The food came out quickly. The staff were friendly and prompt. The setting had a very chill vibe. The bathrooms were clean, that's one of the first things I check, that'll tell you a lot about an establishment by how clean or dirty their bathroom is. I would recommend this place to anyone. We'll be back for sure.

Yummy brunch and lunch spot! Went on a Sunday afternoon and jumped on Yelp to get added to the waitlist. Tip: set a reminder on Yelp because the wait time for a 1:00pm timeframe was over 160 minutes! The Yelp wait time is pretty accurate in my opinion. Ordered the chicken and waffles: they come with chicken strips cut up on top of 4 triangle waffles. They were good but just personal preference, could have done without the red pepper flakes on the dish. Also, had the veggie omelette with added sausage and the small pancakes. I will say their drink and cocktail list had a good variety of unique options. Ambiance is modern and stylish with bar area seating with a tv as well as dining area. Looking forward to coming back here again!

Visited at 11am on a Monday and it was busy!! Pros- huge menu with so many yummy and unique options as well as the classics, seasonal specials, large portions, great flavors, vegan milks, fast and friendly service, kid friendly Cons- you may have to wait! Definitely recommend this place and I will be back if I'm in the area!

This is my favorite restaurant in Michigan. My best friend and I come here for our friend-iversary every year. The waitlist system is a bit odd as you have to wait on a second list after checking in, but it's absolutely worth it. The breakfast tacos are AMAZING. Love the staff and menu and drinks. Everything fantastic 100/10

Wow crazy busy - went Saturday @10 am, 2 people. Said wait was an hour. Fortunately we were able to get right in sitting at the bar. Bartender was great, attentive but not overly so. Everything looked delicious walking by to other tables. I went with eggs Benedict & American fries. Sooo yum. Parking lot very busy (near forest hills funky Buddha). Will go back

Service was decent. Walt was ridiculous. The food was good. Will probably go back to the Muskegon location next time!

In town for a wedding and a quick Yelp search told us this was the spot for breakfast. We were there on a Friday morning and we had to wait a short time, so I can imagine on a weekend you need to definitely keep that in mind. The restaurant is bright and cheery, and everything looked good on the tables as we walked by as we were seated. I went with a special- Bananas Foster French Toast and it was as fabulous as it sounds! If I were to get it again I would have the sauce in the side as there was so much it got overwhelming for me, but that says more about my eating issues than the food itself. Our wait staff was super friendly and gave us some great recommendations on things to do while in the area (go to the nearby Meijer Sculpture Gardens!) so we were super grateful for that as well. Would DEFINITELY be back!!

Recently I visited the Brunch House in Grand Rapids. It was an experience for sure. Our wait was 3 hours long. We realized going on a weekend was not a great choice. Every table was full. We had a party of four and our group enjoyed their choices and the prices were similar to all the breakfast restaurants in the area. We paid $50 for 4 meals and a cinnamon roll. The only complaint was the farmers' scramble. It really lacked the hasbrowns they seemed more like they were sprinkled in but everything was visually appetizing too! The waffle was excellent, crispy and fluffy! We also loved the pancakes. The cinnamon roll is a frosted topping and that was also very soft and delicious. Service was good but very slow I don't think our server had enough time to check in on us because of how busy she and the entire team was which is understandable. The restaurant is located in a strip mall where parking is limited! We drove around quite a bit to get an open spot. Overall I would visit again and try other menu items!

I came here for the first time over the weekend and it did not disappoint! I got the acai yogurt bowl and the portion was huge! It reminded me a lot of cafes they have in Florida with the modern and vibrant colors. I will say, this place gets extremely busy and probably one of the busiest brunch spots in Grand rapids. You can join their waitlist through your phone which is highly suggested. Otherwise when you get here you might be waiting 1-2 hours to be seated. It is located in a busy strip of Forest Hills and you might have to walk a little far but the parking lot is pretty big and wraps all the way around to behind The Pantry. Their service was great considering how busy they were.

sorry, I've been gone for a while last year's been crazy. Sold my house, moved into an RV resort into an RV. Perfect place for the great grandkids and family. Lots of eating at home. But periodically we would get out and I will start with the most recent, and hopefully we'll get to go out more and I'll be able to give more reviews. Now on that note, I had a doctors appointment which led us to a place. We've already been to before which was the brunch house. You can't go wrong at the brunch house, and you certainly can't go wrong with any of their Benedict's. Nor their mimosa bucket. Excellent food once again, excellent service and very clean nice place for brunch. They do close at three and we were around the clock, but they served us like we were their first customers. Excellent food once again.

