This ended up being a very enjoyable part of my visit to Grand Rapids. I had an early start for my day, which meant I was able to get in and be seated immediately when I arrived. As I was leaving you could tell that they were getting busier. Service was very friendly throughout my visit, and I was pleased with the bright welcoming nature of the room itself. I wanted something a little lighter for breakfast and went with a yogurt parfait. It was absolutely terrific. Wonderful granola prepared with freshly sliced berries and a delicious honey glaze. I would 100% get this again if I were able to come back. Pricing was completely fair for the quality of food that I got. Hope to return someday!

I love brunch food so I'm so glad I finally got to try Brunch House! I heard it gets really busy on the weekends so I went today around 11 and it was only a 5-10 minute wait. I appreciate that their waiting area had some chairs. Their dining space has plenty of seating as well including booths, tables and bar seating. The food took 20 minutes but they were getting pretty busy when we were sat down. They have a rotating limited time menu so I had to get something off of there. I got the strawberry shortcake stuffed French toast and strawberry lovers, this one is for you! The French toast had the same topping as the classic strawberry shortcake ice cream that I love and it came with fresh strawberries and strawberry glaze on the side. It was delicious! My bf got the bacon skillet and it came with 2 fried eggs and a side of pancakes or toast. My bf is a picky eater and he enjoyed it! Located in the Forest Hills Center strip, there's plenty of parking and totally worth the drive!

OH MY. This place is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. There is always a long wait - I recommend checking in on Yelp prior to when you want to go. The wait time was pretty in line with what we were quoted. I ordered the Cali scram - it came with choice of pancakes or toast and I had the pancakes. I added the blueberry streusel on top of the pancakes which was delicious. I would highly recommend. The food was so delicious I would love to try more things. Highly highly recommend this place for a lovely breakfast/brunch.

The food here was amazing! I ordered the breakfast burrito. Service was great, good came in a timely manner and our waitress was super sweet. Pretty busy so I had to join the waitlist online in advance. Lots of people but overall good ambiance and vibe!!

The food came out quickly. The staff were friendly and prompt. The setting had a very chill vibe. The bathrooms were clean, that's one of the first things I check, that'll tell you a lot about an establishment by how clean or dirty their bathroom is. I would recommend this place to anyone. We'll be back for sure.

Wow crazy busy - went Saturday @10 am, 2 people. Said wait was an hour. Fortunately we were able to get right in sitting at the bar. Bartender was great, attentive but not overly so. Everything looked delicious walking by to other tables. I went with eggs Benedict & American fries. Sooo yum. Parking lot very busy (near forest hills funky Buddha). Will go back

Yummy brunch and lunch spot! Went on a Sunday afternoon and jumped on Yelp to get added to the waitlist. Tip: set a reminder on Yelp because the wait time for a 1:00pm timeframe was over 160 minutes! The Yelp wait time is pretty accurate in my opinion. Ordered the chicken and waffles: they come with chicken strips cut up on top of 4 triangle waffles. They were good but just personal preference, could have done without the red pepper flakes on the dish. Also, had the veggie omelette with added sausage and the small pancakes. I will say their drink and cocktail list had a good variety of unique options. Ambiance is modern and stylish with bar area seating with a tv as well as dining area. Looking forward to coming back here again!

Visited at 11am on a Monday and it was busy!! Pros- huge menu with so many yummy and unique options as well as the classics, seasonal specials, large portions, great flavors, vegan milks, fast and friendly service, kid friendly Cons- you may have to wait! Definitely recommend this place and I will be back if I'm in the area!

In town for a wedding and a quick Yelp search told us this was the spot for breakfast. We were there on a Friday morning and we had to wait a short time, so I can imagine on a weekend you need to definitely keep that in mind. The restaurant is bright and cheery, and everything looked good on the tables as we walked by as we were seated. I went with a special- Bananas Foster French Toast and it was as fabulous as it sounds! If I were to get it again I would have the sauce in the side as there was so much it got overwhelming for me, but that says more about my eating issues than the food itself. Our wait staff was super friendly and gave us some great recommendations on things to do while in the area (go to the nearby Meijer Sculpture Gardens!) so we were super grateful for that as well. Would DEFINITELY be back!!

