My husband and I have eaten here twice. The first time we ate there, he was throwing up that night. We thought he had come down with the flew or something. Recently had brunch with my parents at this location on a whim; they were busy but the staff was pleasant and the service was fast. We were able to be seated immediately. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and my parents had biscuits and gray and an omelette. All three dishes were large quantities and piping hot. Everything tasted great and made great leftovers. Tried Brothers for the first time this evening. Service was warm, very friendly and quick. We both ordered basic burgers and a caesar salad. Burgers were delicious and cooked to our specifications and the fries were well done, as requested. Most diner-type restaurants serve commercial salad dressings. Their dressing was fresh and homemade. We were a bit concerned as the place was empty when we arrived. Can't wait to go back for breakfast! Good job, Brothers! read more

Wow, a hidden gem! I got the scramble with potatoes and a biscuit. The potatoes were actually crispy (something you don't often find at breakfast places) and the biscuit was buttery, light and flaky. Everything was superb including the service, even as the employees had to patiently deal with a rude customer near my table. The restaurant is next to the freeway but the skylights bring in lots of natural light that make the dining room feel bright and welcoming. I will be back! read more

The staff is very attentive and makes sure you have what you need and more. It's a very comfortable place where I would feel at ease bringing the family.In fact it feels like the staff may well include a number of family members. Lucky for us Brothers is in our neighborhood. We wanted to try this new restaurant as we had enjoyed the previous restaurant. Foolishly, perhaps, we both ordered dishes that included lox. Have no idea where they got the lox, but it was by far the worst lox I have ever had. I order a lox omelet (deconstructed). My partner ordered a benedict dish with lox. VERY, VERY Disappointed. The sauce for the benedict was not done well. Serve was good but OVERLY attentive. If we try it again, we will stick to plain dishes. Again, perhaps foolish to think that a diner could do a more elaborate dish well. read more

I yelped a place for lunch in Santa Rosa. This place had a 4.9 out of 5 stars, way better than anywhere else. Now I know why. This place was fantastic! The beet salad was delicious and very large for only $14. I asked for more cheese, and a side of cheese came right away with no extra charge. The short rib sliders were only $9 and so tender and flavorful, and they were made with this amazing really soft and fresh delicious brioche bread. The service was fast and friendly. All the food I saw served at this place looked amazing. The lovely waitress said they only have been open 2 months and were still awaiting for their liquor license. It is now my new favorite place in Santa Rosa. read more

Breakfast sandwiches were larger than expected with great French fries or potatoes. The ham on the eggs & ham was a 'steak' ham versus a thin slice. Great coffee with plenty of refills. Awesome service with the refills and staff checking on us. Plenty of tables and the place appears to be a repurposed old fast food joint. Best burger I've ever had. Got the duck burger with goat cheese, mushrooms, and caramelized onions. The burger patty was cooked perfectly, still juicy and tender with an amazing savory duck flavor. The goat cheese complimented this with a rich creamy smoothness while not being to overwhelming. The caramelized onions were actually done properly! My main gripe with most restaurants is that they don't actually fully cook their onions, but mine had a deep golden hue and sweetness that compliments all the savory. Mushrooms looked like they were hand foraged, with a unique crisp not mushy texture elevated it to the next level. The buns were soft and pillowy without getting gummy or sticky. I chose to get the side of butternut squash which was simple and elegant, accented by mint. Customer service was excellent, they don't interrupt you while enjoying your meal and provide the best service I've seen in a restaurant. They are incredibly pleasant and treat you like a VIP guest. Overall I highly highly recommend this restaurant and will be taking all my friends and family to it. read more

My husband and son went there for breakfast last weekend and came home raving about the food. We all went back for dinner the other night. I had a french dip, hubby had chicken piccata with mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus and son had the chicken schnitzel sandwich. French dip was BOMB! Bread was amazing and the carmelized onions and mushrooms on top are a nice touch. Au jus was flavorful and perfect! The french fries were well seasoned and crispy outside with soft inside - kept going back to the plate for more, even though I was full. I have been here twice the 1st time had chilaquiles they are good can't complain about flavor. The only problem the portion is small. The 2nd time had huevos rancheros with black beans. I though it would be a couple tortillas with a couple eggs and a side of beans. One tortilla 2 eggs and mixed in very little beans. Again it was good but the portion small. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for more food. Both times felt more like an appetizer. The service was good can't complain there. read more

My wife and I ate here today. Great variety on the menu. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had the Crab Louie and my wife had French toast, scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage patties. Beverage selection; i had coffee and she had a mimosa. Both meals were excellent. Our wait staff and all employees within the restaurant paid attention to you even if you were not their primary customer. Thats how we found out that its family owned and they have another location in Sebastopol called A Hole In The Wall. We can't wait for our next trip to Santa Rosa or Sebastopol.
