We had gone there for the first time it's a restaurant/drive-through. It's like one of your typical breakfast joints. The food is really really really good. Very fresh hot to the table. The service was awesome. They're very fast and efficient. We will definitely be going there again.

Brothers Cafe is a unique and great addition to this part of Santa Rosa. I had heard this was a great place and now I know why! Brothers is run by the same folks who run "Hole In The Wall" in Sebastopol, which we've been loving for years. The menu is practically the same, so I can order my favorites like their "Hole In The Wall Scramble" and their Dutch Baby. The really funny part of this place is they have a Drive Thru counter. I'm not sure if you can order anything on the menu if you're driving through, but how funny that they kept that aspect of the place. The former resident of this building was a Burger King and then Zee's Diner. First, a big shout out to our server who was just so sweet and fun to talk with. I believe her name was Alex? The food was solid and just as good as it is in Sebastopol. Although, I should add that this isn't your typical Dutch Baby. A traditional Dutch baby would not have apples and cinnamon in it. In my experience, this would be a German Apple Pancake. Still 100% worth ordering and delicious! I also tried their Chilaquiles for the first time and really enjoyed this as well. The salsa verde on the chips is very tasty!

I've been wanting to try this place, I came in excited by the amount of people who were seated and dining already. My waitress approached me at my table, she was nice and offered the chicken apple sausage instead of bacon. Unfortunately this breakfast was luke warm, the hottest item on my table was the coffee. I ate some and requested a to-go container to take home. Maybe I should try coming for lunch?

We were driving through the area and we're a bit hungry so we decided to stop here at Brother café. It was a bit busy when we got there needed to wait about 20 minutes before we were seated customer service is great. we placed our drink orders they brought them over pretty fast. We went over the menu. Trying to decide if we wanted breakfast or lunch. There's a lot of selection. It's a bit overwhelming. The menu is pretty big. We finally made our decision placed. Our order. Waited about 10:00/15:00 minutes for our food. Everything was really good lots of flavor good presentation glad we found this place to try while in the area. Also a side note there was a homeless gentleman sitting in the doorway area and he was patiently waiting. They brought him over some food and a coffee for him, and I thought that was awesome and very touching that they would do that for him.

Service has always been friendly, ambiance is comfortable and relaxed and food is overall tasty. For me, though we only visit on occasion, we go because it has a great neighborhood vibe and the interaction with regulars is enjoyable to watch. Most recently I ordered the French dip - bread was grilled but soft, onions and mushrooms were present but not overwhelming, the Swiss cheese perfectly melted, and the au jus flavorful ...but the meat was so so. The bummer part is that's the main part of the dish. (For old timers, Singletree Inn has ruined me for French Dips.) Hubby ordered a bacon burger and enjoyed it just fine. Great option in the area!

Unexpected menu options that lean more towards delicacy than diner. They even have a drive thru! Staff is attentive. Food tastes good. The short ribs are tender, but just a little dry. For a neighborhood/roadside diner, the housekeeping is good. There's also free ample parking.

Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with homestyle potatoes, buttermilk pancakes

Fairly good experience. My mom and boyfriend had great meals, while my biscuits and gravy were lack luster. The pancakes were phenomenal and the burrito was flavorful, but the biscuits were crunchy and the mushroom gravy lacked flavor. I'd rather have to add salt and hot sauce to make something tasty than the opposite - so overpowering that I can't fix it at all. Service was hustling. It was a busy Sunday morning and the staff was on their game. I'm impressed that this is a drive through, too!

My son and i came back to brothers cafe to try it again and this time it was better, but out of the three restaurants, i think i like the Sonoma diner a little better and your only thing i really could complain about is the fact they use those tiny take spoon size coffee creamer 1/2 n 1/2 cups. I recommend checking in on Yelp as you begin your experience as our server started out so so and after checking in he was suddenly checking in constantly. The gravy was a little on the watery side compared to the other two spots (This and Sonoma diner at owned by the Hole in the Wall cafe in sebastopol). The bacon was great and the scramble was good too. I like the windows in the place, it would be a convenient breakfast place to hop over ti if you were staying at the sandman hotel.

Have been wanting to come in for quite a while now but I don't go to many breakfasts out because it's not my favorite meal. The coffee here is first of all fantastic and locally sourced. Food and service were both good. Portions weren't huge but we felt plenty full with what we each ordered. Will be going back. Our waiter recommended short rib as a favorite on the menu.

This place never disappoints! Stopped today and tried their Crab Louis Salad. It was so good with lots of fresh vegetables, hard-boiled egg, avocado, tomatoes and lettuce. Also fresh crisp spring asparagus. The Dungeoness Crab was generously heaped on top. The service was great too. I really recommend this cafe!

