OMGOSH the nicest guy Wadia and best cook Michelle had me loving ever bit of my food! I can't tell you when's the last time I sat down and enjoyed every bite I took! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Wadia his so nice and polite we completely changed outlet minds of walking next door his energy just pulled us in! , Our food was so good Michelle was back there cooking everything with Love! The tables are all clean after a few min we seen the young Supervisor come out and wipe down everything even the outside of the trash cans! She was super pretty but I forgot to get her name! The prices are very reasonable! We'll definitely be back

We stopped here for a morning breakfast on a Monday and it was nice and quiet and clean in the restaurant. We ordered 4 fried chicken breakfast burritos. They were great and different from usual breakfast burritos, especially because it's fried chicken. Great quality and service. The manager was really nice and accommodating. I enjoyed the green salsa and the chipotle sauce they gave to free with it as well. If they stuffed the burritos more I would order again for sure.

4 stars Came here for a late lunch and thought the food was excellent. This is what we ordered: The Original ($13.50): fried chicken breast sandwiched in a waffle with chili honey, and coleslaw. Fried chicken was crunchy and juicy. Chili honey had a lovely balance and went well with the waffle. 4.5/5 stars Breakfast Burrito ($12): portion was huge. It was pretty tasty, but the creamy sauce was a little too salty for me and mom. 4/5 stars Chili tots ($6 combo add-on): it's pretty good, but original might be the better option. I didn't think the chili sprinkles were needed. 4/5 stars Service was good, interior was clean, and food was tasty.

I'd wanted to visit Bruxie for months. The parking lot made me want to change my mind. However I finally found a parking spot. I was greeted with a warm hello as soon as I entered the building. I wanted to try the chicken salad, everything else looked so good. I finally made my choice. I ordered the chicken salad with extra chicken. I sat inside, but there was outdoor seating available. The salad was good, 7/10. I probably should've gotten the grilled chicken salad. The fried chicken was breaded too heavy for my liking. It was flavorful though. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. The restrooms were unisex.

Visiting the area and we needed a nice casual lunch. This place was across from our hotel. The staff are super friendly. The chicken has a unique flavor and our salad was very fresh. We couldn't finish everything and took some back for a late night snack. There is an outdoor area and inside. Only thing is the indoor music is so loud it makes it hard to talk. No biggie.

This is my second review. I was visiting family for few days and my daughter asked where I wanted to dine. "Bruxie's" was my instant reply. So, this experience: So all three of us ordered the chicken tenders and waffles. I can only tell my first bite of their waffle was nearly a religious experience. The exterior has this delicate shattering flavorful crust. Inside the crust is a fluffy almost pancake like core tastes of sweet cream and vanilla. The tenders were HUGE. Split chicken breast white meat covered in a crispy-crunchy savory crust with mild peppery heat. They were perfect. Service was friendly, helpful and accurate. The interior has a modern industrial chic. I highly recommend Bruxie's. No pictures this trip, I dove into my platter like a seabird.

Chicken and waffles were delicious! Chicken was pretty big and waggles ceispy and fluffy. May seem like a little but you do get full. The strawberry lemonade was very good. Super chill place free parking wasnt packed at 11am. Service was good. Would go again.

It was time for a girls' brunch, and my best friend and I had no idea where to go. We wanted a spot that was convenient and easy to reach, and that's when we found this breakfast brunch place on Yelp. They have a hidden menu that you need to ask about for their specialty drinks. I went for a Mimosa and paired it with the crème brûlée topped with fruit and some avocado toast featuring pickled purple onions. My friend opted for the chicken and waffle sandwich. Everything was fantastic, and our order arrived in just 15 minutes. The restaurant was spotless, the customer service was exceptional, and the music set the mood perfectly. I'm already planning my return to explore more of their menu. And let me tell you, the avocado toast on a waffle is a must-try--absolutely amazing! You won't be disappointed!

