This place had long been the best place for a breakfast burrito and everyone on the island figured this out a long time ago. in recent years though, a few other places have made better burritos and for much much less. As bronco's have slipped in quality, they have cashed in on their popularity and have jacked up the price on their burritos to ridiculous heights. What a disappointment. After reading all the reviews and hype about this hole in the wall I was pretty excited to give it a shot. After wading through a shoulder to shoulder mass of people to place my order I chose the bronco burrito with everything. After obtaining my order I ended up having to go to the car and find a place to eat it since there are only about 12 tables in the whole place and from what I hear it is always slam packed. The burrito itself was a pretty good size, but very very bland, like almost no taste at all. For having eggs, chorizo, bacon, cheese I sure couldn't taste it. Small family owned and operate breakfast burrito restaurant serving up the absolute BEST breakfast burrito I have ever been lucky enough to consume. The green salsa served on the side is a wonderfully spicy delight. I could see myself gaining 30 pounds if I ever lived in Galveston because I'm pretty sure I would eat here atleast once a week! I have lived in galveston for 16 years and driven past many times but today is the first time I have eaten here. Boy I wish I could go back and have a do-over! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and I can't say enough about the food. I had the miga plate and my better half had a big honkin' burrito for like $4. Been coming to this local mom-and-pop for over 10 years. Now that I live off the island, I make a point to stop for a bronco burrito at least once whenever I visit. The Bronco is customizable, not a fan of potatoes? No prob! Want extra thick-sliced bacon? just ask. The cheesy goodness comes wrapped up in a fresh, homemade tortilla. There are other items on the menu but I've never bothered to try them since the Bronco burrito is just that good. Make sure to stop if you're on the island! read more

Fantastic burritos! Best spot on the island for breakfast, one of yhe very few places I would go to rather than have my own homemade breakfast burritos. Limited menu, burritos, and breakfast plates that's about all, but they do it extremely well. I understand this is a local hot spot with the majority of the customers being locals and traveling yelpers. Price was fair and portion was large, however it was just "bleh" in my book. Salsa that was included helped, but the chorizo wasn't that spicy. Meat and Eggs combined weren't very seasoned. I think it is a nice experience just a bit over-hyped by the local yelp community.
