I didn't notice any jalapeño, just one garlic roasted tomato. Nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was thick and cooked med well. The bun was soft. This is the best place to go and get a really good burger and french fries. I am talking about a super good smash burger. It has that perfect lace around the edge with melted cheddar cheese and all the accouterments. The french fries are thin and super crisp. The onion rings are huge and crispy. We, also, had a blue cheese burger with a side of delicious lime avocado sauce. If you remember and loved Bernie's Burger Bus then run, don't walk, here. It is the same people. I'm new to this area and am missing some of the vibes from the Heights/Washington area I was used to. I was so happy to find this place tucked away somewhere I didn't even know existed. I need a quiet place to do some work. Somewhere I can sip some lattes and do some planning. This cute little cafe, with the upscale vibe, and friendly service hit it dead on for me. I love the ambience of it. I cannot wait for cooler weather to partake in the outside patio too. I ordered a cold brew with marshmallow cold foam and it was pretty good. The espresso machine was down so it was a twist to one of their lattes. Being the coffee addict that I am, I needed one more! I was so happy to hear that they had just fixed the espresso machine, so the other latte I really wanted to try was available. It was the raspberry latte, and it was hands down my favorite! So thankful I found a place that makes me feel like I'm back in the Heights area. This was a one done for the wife and I. Service was friendly but super slow and then when the food finally showed everything was cold. Sent the burger back and when it can back it was hot but all broken apart. The onion rings were the star of the meal even cold they are delicious. French fries cold but had a good taste. A cute cafe with comfy seating. We've gone to the restaurant and wanted to try the coffee shop. It's got a few coffee options, desserts, and breakfast items. I tried the matcha latte and there's a few different syrups you can add to it. I added the lavender honey. It's a little on the sweet side with the added syrup but the lavender taste paired well with the matcha. My bf got a flat white, which he liked. We also shared a cookie that kind of looked like a muffin top. It was good with a generous amount of chocolate chips. We sat on the couch and picked a hand to play while we had our drinks. The place is open at night and there wasn't anyone else there so it was great to have it to ourselves. They also have a good breakfast. read more

The food all I got was a blueberry muffin and the avocado toast seemed good , the muffin was cold even though it was warmed up .The avocado toast wasn't toasted the avocado you get seems like that prepackaged avocado that you can smear on the bread you don't get the chunks as at other places in other words doesn't seem like fresh avocado , the taste wasn't good to bland for $9.75 hell na not again . The coffee was cool other than that the avocado toast made me not want to try anything else . Service was quick ambiance chill no people present . Was not busy at all when I went in the morning so it was a nice place to get some work done. The coffee I got was okay. Not sure if I was allowed to park where I did since there was a no parking sign but there was other cars on the side of the road, but there is plenty of paid parking. My biggest gripe is that this is a cashless establishment, yet there is a credit card usage fee. Who does that? Eat the fee from your processing system or accept cash. read more

As one of the few local coffee shops in the summerwood area, this is my favorite one. I typically visit with my laptop and enjoy a nice matcha and scone for a change of scenery during remote work. One opportunity this place is to improve the level of overall 'coziness'. It feels almost like you're in a museum. I'd love to see them add in giant plants to break up the space between tables and where you order. I'd also love to see a larger selection of baked items - they do have a few, but some croissants or cookies would be lovely. Overall a great experience and wonderful space. I tried going into Lupo Caffe this morning with a friend when they opened at 9am per signage and notice on the website. Well after my friend and myself paid the hour long parking fee which is $2.45 cents we made our way to the doors of the establishment. They were locked and people were inside taking pictures and doing stuff but no one came to the window or door to say anything. I thought that was quite rude so I entered the Italian restaurant to enter the coffee shop from an interior door to speak with an employee/manager. So I eventually found out from the rude manager inside that they were closed to the public until their "brunch event" with the Italian restaurant next door was over and done with. There was no notice posted to their website, Instagram. There wasn't even a sign on the window letting people know this. As I spoke to the rude manager I asked her what was going on... and why there was no notice about this disruption in regular business hours. The manager shrugged her shoulders and told me that she was sorry we wasted our money on parking and that there wasn't nothing that she could do unless I waited for a table at the Italian restaurant. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! MANAGER HERE NEEDS RETRAINING FOR SURE!!!!! If I could give it less than one star I would. I now notice that there was a similar complaint in yelp.. ready get this... 7 MONTHS AGO... and they haven't gotten their act together. Go figure. read more

my husband and i were super excited to have a coffee shop / cafe in the summerwood area. my main reason for deducting 2 stars is the coffee ... i'm someone who loves her coffee, so when i ordered a latte here twice already, it has literally been sweetened milk with maybe 2% coffee. not only that, but my husband ordered a basic drip coffee and it was literally $5 ... 50 cent cheaper than my latte. i found that very unfortunate, and i truly hope they train their staff better to produce more quality coffee, and address the high coffee prices. i will say that the food is VERY good ... a little on the pricey side, but good nonetheless. read more

This is the second time my husband and I have tried this place. It's cute, but the food is way over salted. We said something to them after the first try, and decided to give them a second try approximately a month later, but no change. The food is inedible because it's SO salty. I don't think we will be giving it a third attempt. Such a shame too because I love a cute brunch spot, but it's just wasting money if we can't even eat our food. read more
