great small business owned by this one guy. we got sandwiches here, but i highly recommend the tri tip sandwich. bread was perfectly toasted and dressed, the meat was tender, and the veggies were fresh. perfect fuel for mountain adventures to follow. i really liked the crispy and tender french fries as well!

Great little gem in Bishop! We had the tri-tip sandwich and it was delicious. The meat was nice and tender. Came with a side of fries and slaw. The owner Manual is a sweetheart, and it was great chatting with him and getting to know his story.

This speakeasy of a sandwich joint is a little hard to see, but worth searching out. Luckily, once you find it, you don't have to knock 3 times and whisper "rutabaga" to the beefy doorman to get inside. A sign off the Academy Street entrance might help. If you do enter this way, walk through the dining room and to the left to order. Now that you've solved the first puzzle of this escape room, order a delicious sandwich. Fresh ingredients and delicious panini grilled rolls will greet you. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich that was on special. This was made with real pieces of grilled chicken and was perfectly dressed. Not whiz bang sauces or toppings, but good solid ingredients. Prices were totally reasonable and service was friendly. Definitely a good place to stop if you are driving through Bishop. Unless you live in Bishop, which means you probably know everyone who works at this place.

A real hole in the wall in downtown Bishop, Bronco's Deli is a great place for a quick, inexpensive lunch. From Americanized carne asada or carnitas burritos and various wraps to burgers and a myriad of sandwiches, Bronco's has something for everyone. Filling without being heavy, the chicken Caesar wrap ($10) comes with fries and a drink. Fresh and delicious, the chicken salad ($9.50) is perked up with the addition of dried cranberries and raspberries. Service is super-friendly and reasonably fast. There's inside seating as well as a few tables outside. Pro tips: Bronco's is not just a lunch spot; it's also open for breakfast. Bronco's Deli is cash only, so hit an ATM before your visit. If you are passing through Bishop and in need of some food, Bronco's is a good bet.

We always like to support small businesses when we are traveling. Bronco's Deli is a hidden gem. We got the club sandwich and the tri tip sandwich - delicious. Service was quick & the owner/cook/server was very pleasant. Will definitely be stopping here again.

Don't let the quiet little corner deter you from this gem. Stopped in for lunch and had excellent food. The tomato bisque soup is amazing. The pastrami is the perfect blend of spices and lean that packs a pleasant flavor. Homemade bread and very nice service. So fresh and relaxing! read more

We were looking for a quick lunch on our drive home from South Lake Tahoe and I found this deli online. I'm so happy we stopped. The sandwiches were so good. Loved the Bronco deli! Had a small roast beef sandwich! It's huge ! They panini it too. Great bread, fresh ingredients! Way better then the rip off Schat's bakery. Bronco staff was welcoming and smiling! Schats treats you like garbage! Loved their side of potato salad. They make it homemade. Not like others who buy bulk crappy pre made salad. Girlfriend-had a chicken salad . Asked if they could put it in a wrap! They did it with a smile. I go to bishop once a year! My new go to sandwich place! They also do Mexican food! Looked and smelled awesome! Give them your business! They deserve it ! read more

This was a last minute choice after driving around for about 20 min trying to find parking for the other more happening places at Bishop. Happy that we came here, the food was nice and fresh, customer service was excellent and felt welcome. Would definitely come back here if we happen to camp near. read more

Started our day of climbing with amazing breakfast burritos. (Definitely add potatoes and cheese). The salsa is ama-zing. The eggs were fluffy and moist, the warm bundle encased in a delicate flour tortilla. Coffee was nothing less than rich. We ordered 2 sammies for takeout which I am salivating for. We stopped for lunch on the way to Tahoe. Service was fast and friendly and the sandwiches were made with quality ingredients and freshly baked bread, which was delicious. We appreciated the air conditioned dining area since it was 97 degrees outside. We rated this place 5 stars for the food but 4 stars overall due to the ambience. If we were going to stop here again, we would get our sandwiches to go and have a picnic at the darling park just down the road! read more

After 4 days of mammoths mediocre overpriced food this place was a breath of fresh air! So good! Fresh sandwiches and soup, delicious breakfast burritos and salsa, potato salad really good!! The other reviews are on the money! The Bronco Deli did not disappoint! The portions are huge! A half sandwich equals a whole sandwich at other places! The homemade minestrone soup was amazing with lots of flavor and the sandwich was a perfect combo with it. Prices were more then reasonable for what you get (it's a steal to be honest for the amount of food you get). Everything is fresh and homemade and you can taste it in every bite. We will definitely be coming back here whenever we are in town! read more

