Today, Friday June 19th. I entered the store and looked around seeing tables are now available for sitting inside as I seen folks eating. I was asked by the cashier women from across the floor that I need a face mask. I replied sorry I'll go back to my car and get one. I walked back in the store and placed my order to go. As I was now at the cashier with the same same women that asked me to wear a mask I noticed the customer before me had no mask on her face nor did a new customer who was placing an order at the bagel counter. I asked the cashier women why aren't they wearing a face mask?. She replied with a high voice "ma'am " take your food it's on the house. She stated to me that I was upset and told the customer in front of me that I was upset that she did not have her mask on. I relied to the young lady who was in front of me that i wasn't upset. I seriously felt the cashier women was upset bc I brought to her attention. Let me tell you as a consumer and a food industry worker myself you cannot be bias to some folks and not follow the protocol with others. It's obvious this type of behavior from the cashier women who told me I was upset and walked away from the cashier to a back room needs some customer service education on how to handle a room and follow protocol and workflow process during g this Covid19 problem. I will not return and find myself elsewhere for bagels. Teach and learn is all we need going forward read more

I was craving a bagel and lox, and this was the closest place to get it. There were quite a few people there when I arrived, but service was very prompt and courteous. The stars are mostly for that. I got an everything bagel, which was tasty. But I paid nine dollars for this breakfast sandwich, nine! It had a disappointing small slice of tomato, seriously about five capers, two pieces of onion, and some lox. I didn't even get cream cheese. It hit the spot, but I should've gone next-door to sprouts, and bought enough bagels and lox to have for the week for the price I paid. read more

I actually like their breakfast sandwiches, but I cannot come here anymore due to their customer service. I have been to this location many many times and have finally decided it's just not worth my unbelievable frustration every single time I go in. If you don't order exactly what is on the menu it's a total cluster. I don't like egg and every single time I order a sandwich without the egg it is a 5 minute debacle about it and then they always charge me more than the sandwich should be because they price it out as all individual ingredients. A bagel shop that refuses to slice a banana and put it on a peanut butter bagel. They used to refuse to put peanut butter on a bagel because of allergy issues but now they do. Still scratching my head over the banana deal. Is their a banana allergy I'm not aware of? I won't be going back. read more

The breakfast isn't the most expensive part. The lunch cost a fortune and you pay for sides and drinks separately. I know it's New York style bagels but can we leave the New York style prices off the menu. Bought a dozen bagels yesterday and asked if they can slice them in half. I was told that I would have to wait 30 minutes since phone in orders come 1st compared to walk in customers. Now I was the only walk in customer in line. How long does it take to run a dozen bagels thru a slicer? Would it be too much of an inconvenience to slice a dozen bagels? I don't think so. Maybe if there were several customers in line, ok. Very poor customer service. read more

I recently tried to place a to go order and found that they have a ridiculous policy on call-in orders. As someone else mentions in their review, they tell you you have to wait 30 minutes for a call-in order, whether they're busy or not. It just happened that we were on a break from work, and did not have 30 minutes to wait. So, I asked if they could make an exception, since the girl told me THEY WERE NOT BUSY AND HAD NO ONE IN LINE, and they refused. Policies of that nature are to make it fair to the people who are standing in line. When there's no one in line, they should be willing to make an exception. Lack of flexibility leads to a lack of business. They just lost my business for good. Went to Panera instead and they served us up beautifully. read more

Serious customer service issues here. First it was one of the guys that always seems to need to inform you that he is irritated (he has this face every time I see him), now it's the super Brittany. Had a terrible experience today where I was blatantly ignored after waiting 15 minutes just for my bagel to come out. No smile, no eye contact as she grudgingly made my sandwich. No acknowledgement whatsoever as she tried to help the next guest and show that she was dismissing me completely. Just rude. read more

