I went here with my family, today. I must say that it was crowded with a 30 minute wait for a table. I ordered the hash skillet. The food was good, a little greasy, but had potential. The service wasn't the best, it could be better. And at least, the place was clean. Besides all that, at least I spent real quality time with my family. You Close at 3pm we went in with a little over 1.5 hours left til closing time and the guys up front looked at eachother and us like it was an issue we walked in. Booth tables are being pulled away feom the seats and half the dining room all chairs were up and gave the place a "closed hurry up and leave" vibe. I've worked in plenty of restaurants so I'm familiar with pre closing but everyone just seemed more focused on closing and leaving rather than the guests. Food runner brought the food for 4 of us and told us he needed to go grab the last two kids meals we ordered and he stopped to talk to someone sitting at the bar that was already off the clock and the host guy that first sat us. Stood there talking for 8-10 minutes before he finished his conversation and finally decided to go grab my last two kids food. I love this place we order alot here online or come in occasionally with my wife but today aside from Lena was a bit dissapointing because we never come towards the end we always come right when they open and have had great experiences but again, today felt more like "hurry up and leave so we can finish closing we don't wanna be here" read more

I'm not from the area, but I've been to this cafe in Buena Park before! This time, I got the Mom Omelet. In my opinion, the Mom Omelet was pretty bland to where I had to pile on a bunch of tapatio until it was better tasting for me. We had a choice of choosing sides that come along with the omelet and I decided on fresh fruit and a blueberry muffin. My blueberry muffin never came out even though I asked twice :/ the second half of my table didn't get our order out until 15 mins later while the other side of the table finished their meal. As for the drinks, their Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte was AMAZING and I highly recommend it along with their solo Mimosa with your choice of juice! I'm only knocking off a star because I know their other dishes are better than mine because of my selection at the Buena Park location and hearing my friends own reviews. My only problem was my fiancé ordered the chicken fried steak with over easy eggs and she found egg shells in her eggs but other then that everything was great. The service was incredibly bad and we waited at least an hour for our food for other that arrived after us to be served first and our food was room temperature. Had to have been sitting for at least 20 minutes. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for good breakfast. Louise's Pantry is 10 times better and actually has good service. It's unfortunate this place is managed so badly with the fun diverse menu. Will never be returning read more

A pleasant surprise. We were quick to be greeted in a friendly manner, waited for about 10 minutes before seated. Server came right to the table and got us beverages quickly, took our order and Dodd was served hot and within 15 minutes. I had the Sopes Benedict and mom had the Chorizo Scrambled. Sopes we're great. Salsa was fresh, zesty and flavorful. I requested my eggs a specific way and they delivered. Mom's Scramble was too spicy for her but she said it was very good but too much for her. Bottom line...reasonably priced, good portions and great service. read more

I mean if you like waiting 40 minutes for a table whilst there are 50% of the tables open this is your place. Food is very very average, IF they get your order right on the first couple attempts. Waiters are not the nicest, seem like they don't want to be there or be working. My 25 year old brother took a sip of a mimosa and didn't have his id, then got a nice lecture on how he can't be drinking. Terrible atmosphere. Just go somewhere else it's not worth it. For the price for the service, all really for nothing. There's many more places here that are 10x better service and food wise. Waste of a morning. read more
