I've been here for eight months visiting/helping take care of my mother and her husband. 92 and 95 years old. I had to stop at a bank that's not near the place 'm living in Georgetown at the moment and it's Brooklyn Heights pizzeria. What an awesome place more than that the service they have is a wonderful selection of happy hour items as well as food for anytime. I was fortunate enough to get a waitress by the name of. Kirsten; she alone deserves a five star applause. The items I chose for happy hour were fabulous. I understand it is a family owned and operated business and they definitely do it right so much better than chain restaurants so if you're out looking for a good place to eat and wonderful employees as well as a sports bar being really awesome you should give this place a shot for sure Kirsten was very attentive and kind. I will definitely go out of my way to come here again while I'm staying here in Texas. read more

We've eaten at the Leander location plenty of times, but decided to give this location a visit one night after work. It's tucked away in the shopping center so it can be easy to miss, but overall a great spot for pizza, wings, and drinks. Decent sized bar in the front of the restaurant, and then most of the seating is in the back. Pizza was good-I'd say slightly better than what we've had at the Leander location. Food came out fairly quickly and service was just ok. They have a wide variety of food items on the menu so there is something for everyone. We will be visiting again. read more

Disappointed, but I'm from Chicago so maybe I expected too much in Austin. I would t say it's a great example of a Brooklyn Pie or a Chicago Pie either. This place is incredible! I've heard everything is bigger in Texas so coming from California to have my first meal here with these giant pizza slices was amazing. The pizza crust was thin and crispy and the toppings were plentiful. We got pizza, pasta & meatballs, the garlic knot bread and even some cocktails. Very friendly & efficient service. The prices were extremely reasonable and there was plenty of parking out front. They even had a nice patio for dining in the back of the restaurant outside. Do yourself a favor and head to Dominos or papa Johns rather than this place, they make better pizza for half price what you pay here. This review is only for there pizza. We had tried Brooklyn Heights couple of years back and we dint like it. But post pandemic we thought of giving it another try as it's in our neighborhood. we wanted to like this place as it's close by and would've been convenient option. Oh God! Pizza was so disappointing, we ordered large pizza with chicken and jalapeños to go, we placed the order over phone and it was ready at the said time. Sauce on the pizza had no flavors at all, the only thing I could taste was rawness of tomatoes, store bought sauce would've been far better. It wasn't cheesy, cheese dint even tasted fresh, pizza chains like domino's or papa Johns use better cheese than this, quality wise and quantity wise. We went I. Just for the pizzas in a weekday. There wasn't any wait. It's a very casual pizza joint with attentive staff. They do half and half on their pizzas - fyi! We found the portion sizes to be quite big for a family of 3! We ordered 2 pies and we had tonnes of leftovers, not that we complained about it :). I saw this place the other day and thought I needed to check it out. So last night I stopped and ordered. The place is more like a bar/resturant and looks kind of cool inside. However, since there is Covid still I just ordered to go and went back and waited in my car. The cashier said it would take 20 minutes. I got a large combo and it was delicious. It was so filling too. I hate to admit but I had 3 large slices and couldn't move afterwards. I froze the rest for lunch this week. By the way they have pizza by the slice, medium size and super sized! Brooklyn Heights has delivery and curbside pick up too. They do have indoor dining and sell alcohol. I'm not sure about outdoor dining. Additionally their menu has other choices then pizza and currently they have a lunch special from 11 to 3. The prices are reasonable as well. Their delivery is done by doordash. For curbside ordering and pick up you can call 512-238-8889. My experience at this location was decent. I called ahead and spoke to several people. Very nice friendly host. When we arrived, this was the 2nd spot for my sons birthday. Calamari was over cooked, the kids seemed to enjoy the pizza a lot. Our server seemed has if he wanted to avoid us. My issue is we're given a bill and after running my card they added $30 in a tip. Unacceptable. Beware of coming in a large party. They will charge you without even telling you. I called and the manger said I would see a refund. I have yet to see it. This is a good local spot for a laid-back atmosphere to enjoy some seriously big pizza. There were lots of families inside enjoying dinner after various sporting events, TVs playing March Madness, and many tables of groups having a good time. I can't comment on how authentic it is compared to its namesake, but I very much enjoyed the Combo pizza and garlic knots we ordered. Our server was friendly and attentive; our drinks were never empty and the food came out quick enough, but to where you could still tell it was made fresh. Love this place! Everything we've tried is amazing. My favorite is the pepperoni rolls, my kids love the giant slices of pizza, my husband loves the wings. The queso is great, as well as the fries, & the ranch is fantastic! We've shared a few different pizzas and always love them too. They also make the best house margarita by far! This has got to be the WORST on customer service. With the food not even being that great, they should at least try to make their customers happy. They "misplaced" my phone order-probably bc the girl was not even taking the time to put it in. Then totally denied ever having it, rather than taking any responsibility. When I asked to talk to the manager, Jake, I could hear him in the background saying-I don't have time For that. How did he even get a manager job? That's not how you treat your customers. The pizza they serve is really pretty dang good. The chicken wings are delicious and you have to try their nachos. Chips & Queso: 1/10 Am I some negative nancy that blasts restaurants for outlier cases? I don't think so. The chips were your basic, restaurant quality homemade chips - which is a good thing. The "Queso" was something like canned Rico's nacho sauce. The stuff you get at a baseball game, or a movie theater. I wouldn't call that "Queso" in the sense that most people are used to; it was just nacho cheese and chips for $7.00 Pickle chips: 7/10 Big thick slices. You're dang near eating pre-pickled cucumber slices they're so big. The breading was unique, the sauce was pretty tasty too. I'd order these again, although a piece of parchment paper as the base of the styrofoam tray would be ok, instead of a piece of iceberg lettuce where the moisture is messing with the breading. Tenders: Can't rate Wife at all of these without complaint, so I can't really comment on them. Overall we spent upwards of 75$ on a cafeteria pizza, baseball game nachos, great pickle chips and some tendies. I couldn't recommend this place even if the pizza were half-off. My wife took a look at the pizza the following day to see if we could maybe toss it in the air fryer or oven to crisp it up and have the leftovers (over half the pizza), and it wasn't even worth the attempt. Put in an order, and when I get home, I realize that they forgot the meatball sub, the fries, the pepperoni rolls. I go back, to get my stuff. Let me tell you that Friday Night is NOT the time to try this place. When I arrived, BF had already got there and put us on the wait list. They told him it would be 45 minutes that was 15 minutes before. I sit outside with him for 10 minutes in the triple digits temperature. I couldn't take the heat any more so I went inside to check. The hostess said it would be 20 more minutes, unless we want to sit in the back room. I'll take it! Next time I won't, that is where I was surrounded by families with kids, lots and lots and lots of kids: running, screaming, walking around with pizza in their hands. It was so loud that I couldn't even hold a conversation. A waitress finally asked for our order. BF had a beer and I had a cherry martini, I believe. I don't remember because it was so sweet and no taste of alcohol. We also ordered off the Happy Hour menu, these were our picks: Mama's meatballs, Bruschetta, Hot & Crunchy shrimp Mama's Meatballs - Three meatballs on a dish covered with sauce. They were tender but too much bread filling. They also needed the sauce because without they were bland. After having these, I realized how much I miss Dom's meatballs. Bruschetta - Five thin slices of toasted Italian bread piled high with diced tomatoes and garlic. The bread was dry. The tomato/Garlic mix was way too heavy on the garlic. I prefer when they put the toppings on the side for me to put on the bread. Hot & Crunchy Shrimp - Fried crunchy shrimp with a spicy mango dipping sauce. Finally have a winner. These were good. We were both still hungry but my head was pounding from the noise and sickly sweet drink. So, no slice of pizza or dessert. I may come back to try the pizza if I can find when they aren't so packed. read more

