the towel in his pocket then back to wiping the next table. This was the worst meal I have EVER had. Waited 30 minutes for a table and ended up at the counter. 4 or 5 table needed to be cleared to seat people and remained dirty the entire time we were there. Another couple came and sat at the counter with dirty dishes in front of them that were never cleaned and they finally left without getting helped. The eggs and Turkey bacon were terrible. Eggs over cooked and look like they had been sitting in the kitchen for an hour. The bacon was way undercooked.