Food was amazing and service was fast and friendly Good job brunch house!! I will be back

Recently I visited the Brunch House in Grand Rapids. It was an experience for sure. Our wait was 3 hours long. We realized going on a weekend was not a great choice. Every table was full. We had a party of four and our group enjoyed their choices and the prices were similar to all the breakfast restaurants in the area. We paid $50 for 4 meals and a cinnamon roll. The only complaint was the farmers' scramble. It really lacked the hasbrowns they seemed more like they were sprinkled in but everything was visually appetizing too! The waffle was excellent, crispy and fluffy! We also loved the pancakes. The cinnamon roll is a frosted topping and that was also very soft and delicious. Service was good but very slow I don't think our server had enough time to check in on us because of how busy she and the entire team was which is understandable. The restaurant is located in a strip mall where parking is limited! We drove around quite a bit to get an open spot. Overall I would visit again and try other menu items!

Great food at a fair price! Signing up for seating online was clutch on a Sunday morning. Two hour wait otherwise! My sis loved the s'mores latte

I came here for the first time over the weekend and it did not disappoint! I got the acai yogurt bowl and the portion was huge! It reminded me a lot of cafes they have in Florida with the modern and vibrant colors. I will say, this place gets extremely busy and probably one of the busiest brunch spots in Grand rapids. You can join their waitlist through your phone which is highly suggested. Otherwise when you get here you might be waiting 1-2 hours to be seated. It is located in a busy strip of Forest Hills and you might have to walk a little far but the parking lot is pretty big and wraps all the way around to behind The Pantry. Their service was great considering how busy they were.

Noco Provisions, Grand Rapids, Michigan…read more While visiting a local whom I've known since law school 40 years ago, we stopped at Noco Provisions on Cascade Road, Grand Rapids in late June 2026. We arrived around 5:30 p.m., early enough that there were still places to sit, inside and outside. Our host explained that the tables were full at the moment, predicting a table would be ready within 15 minutes. We agreed and headed to the bar. As we were getting settled there a table opened up and we brought our drinks from the bar to the table (Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay, $15; White Claw ($5) and a Bombay Sapphire ($10), all subject to a 3.5% surcharge, which is never actually explained, so we can't tell if the server gets to share in the benefit of the surcharge or whether he or she gets nothing from the charge. I assumed the restaurant was not sharing this money with the service staff, so I tipped as though she was not a beneficiary of the charge. Service both at the bar and at our table was great. I ordered the Prime Rib French Dip ($22.00, thinly sliced prime rib topped with melted white cheddar and au jus. Served on a toasted hoagie bun with fries). The meal was presented with less than a 20-minute wait, totally in line with the venue. Our server was observant (she kept our water glasses full) and helpful. Since the sandwich was pretty substantial, I was able to box up half plus the leftover fries, making a great lunch the next day. Great service, authentic American menu, nice indoor layout with equally nice outdoor seating.

Burrito is packed full of hash browns, crispy bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese. The only downside to the Kevin Malone is that they use spinach instead of like a chopped lettuce for the burrito and the texture is a little overpowering. Plus, they don't chop the stems off the spinach, so I'd either order it without or pick some pieces out. I feel like the Brunchwrap has a thicker layer of it and as much as mixing in a green is smart, it has to be prepped properly in my opinion. Patatas bravas as a side were fire. The potatoes were roasted and seasoned well. It advertised a garlic aioli, but we did not get that. As with San Chez's patatas bravas, ask for the sauce on the side. It is a very good side of potatoes compared to the thinly, oddly sliced potato slices that came with the breakfast sandwich. They looked like apple slices and were sort of wet and soggy like them too. Nitpicking their spinach prep and refining their side dish of potatoes are really the only notes if someone from Mudpenny is actually reading this and got this far. Nate and I stopped by on a Saturday morning to try some of their seasonal drinks and get a light breakfast. The menu includes some hot food items (breakfast sandwich and quiche) and a small selection of pastries. We got a bunch of things to share: banana bread latte, a breakfast sandwich, slice of broccoli ham quiche, and a cherry almond scone. Everything came out on a counter near the ordering area and they called out our name. The drinks were tasty but I preferred the robin's egg cold brew the best. The banana bread latte didn't have a lot of banana flavor; it mostly tasted like the spices you'd associate with banana bread. I really liked the food we tried. The quiche was one of the best I've ever had. I'm actually still thinking about it days later. The texture of the egg was silky and custardy, not at all spongy or dry. I thought it was divine but if you don't like that texture, it is not for you (flan-like). The breakfast sandwich was a bit bland -- I asked for hot sauce but they couldn't find any. I appreciated the texture of the biscuit, and the egg was also tender (not as custardy as the quiche). I don't usually like scones as they tend to be dry, but theirs was flaky, buttery, and delicious, with a very almond-forward flavor. I would definitely order more quiche and scones. There were quite a few people coming in for pickup orders on a sunny Saturday morning. If I lived closer, I think I'd come here often. I'd be curious to try some of their take home items or lunch.