Austin pizza is simply terrible, no matter if it's New York-style, New Jersey-style, or Chicago-style. That being said, Brooklyn Heights is average when compared to other Austin pizza places. Pros - the individual slices are quite large and reasonably priced. It would be a good place for a group who are not super picky about their pizza. They are open until midnight with last call at 11:30, making this a decent late night spot when one has the munchies. There are numerous TVs, so it's a good place for a drink & watching sports, etc. Cons - the service was so-so; not terrible, not great. I didn't like the pizza, but I'm not most people when it comes to pizza, so I will give it an average rating. I would go back if my friends wanted to go, but I would try something other than pizza. read more

The land of Pizza joints in Texas never ceases to dissapoint me. This place does have one thing going for it... and its the $2.50 GIANT slice of pizza... seriously, if you order just one slice of pizza, its about the size of a whole medium pizza anywhere else you would go. But, on the more thin side, with ingredients that aren't really all that tasty though. Ordered a slice of pepperoni and jalapenos, and a cheese calzone.The slice itself needed fresher ingredients in my opinion and a higher quality cheese could be used, the calzone was a decent size and about 3 inches in height, comes with a side of fries or pasta salad, your choice. The calzone needed to be cooked a little more thoroughly, with certain areas of the dough tasting raw. This place has a pretty good size bar area if you want to catch a game with a ton of TV's, but the service from our waitress left a lot to be desired, specially on a night when there were only a few tables being occupied by customers. I only saw her twice, and went several minutes for a beverage refill. All and all, this place is way far North of a drive for me to ever go back for a second chance. read more
