This is about the third time Brooklyn Pizza has failed me there was the eggplant Fiasco with eggplant sandwich had oil and vinegar on it my vegetable lasagna was nothing but left over pizza toppings big chunks of broccoli black olives and mushrooms very little sauce some noodles thrown around topped with cheese not appealing then I personally called the store and ordered a taco Pizza I did not want ground beef so I asked the person can they make the pizza with grilled chicken they told me yes they would charge me for more dollars but when I got the pizza the taco sauce with made with ground beef I don't eat beef instead of telling me they couldn't do it they went ahead and I specifically said to the person the last line of our call was please don't put any beef what do I get beef it goes against my diet for medical reasons read more

On a recent trip to NCY, we chose to stay outside of Newark and avail ourselves of public transport for the bulk of our time in the area. A mere three blocks from our hotel was Brooklyn Pizza with a menu so voluminous that it had me doubtful of their ability to deliver a good pizza. Well, it turned out I was right - they didn't deliver a good pizza - they delivered a GREAT pizza, quite possibly the best I've ever had, anywhere. The crust was perfect and held its own to support the excellent toppings - it was everything I'd always imagined a NY pizza to be, but better. Absolutely delighted with my regular slice. They had plenty of options to choose from, and the hotel nearby is in great proximity for their delivery. I went and ate in Brooklyn pizza in Irvington once and it was one delicious pizza! Tonight, on Saturday night, I ordered cheese pizza and those little danish kind of things using postmates as a delivery service. It took 1,5h to get my order and once it arrived pizza was not even warm and danish things was rubbery. I live 10 min away. This place had decent reviews and pictures. 30MIN LATER, I get a notification from seamless saying the restaurant cancelled due to being "outside delivery zone", which under normal circumstances I can understand. But WHY DID IT TAKE YOU OVER 30MIN TO REALIZE THIS?! I could have already gotten my pizza from somewhere else! Total crap, I can't believe you'd treat a customer so carelessly. Ordered food online, said it would be here at 7:30pm, nope 8:05pm. The guy had my pizza in an open pizza bag, he was just carrying my two cheese steaks. Now let's talk cheese steak subs. I had plenty of problems ordering from this establishment. Reading is fundamental. Many times I would place and order verbatim. Many times the order came the way they want to make it. Who puts mayonnaise on an " Italian Hotdog!" especially after expressing no mayo. When I called the number through grubhub I kept getting hung up on, after my first inquiry regarding my order. So I went online to get another number, and the rude person answering did not identify the place and when I asked if this is Brooklyn pizza they rudely answered yes and when I told them I have been waiting a very long time, she says well you're not the only one! Ha!! So now at 8:30p, I cancelled my order since it has not showed up. Not to mention they came by about 7:30 pm with only half the order! So no one got pizza, just some dry fried wings with no sauce. Never again. The Oranges in Jersey desperately need a good pizza spot. I would give this place a zero. read more

It's either the sauce for the calamari is missing, they put onions on the salad when we say no onions or the driver gives in an entirely different order. So disappointing! Zero stars! Ordered delivery, waited several hours for a pizza when the place is 5 min away. Had to call 7 times asking where it was and was told it was on it's way- when it wasn't. Finally was delivered a cold pizza, realized this when opening it inside and called again. Was told another one would come in 45 mins. It never came. We drove to the pizza place and asked for a refund for the 8 cut "large" pizza ($18.25). We were told on the phone that we could come over and get a new pizza. We were not given a refund or a new pizza like promised, just a bitchy attitude. Not once did they apologize! Bad customer service all around and terrible work ethic.
