An influencer whose name is posted all around was the reason I got the next dumplings I ordered and I hate to say this but IMHO, the Korean dumplings were trash. The exterior of the dumplings were tough and the filling didn't taste like anything Korean I've had before and I eat a lot of Korean food. We ordered a bunch of other things and everyone was displeased with the food. Not sure if we came on a bad night, came too late at night or what, and I say this as I know there is a kiosk however my kinfolk that went in to order didn't know as it was her first time and she stood at the counter waiting for someone, as none of the employees engaged with her. After her standing there for a while, they finally informed her about the kiosk. I had high hopes as KL had put his stamp of approval on it, but this was a fail.

We first found this place on the mimosa walk. So we had to stop to try a few dumplings with time this time. Our favorite was the Wagyu fried. The staff is friendly and gives great suggestions. Will definitely have to come back to try more especially the apple pie dumpling.

About: Brooklyn Dumpling Shop was born of the idea that classic diner staples and sandwiches are more as dumplings. There is more variety with more delicious flavors! Brooklyn Dumpling opened their first location in 2021 to share their passion for creating crave-worthy dishes and to bring their favorite flavor bites to their unrivaled fusion dumplings, fresh bowls, and more--all while ushering in a new era of fast-casual hospitality through a technology-forward experience and easy 100% digital ordering. The food is served in an Automat, keeping guests and employees happy and safe! When the guest's food is ready, they'll receive a unique QR code on their phone that opens their locker. Things We Liked: Firecracker Bowl - Tempura chicken shrimp and veggies tossed in creamy and spicy bada-bang sauce served over lo mein. First off, open late when a lot of Deep Ellum has shut down already. Huge plus. I loved so many things on the menu I just had to try lots. Its clean and well lit a nice little spot. I got a side of their waffle fries which were hot, salty, and divine. I chose the classic mix and match of pork, chicken/scallion, and waygu beef, pan seared and delicious. But the Mac and cheese fusion dumpling....oh my goodness out of this world. The chicken parm was honestly my least favorite and just didnt shine like the rest. Rounded out with the dragonflies berry lemonade which while tasty had a slightly coying flavor as an aftertaste.

A stop on the Mimosa Walk; my daughter and I decided to try some dumplings. Orders are placed at the counter and drinks are self serve. We split fried Wagyu beef and steamed Bok Choy Ginger dumplings. The employee recommended the Wagyu beef fried rather than steamed; excellent choice; both were delicious!! We will have to come back to try a protein bowl and the Apple Pie dumplings.

The food was great. The hibachi noodles were so flavorful. I haven't had fried dumplings before but they were delicious. We ordered online and delivery was fast. Definitely would order again. It was a ghost kitchen that stay open until 3 am

This place is so fun! We came here as a part of the Deep Ellum Mimosa walk. They had free mimosas(with a heavy pour) and the BEST waygu beef dumplings in Dallas! Easy access with multiple parking lots around. Workers had so much energy and were fun to talk too!

The food here is amazing. It has great quick street food that you could pick up and eat if you're out with friends and it's located next to all the bar so it's a good location, friendly staff. It has a nice atmosphere and a beautiful playlist playing while you're eating more of a rhythm and blues vibe. Sean P. He had taken my order and his hospitality was amazing. I definitely will come back to the spot. I enjoy the food and I love the people. Good looks

I ordered the crispy wagyu beef potstickers priced at $8, and it was delicious! They also serve drinks and alcoholic beverages. There are self order kiosks to order your food. Nice ambiance.

Absolutely the best dumplings you can find day or night in Deep Ellum! Make sure to stop by!

These are the best dumplings you can find day or late night in Deep Ellum! Please come check them out and see why they do not stop!

Quick and tasty dumplings. I had the wagyu in spicy broth. The broth was good spicy and I added chili oil and a little soy to add some extra flavor. I recommend doing a combo and getting the lo mein side. The lo mein was a good portion, had veggies, and was cooked well. Adding some chili oil and/or soy adds to it too! The shop is pretty small but has an automat vibe (it wasn't working when we came though). Service is quick, so if you want a quick bite, this is a pretty good option.

I stopped by this place for a quick bite. It was palatable...one of the staff had to help me with the kiosk order machine so the service was good. The food was okay, not too memorable. I hadn't eaten all day, so I was HANGRY. Lastly, I liked the environment. It was cool, trendy and clean. I'm unsure of I would recommend this place.

Found this restaurant through one of the Dallas Influencer pages on IG. We were in the area and thought to stop by! Firstly, this is not an automated restaurant like the post made it seem (I was skeptical, but it's just disingenuous marketing). You order at a kiosk, and when your food is ready, you pick it up at the counter (someone will call your name). I believe if you have a pick up order, it will be in one of the lockers. Very casual establishment! The restaurant is small, but there are a handful of tables (large and small). Now back to the food! I didn't come here with high expectations because I knew the dumplings and bowls would not be "traditional". However, I will say that I appreciated the unique fusions the restaurant had on their take to dumplings! We ordered the sample variety (~12 dumplings) to try 3 different flavors: lemongrass, pork and cabbage, and buffalo chicken. The Buffalo chicken dumplings reminded me of calzones lol! Anyway, they were all pretty good! We also ordered an orange chicken rice bowl to share between us. Overall, it was good!

The food came out piping hot and super fast, within 5 minutes our table was full of dishes! We were a small party so we only tried some dishes: Shu Mai, Shrimp Har Gow (eh), Chicken Feet, Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, Baked BBQ Pork Buns, Soup Dumplings, Fried Shrimp Balls, and Tofu Pudding for dessert. The stars of the show were the siu mai, the Baked BBQ Pork Buns and the Steamed BBQ Pork Buns. The siu mai was packed with fillings and it was so good, might be the best one I've ever had. The Baked buns were good but the buns might be a little too heavy. However, the steamed buns were so airy, light, and fluffy. I've never seen a bun that fluffy, it was like touching a cloud. It was still good when we reheated it at home, too! My boyfriend also loved the chicken feet, it was packed with flavor and very juicy. On the other hand, the soup dumplings were okay they didn't have any soup in them. The shrimp har gow wrapper was really thick, making it not as good. The tofu pudding was delicious. It's silken tofu with sweet ginger syrup, usually served with chewy balls but they didn't have that here. It was served hot and it was my childhood so I had to get it :) It looked like a lot of food but the bill came out to be around $50+, which wasn't bad given that we had a lot of leftovers for the day. I would definitely come back here!

It felt like your standard Cantonese restaurant with mediocre food. Service: 3/5 - it was again good, but not great. Nothing to complain or rave about Ambiance: 4/5 - it was clean, huge dining space, and noise level wasn't too bad during dinner time. Overall, we had no wait and was sat at a table with a lazy Susan.

In the bathroom products by the bar boxes and products. Huge piles of just junk. The food. I ordered the Peking duck. It came with a duck soup. The soup wasn't hot, not even warm. The Peking duck with accoutrements wasn't any better. The veggies were limp as if they had been sitting out all morning uncovered. The pancakes were very dry and lukewarm. But they got progressively colder. Last third of the basket was ice cold. The duck, was not hot. It also wasn't freshly made. It had been sitting out. It didn't have the crispy snap skin should have. It was super greasy. And because it was cool that grease was just sitting on the skin like a second coating. I paid but ate nothing. I won't be back and don't recommend.