We really enjoyed this lil sandwich shop. The lil building nicely painted and the inside clean. The bread, meats, and vegies were fresh. I highly recommend getting your sandwich toasted. Yummo! The best sandwich shop in town! Raymond's was the go-to spot and they closed their doors. We had a huge void that needed to be filled and along comes Bronco's Deli. Just off Main Street, with plenty of seating and parking; I cannot say enough about this place. I am impressed. read more

The mac and cheese was just Kraft! it was so gross, if you are going ot have this on your menu make a better mac and cheese. Sandwiches were huge! Half order is a normal 6" sub size and a whole sandwhich is almost a foot long. read more

Great for sandwiches or even just toasted with whatever spread that floats your boat. Versatile and superb. Another thing to note: this place is fully staffed and they have their stuff together. Now they said they only have a 4 day price of $160. It's not my fault that your employee didn't take the reservation correctly and you apparently don't care about honoring it either. We are returning customers and thank goodness I called to confirm or would show up this mess. Better customer service is needed especially when dealing with the manager.

It's like the traditional cinnamon roll's raunchy cousin. - Pastrami sandwich - 10/10: good lord this is delicious. Easily top 5 sandwiches I've ever had. Hefty and filling for sure. The meat isn't your run-of-the-mill, dry, salty pastrami that you'll get at your local deli. They use premium naval cuts that are lightly seasoned, juicy, fatty, and super tender. The Swiss is also soft and spongy, very similar to mozzarella. You'd be satisfied just eating this by itself. And the rye bread is artisinal elite level, as expected. Freshly baked and super soft. So damn good I nearly SCHAT my pants!! - Original Sheepherder Bread - 8.5/10: 100-plus year-old recipe. Tried and true. Great for sandwiches or even just toasted with whatever spread that floats your boat. Versatile and superb. Another thing to note: this place is fully staffed and they have their stuff together. So ordering and getting your stuff goes pretty fast even with the long lines. Super efficient, friendly staff and establishment. A great time was had by all.

Though I ordered a cheese burger tonight I was amazed by the numerous entrées that were available including lamb chops, mahi-mahi, prime rib and sirloin steaks of various sizes. We finished with a slice of carrot cake which once again was picture perfect and was honestly one of the best tasting carrot cakes I've had. Their dessert menu was almost just as impressive as their entree menu- so many choices. We will certainly be back when we visit Bishop again! Thank you for a delightful meal and dessert!

It was juicy, cooked perfectly, and every bite was delicious. The curly fries were crispy and seasoned just right. This was honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. Great food, generous portions, and well worth it. If you're in Bishop, do yourself a favor and give it a try--I'll definitely be back.

I got mapo tofu as my meal, which I appreciate that they have a vegetarian option because other places often have this in the vegetable section but then you order it and there's pork or something in it. Their menu specifically has one that comes with pork and one that doesn't. I do wish it automatically came with rice and you didn't have to order the rice as a side, but these are just little critiques. I honestly loved the food, service and ambiance. Lastly, I like the bathroom sink (I'm a sucker for nice elements in a bathroom). Great option in Bishop!

Half of the space functions as a market selling fresh produce, snacks, and essentials. The other half is a fast casual set up where you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. We ordered: -bean and cheese burrito ($11) -2 asada tacos ($3.75 each): topped with onions and cilantro That bean and cheese burrito with the spicy red salsa slapped. I felt like the ratio was a little bean heavy, but I didn't mind because the beans had plenty of flavor. The carne asada tacos were quite good as well. The meat had a nice char and the tacos are generously heaped with carne. I think the most surprising element of Crearee is their outdoor dining space. The restaurant is located off the road parallel to the main drag in Bishop. The patio area has plenty of seating with ambient music playing in the background. It's a relaxing pit stop before you head off into the wilderness. Crearee is worth a stop whether you're in need of a meal meal or just a snack.

The lady at the cashier keeps ignoring me and sister because we are not white. No any smile nor greeting and say Hi to the other group behind us. It was proven when my brother in law who is White guy approached the counter and she said Hi to him. I love to support local business but not this one.