I had them add the corned beef hash ..just right

Came here with my girlfriend and my son! The dining area and bar is set up very nice and comfortable! The waitress was very kind and the food was delicious the prices was good and I will most definitely be back for more good breakfast

The food was delicious and really great service. Our waitress was on top of everything including refills. Love the waitlist option. We are definitely going back. Inside of the restaurant is beautiful.

Virtually no wait time! We were on our espresso martini hunt again and these were great with a nice foam on time. It's a bright face paced diner vibe. Everything form the the walls to the bathroom is very cutesy and good for some cute brunch pics with your girls. The breakfast tacos were the best thing we tried. Never skip the strawberry basil mimosa when you pick out your flavors. Don't forget to add yourself to the waitlist online if you think about it before hand.

I adore crab so ordering that was a no brainer. Their coffee is strong. It took a ton of cream to change the color... though it was delicious with free refills for $5. The omelette was heaven. All the flavors melded well and I appreciated the crisp acidic salad to cut the richness of the omelette. My only critique is wishing the crab salad topping was a bit more decadent. For $21 I was hoping for big lumps of crab rather than cool shredded mayo based salad. All in all, I love this place, I love the concept. It was quite busy and was thankful to snag a seat at the bar. We typically like sitting at the bar as well and chat with the bartender who was absolutely lovely! The dirty martini was okay but I will definitely order something else next time as the olives just didn't hit for me. It's a quaint and quiet spot - you can read that as intimate - since it's not loud or rowdy, so if you want a really sweet date spot, feel free to check this one out! Otherwise, you can just go and have a casual, delicious dinner. Parking is limited with the street parking and it being so close to Monroe Center but you shouldn't have a terrible time finding something, even if requires a parking ramp vs street parking. I'd just recommend a reservation if you are going on a weekend or don't want to wait/sit at the bar!

It was a 45 minute wait today but my friend and I found seats at the bar and got coffee while we waited and we were able to order our food shortly after. Our waiter, Drew, was amazing and knew my friend from being a regular. He checked in on us frequently and made sure our coffee was full while we waited on the food. Since they were pretty slammed, our food took some time to come out but it was worth the wait. I tried the Jamaican jerk chicken frittata that my friend recommended and the spread was beautiful and it was delicious. If you like sweet and savory, this is the perfect dish with chicken and veggies in jerk sauce on top of frittata eggs topped with cheese and pineapple. Yum! The portion size covered the whole plate so I have leftovers for tomorrow! My friend got the steak and eggs and her gf got the hash Benedict. They both have been here before and I see why they went back. I will also be back soon! Other things to note is they have a shared parking lot so this is helpful if you don't want to do street parking. Also I would describe the ambiance as a higher-end diner with great service!

Honestly it was an incredible location for a space and had such a great vibe inside. My best friend is a regular at the restaurant and we're hoping to see them more in smaller capacities like when we saw them at the Fulton St. Market. Overall, the food was really good. I like the concept of fast-casual dining without the need to have a server. I think it allows things to feel more casual and allowed for me to be more willing to eat there (obviously in other circumstances lol). I got the horchata hot cakes with some of the papas with ghost sauce. I thought the pancakes were GREAT and more than worth it for the price. I was surprised how large and fluffy they were. Different from the last time I was here but we were told to find a seat upon entering and that when we were ready, we could order our food at the counter. I looked over their menu and found lots of good breakfast taco options, the breakfast burrito I have heard is great, but what really caught my attention was the biscuits and gravy. I was feeling quite ravenous this morning and got the full order for $11 and a side of bacon. They had a table close to the entrance with extra menus, clean cups, water jugs, hot sauces, silverware and napkins. Seemed like a help-yourself vibe which I grabbed everything we would need for our meal. Our food was brought to us rather quickly and my bf ordered the breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs and sausage. He told me it tasted so good and he loved that he could make his own tacos with his food. He let me try one of the hashbrown rounds and it was perfectly crispy! My biscuits and gravy were phenomenal. The biscuits were so fresh and the gravy had a really nice and comforting flavor to it. You could get chorizo and mushrooms in your gravy but i went with a traditional sausage for my protein. My bacon on the side came in a tiny dish but I ate all four pieces haha. Once we finished, there were some bus bins under the same table with the silverware, we placed all our dirty dishes there and cleaned up after ourselves before leaving. I honestly felt so content leaving there and can't wait to return. I really appreciate the ambiance in there with the beautiful plant life, the lights on the ceiling, and cool decor in general. The staff was also SO NICE! Wins everywhere. I also noticed people coming in for takeout which is good to know in case I don't feel like dining in some morning. Please check this place out sometime if you're in the mood for some really good breakfast that doesn't break your bank account.