Amazing breakfast. I had the smoked salmon Benedict and my husband had ham & eggs. The smoked salmon Benedict had a perfect balance of salmon, eggs, & cornichons. The hollandaise was flavorful, and the home fries were light & crispy. I can't tell you about the ham & eggs, but my husband did clean his plate. There was a great variety of items on the menu and at 8:30 a.m., everything was available to order. Fast & friendly service too.

Visited Brothers Cafe on a Sunday morning. Never been here before so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. We arrived around 9am. Once inside we were told to pick a table of our own. There were plenty of spots to choose from so we grabbed a sunny booth table. We were almost immediately greeted and got some drinks going. We ordered a green goddess juice and coffee. Soon after we got some food started as well, I ordered the funguy omelette with sourdough toast, my partner got the two eggs any style, scrambled, with bacon. Service was awesome! There were always checking in to fill our coffee and waters. Food came out pretty quick too! They have handy sides of hot sauce, butter, and jam for all your breakfast needs. We both enjoyed our meals and the service. Prices were great too! We will certainly be back.

Not only was I satisfied, I am exhilarated to report the expertly seasoned flavor, golden crisp texture and assortment of syrups, fruit and whipped cream all played a role in this master piece. Bonus - there's no risk of cross contamination because gf is the only option. Excellent choice. The Santa Rosa omelette had me at the goat cheese (one of my favorite combinations is eggs and goat cheese) but the chicken sausage was the star of the show. Chilaquiles with red and green salsa was perfection, too. The texture of the chips was on point; it is a HUGE serving, easily 2.5 meals a bit sooo good. Hashbrowns are insanely delicious and perfectly seasoned - no salt needed! Chai made expertly by our server was the best we've ever had z no notes. We made a reservation for noon, but still waited over 20 minutes just to be seated. The restaurant was packed, with a cute interior, although it was smaller than I expected and had extremely limited outdoor seating. We were able to order relatively quickly, but the service was slow overall. Our food took about 40 minutes to arrive, which seemed especially long for a fairly simple order. I ordered the huevos rancheros with both green and red salsa. The green salsa was okay, but I didn't care for the red, and the dish itself was bland and definitely needed some salt. My husband ordered a basic breakfast, which was fine but also needed more seasoning. The hash browns were probably the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, given all the hype, we expected more. While the atmosphere is cute, the long wait, slow service, and underwhelming food made the experience disappointing. I don't see us going back anytime soon.

On the wall was a chalkboard with the list of local farmers and vendors that they used to supply their restaurant. I loved how fresh and flavorful all the food was, but I loved their collaboration with small local business owners to provide them with things like eggs and dairy. I had an omelette with spinach, caramelized, tomatoes, chicken sausage, and goat cheese. This was one of the most delicious bites I've had at a breakfast spot in a long time. We also shared an order of beignets that came with some fresh apple butter, which was to die for! It felt like taking a bit off fall weather if that makes sense. My boyfriend had some biscuits and country gravy with a side of sausage and fried eggs. He loved everything that he ate as well. He also had a bloody Mary, which was made with Soju. The flavor and quality was top notch and you hardly missed the vodka from the drink. Our server was very friendly, and he offered some insight into the quality of the Soju and the vendors that they work with. I had no difficulty hearing the match over the noise of the crowded venue. Water was supplied next to the bar and was self service. It was constantly kept full. I never saw it empty. When the bar served so much it ran out of glasses they already had plastic cups available. Overall, great spot full of great people. Well done.

My family and I stopped by The Goose & Fern to watch a World Cup match because their website had…read moreadvertised that they'd be showing the game. My wife and I had just visited Abbey Tavern this past weekend, a premier Scottish pub in the City, and we expected a similar atmosphere. However, the moment we showed up, we were met with great disappointment. The Goose & Fern is honestly a terrible place to watch a sports match: there was only a single TV mounted in the back corner of the restaurant, the TV wasn't particularly large, and the speakers had been turned completely off. What a bust. Although the food was decent, especially the Shepherd's pie -- which came piping hot in a small cast iron skillet, the service was downright dreadful and almost non-existent. We never received waters (or were even asked if we wanted beverages), our table wasn't given enough silverware, we were never checked on during the meal, and we were waiting around for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs before somebody from our party finally went up to try to pay for the check. In hindsight, a tip was not warranted for the lack of service. Overall, Yelp grossly misled me on The Goose & Fern. This is not a spot I would stop by again to watch a sporting match. If you're in this part of Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and head over to Dave and Busters down the street where they have a bunch of massive screens, tons of beer options, and service that will far surpass what you're getting here.
