I've only ordered food from the Hillside location and had it delivered to my job. The food is very good however today was my second time ordering and the restaurants second time messing it up. The first time I called to place my order. They verified my order and still managed to forget my rice. So now my tacos are cold waiting for them to bring me back rice. The manager never offered anything for my inconvenience. Today, I decided to order online to avoid error. After waiting for not only my food but two of my coworkers food--it never showed within the time it said it would over 1.5 hr. I called the restaurant and they said "something is wrong with our fax machine. Give us a minute we now have your order (mysteriously without me reading it back) let me place it now and send it out." Again, they never offered even a complimentary rice, soda, taco anything! Now I have my hungry coworkers looking at me because I suggested this restaurant. I LOVE BROTHERS. Omg. I discovered them a year ago on the GrubHub app. Each time, their delivery has been so speedy and food is warm. My favorite is the steak taco salad. Be VERY careful ordering from this restaurant with dietary restrictions. I placed a delivery order and specifically requested no cheese, mayonnaise, or pork products in my jibarito vegetariano with a side of beans. The first delivery came with cheese and mayonnaise on my jibarito and cheese on my beans. I called in and asked for a replacement, and my second order came with cheese STILL on my jibarito and pork on my side of rice. They have the very best food! The shrimp fajitas were the best I have ever had. The barbacoa burrito was awesome, mostly full of barbacoa with just enough of the other ingredients. I did not like either of the sales, they have a strange creamy consistency but the Pico de Gallo is a great alternative. This place used to be good. Now it's crap. I ordered 2 of the carne Asada a la tampiquena and the steaks were raw the presentation was horrible. They didn't include the roasted pepper as well. I spent over 60.00 and I needed to recook the food. Months ago this place was great now it's a waste of money. Was kind of iffy about going back ever since the change because I did not think it was going to be the same but it was delicious!! Here we go! Steak tacos were great- very filling and fresh. The meat was seasoned. I see why people like the green sauce but the consistency was more on the creamy side which I'm not used to but it was alright on my tacos/ I also got a steak jibarito & the plantains were so crunchy that basically it was steak and toppings between two plantain chips. I was very disappointed. Otherwise, it might've been a hit BUT the steak was a tad bit dry and could've been more seasoned. The Cajun fries on the side were good. The rice was ehhh... they also forgot to give me a fork and I have to mention that they didn't seem to care that I didn't enjoy the jibarito. The guy basically hit me with a "aw damn sorry about that". Won't go again but overall it wasn't the worst experience I've had. Also! Use cash otherwise you get charged a fee.