A couple of weeks ago, California Bagel Bakery closed up shop for the last time, since then I've been trying to find a suitable replacement bagel shop. This is not it. I just put down my bagel and raced upstairs to write this review, that's how much I disliked Brueggers. I usually really like this place. I love their bagel selection, the fact that there is usually a fresh batch coming out and that they offer other items on their menu. They have good sandwiches and lunch deals. My only complaint is that their bagels have not been consistent. I would say half the time the bagels are super thin and a bit doughy. I love their fluffy bagels and hate when they hand me the undercooked thin bagels. read more

My experience here was less than satisfactory. I ordered a BLT on a jalapeño bagel the total came out to $6.50 which was completely fine, but when I received my bagel sandwich it had zero condiments. No mayo or cream cheese which would make for an awfully dry and uncomfortable sandwich. When I asked for a side of cream cheese that comes in a small plastic container the employee wanted to charge me 2 dollars which is completely outrageous seeing how you can get an entire container for 2 dollars at the store . My sandwich would have come to the cost of $8.50 which is ludicrous. The employees gave me a hard time instead of just adding a sliver of cream cheese on my bagel. I could have purchased a featured Honey Sandwich that comes with egg bacon cheese as well as cream cheese for a total of $6.50. The customer service was bad and my family and I will not be going back . read more

My wife and I always used to frequent Brueger's during college in Nor Cal. This location is very clean and situated conveniently in a nice plaza (nicer then others in the Winchester area). There's also a bike trail the runs behind this plaza so I will stop here to refuel on a long bike ride from time to time. I really like their selection of bagels and yummy cream cheeses. If someone thinks this Brugger's does not have friendly good service, then I have to wonder if it might be a personal problem. I go in often, and I love the staff. The store is clean and comfortable. This is strictly on customer service not on the food at all. I live in Menifee and we don't have a Bruegger's so I don't get to stop in here often but I used to live in Temecula and fell in love with the bagels here and their coolers. Every time I seem to come it's packed which is good. However, I came in today at 9:00 and stood in line for almost 20 minutes to get one bagel. The girls I don't think could have moved any slower. There was absolutely no rush and the line extended out the door. The only reason I am not giving a 1 star is because the lady in the glasses and the person at the register were very sweet and they were the only ones working. The two other girls I think need to act like they like their job and hustle a little bit. I am never one to write reviews like ever! I feel bad even writing this now, but I have to say something so maybe the owner or someone can help the employees be hard working. The bagel though are so good, the food get a 5 star :) read more

At least once a week, me and boys have to visit Bruegger's. My boys LOVE the plain bagels (we usually have to buy 6 to-go). I especially enjoy a turkey/veggie on a rosemary bagel. So fresh and healthy! We've been going to this Brueggers for over 4 years now and the staff always is so friendly. So basically...great food and great service!! read more

I decided to go with the Sriracha breakfast on the everything bagel. The bagel was delicious and I wish I had just ordered cream cheese rather than the breakfast sandwich. The turkey sausage tasted way too processed for my liking. The spice was pretty good but the mix of the cheese and bell peppers was just not appealing to me, reason being it wasn't fresh. The line in the morning was little long, but once I got to the counter to order, our food was made quickly and the check out at the register was fast. I also ordered hot chocolate to go. This was piping hot, but pretty sweet, thumbs up for you chocolate lovers! There is plenty of room for dining in and there are also tables outside if you want fresh air or have your dog with you like we did. read more

I haven't yelped in a while, but I'm compelled to write this review. I was in a bagel mood and this was the most convenient option at the time. Everything else equal, I always prefer a non-chain, so my expectations were low-ish. This was one of those unexpected trancendent experiences where it's not about exactly where you are and what product or service you're getting, it's about a group of people deciding they're just going to kick add at what they do. They were busy but super efficient, out-of-their way friendly and a well-oiled machine. The bagel happened to be damned good. The next time I'm somewhere and I get the awful service that is the sad modern standard, I'll remind myself that it doesn't have to be that way. You guys made my day!! read more
