We tried for the first time yesterday. The pizza is pretty basic. We got pepperoni, and it basically tasted like skating rink pizza. Not bad, but just lacks some flavor. The slice is huge though. The wings and garlic bites were both really good. The sweet tea wasn't bad either. Service was fine, but nothing spectacular.

Okay, so I am from New York and New Jersey, and I can honestly say, finding good pizza outside the tri-state area is pretty difficult. As far as good pizza goes, Brooklyn Pizzeria does it. Their pizza is a great size, has good dough, and is topped with a good sauce. We usually ask for it to be a little well done because sometimes it can be a little floppy. However I must say, this is the best pizza in the area if you are looking for genuine pizza and not the fake stuff from dominos, papa John's, or Marcos. Also their cannolis would rival those of Ferrara's in little Italy. Really they are delicious! Now my complaints, their restaurant is located in a run down shopping center in spring lake, at the far end of an empty parking lot, and at times it's difficult to get them to answer the phone to place your order. Overall, the best pizza and cannolis in the area!

Mouthwatering meatball subs, large single slices, addicting iced tea! May be a bit of wait if you go at peak hours- totally worth it.

GF is from Philly and said this reminded her of the pizza she ate there as a child. Ended up going cause I refused to take my daughter to Little Caesars for the 100th time. We get there, order, and are told there's a 45min to hour wait. That didn't bother me at all. Walked around for a bit and everything was ready in 25. The crust had a nice chew to it. Garlic knots LOOKED super dense but were light, fluffy, and flavorful. Didn't like the marinara that came with it but that's just me. Next time we want pizza I'm coming here

Huge slices like I had in New York!

Excellent pizza, very reasonably priced. They just need some more delivery drivers. Delivery was very slow almost 2 hrs

Very good NY-style thin crust pizza - worthy of 4 stars. The rest of the food was average at best. A great $2.50 slice of pizza.

My child has a service dog. Not a pet but an Actual Service Animal that is trained the Dog wears a bright pink vest/ harness with very large and clear patches that say Service Animal. In the past it has never been an issue. While sitting at the table she usually goes inder the table and my kids chair. Never makes a sound Her focus is always on my kid and nothing else. Tonight we walked in and was met with an awkward stare from behind the counter. We didn't even make it 3 feet in. I said hello. I asked if it were a problem. That we have been here before and never had an issue. His response was for him He had an issue. I replied she is a Service Dog. He repeated that he had an issue with it. Not want to create a scene and cause more stress for my kid we left. while we were leaving I heard a woman say to her husband, it says service animal. What I can not believe is that this is a Military Veteran and Active Duty community. We are not the only ones here with a disability. It's a shame. While we love the food I will not ever be going back

Twisted Grape was selected for a birthday celebration based on our previous experiences. Family members drove from Cary and Southern Pines to have dinner together. Order for four (4) drinks and four (4) meals placed- Thirty (30 minutes) later NO drinks and NO meals. Reataurant/bar was not busy (25% occupancy). No rational reason for what transpired next. After - (1) salad , order of nachos and 1 beer brought to table. No other drinks for other 3 guests at the table. Fifteen minutes later still NOTHING.... When Manager and server questioned wrong drink orders arrived at table but NO food . Remember this was a birthday dinner! When food finally came out- steak was over-cooked -medium versus medium rare, salmon was dry and wrong sides delivered., broccoli was "mush" and ranch dressing for wings was consistency of milk. Disgusting. Finally, had new server, Channah stepped up and took charge.trying to remedy this nightmare. Manager should be fired!!!! Channah prevented us walking out of the door. Totally unacceptable and preventable occurrence. Whomever owns Twisted Grape establishment - take action before all customers have to experience Feel free to contact us - we would all happily provide additional comments and insight.

The food is NOT good or "authentic" enough to refuse adding ricotta to the top of my pizza.. or justify the whack restaurant hours. The bruschetta was very bland and looked like my toddler threw it together. I couldn't even manage to bite into anything but plain, limp bread because everything was falling off. However, it somehow wasn't as bad as their arancini, which I would accredit to the work of a school lunch chef. Overcooked. Looked and tasted like something processed and frozen, then reheated. The only credit they deserve is that they own a wood--fired oven; except my pizza was stone cold biting into it, because they let it sit out while I was on the way. To top it all off, a tiramisu! Which, I didn't know could be screwed up until today. Wet, gelatinous in some layers, and the sweetness was odd. Tasted like erythritol or some sugar replacement. Ciao!! But I will not be returning again.
