Pasta night on Wednesdays. Love their calzones! Steaks are top quality meat, but I order rare to get my preferred medium rare. Live music six nights a week. starting @ 6:00 or 7:00, varied genres. With dedicated nights for jazz, blues, rock, country, Americana, and rock. Service is very friendly but not the most efficient.

Shout out to the ladies working who gave great service even though a 60th birthday was starting. Unknown if the birthday man is related to brother don but i think so! Food was very good and we both finished our plates. Limited bar seating but plenty of restaurant style seating. Yearbooks from the 1970's plus a a storyline about don by the door. Theres a big screen tv over the main area and a few smaller tvs over the bar plus pull tabs. Recommend stopping by. We are glad we did, our original plan was to go to the dugout but it was randomly closed. Pleasant surprise

Friendly staff, good music, excellent food. I seated myself at the bar and the bartender seated me almost as soon as I sat down and got me a drink. She was busy taking orders to other tables so it took a few minutes for me to place my food order, not too long though. The food was as advertised and as good as everyone said in the reviews. The calamari was cooked to perfection. The shrink was awesome. The fries were just right; not too soft and not crispy. The fish though...slightly soggy...tasted amazing though. And the slaw didn't need any salt. I'll be back for certain.

The love music was fun. We had food and drinks. The service was hard to judge, they were busy, not the friendliest staff, felt a little put off by this. Ate nachos, chili cheese burger, fish and chips and hot wings. The food was tasty!! Not sure I'd go back on a busy night.

Expired hot sauce three times now!…read more I was here a few months back and their hot sauce bottle had green clumps in it... they gave me a new bottle which was nice, but I came back today and once again, they had green clumps in their franks red hot... I asked the waiter for a replacement and he brought me ANOTHER bottle that was mostly full, however it had the green clumps in it too! Its best by date was back in July... Im not sure how theyre storing these things but ive been using franks red hot for years and never see green clumps in it. On top of all that, the waiter brings me his ipad for me to pay, and after I pay he sets the ipad down right in front of me with the minimum tip being 20%... I felt kind of uncomfortable knowing he is staring behind me, I changed the tip to 10% and said thanks and he walked away without even responding. Holy water please take a look at your hot sauce and change the minimum tip to something lower, you shouldn't participate in the toxic tipping culture that puts the onus on your patrons to pay your workers 20 percent as a minimum. Besides that the food is amazing.

The sweetness of the mango paired with the saltiness of the tofu was actually perfect, but the bell peppers stood out too much flavor-wise since they tasted watery and under-seasoned. My husband got the peanut waffles and said they were difficult to eat because the waffles were super thick and most of the peanut sauce was concentrated in the middle. I think a lighter peanut sauce would've balanced everything out much better. Overall, if you're really into fresh, ingredient-focused food, this may be the place for you -- it just wasn't my personal cup of tea :) I also wanted to note that the service and overall design of the place were phenomenal, and I'm honestly sad it didn't work out for me because it would make such a perfect study spot.

A True 1950s Diner Experience! Highly Recommended!…read more We visited the Red Apple Diner in Bremerton with our after-wedding party of 13 people for brunch, and it exceeded our expectations. Despite our large group, they accommodated everyone comfortably and provided outstanding service from start to finish. The diner completely embraces the classic 1950s era. From the décor and booths to the music and nostalgic atmosphere, it truly feels like you've stepped back in time. The restaurant was also exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient. They handled our large group's orders with ease, kept drinks refilled, and delivered everyone's meals quickly. Our table ordered a variety of dishes including bacon and eggs, sausage and eggs, Oregon French toast, chicken and waffles, and a Reuben sandwich. Every meal looked fantastic, the portions were generous, and everything was cooked perfectly. The standout for us was the French Toast, which was easily some of the best French toast we've ever had at any diner. The chicken and waffles were excellent, and the Reuben was packed with flavor. The cheeseburger was juicy and delicious (although I personally would have skipped the grilled onions). One unique surprise was the recommended potato chip fries that came with the burger. They were thick cut, freshly made, and unlike any chips I've had before, dense chip shaped fries without being overly hard. Prices were very reasonable, with most meals around $20 or less, making it an excellent value for the quality and generous portions. Overall, the Red Apple Diner delivered fantastic food, outstanding service, a fun nostalgic atmosphere, and a memorable experience. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the Bremerton area. Five stars, two big thumbs up, and highly recommended!

The waiter with black hair simply told us to "just sit anywhere," even though all of the available tables were covered in dirty dishes from previous customers. We ended up sitting down at a dirty table, and they tried to take our order w/o wiping down the table, I had to ask for the dishes to be removed and for the table to be wiped down. Overall, the restaurant looked pretty filthy. The wait for our food was very long, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. There were also no prices listed on the menu, which I found strange. That being said, once we received the check, I didn't think it was particularly expensive. The portions were on the smaller side, though, and the food itself was heavily lacking. Overall, between the cleanliness, lack of service, long wait, and cold food, it was a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