Just as good as I remember! The Nashville chicken sandwich was very juicy and definitely hit the spot. And the waffle fries + lemonade made it even better! The space itself seems on the smaller side, but there's a bunch of indoor and outdoor seating so that shouldn't be a problem :)

Staff were friendly and attentive, they took my order right away and the food arrived quickly! The restaurant was clean with lots of open seating. They even have a selection of board & card games available to play while you wait! The food itself is the real highlight here. I love a good buffalo chicken, and Bruxie's Jumbo Chicken Tenders are my favorite chicken tenders I've had, ever. They're juicy, well-seasoned, and if you order them tossed in buffalo sauce, they're just perfect. For only $11.50, the combo also includes waffle fries and two dipping sauces (their homemade ranch is also incredible). pro tip: the jumbo tenders really are huge, so the 2 tender combo is more than enough food for me!

We visited Bruxie in El Segundo for the first time to celebrate my birthday with breakfast, and it was an amazing way to start the day! From the moment we walked in, our hostess made us feel so welcome and took the time to recommend several menu items. She was super helpful and patient as we figured out what to try. We ended up going with The Original--a perfectly seasoned premium chicken breast with chili honey and homemade slaw--and wow, it was delicious! We also tried the Kickin' "Nashville" Hot, which had the perfect balance of spicy, smoky, and creamy from the rémoulade sauce. Both were outstanding and left us wanting more! Our 2-year-old enjoyed the kids' waffle, though it was missing the berries and whipped cream it was supposed to come with. However, she didn't seem to mind at all--she devoured it anyway! The sides deserve their own shoutout. The tater tots and waffle fries were crispy perfection. My husband went as far as saying they were better than Chick-fil-A fries, and I have to agree--the crispiness was on another level! Overall, this place is a gem. It was the perfect spot to kick off my birthday with my family. The food, service, and vibe all exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back soon!

Came to Bruxie on a whim (was actually headed to Shake Shack next door), and discovered this place. I'm from the south and love hot chicken sandwiches, and this did not disappoint! It was spicy but not too much, and was seasoned perfectly. Fries were seasoned good as well. Had great customer service from Sanai, who assisted with anything I needed. Would highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

I have frequented another location at my previous work location...I witnessed the quality steadily decline over the years. I am pleased to say that the service and quality in El Segundo match the high bar initially set by the previous location... being close to home, I really hope that they qualify and service remain high at this store. As soon as we walked through the door we felt welcomed. The ambiance was definitely warm and everyone was extremely friendly. I accidentally spilled my drink and they were quick to clean it up. I felt so bad and like such a klutz but they were so nice and sweet and reassuring. They also replaced my drink as well! Fairly new place that just opened up. That's probably why walk-in is easy (for now). Great service and amazing food! Their patio is dog friendly for those of you who want to dine with your dog(s). My friends and I got the original, spicy chicken sandwich and chicken and waffle. They were all equally amazing, and the waffle was crisp and fresh! Nashville hot had the right amount of spice. The food is very good and comes out fairly quickly, if you're dining in. The atmosphere is just okay. A little too tight and the seating certainly is not the most comfortable. Not your usual fare. Very special menu that you won't find most places. Everything is delicious and prepared exquisitely. Nobody' makes a waffle like these guys--especially that goes with so many different things--especially beef short ribs. Very nice tap beer and wine selection! Love this place! read more

I am not sure if the people make the food better or vice-versa, but what I do know for sure is that both are top tier. these are some of the best waffles I have ever had. fluffy yet crispy and delicious with or without syrup! the chicken is juicy and succulent! Tried this place for the first time with a coworker and it will definitely be a go-to from now on. Sorry Shake Shack! The staff was amazing and helpful and the food was A+. I got a shake with my order which I ended up killing on the walk back to the office and my coworker got the caramel cold brew so it's not just the food that's good! I really appreciate that the staff is refreshingly upbeat and carry out casual conversation with you when you wait. It makes it feel like you're chatting with friends and not just another order number. We will definitely be back! The only con I have is that the food is messy to eat. Just make sure to grab some napkins and you're golden! read more

For my first time here , I ordered the country sausage and egg , the honey hot sandwich & the tots. The food was very delicious but the service was even better! Arrianna was my hostess and she was so amazing & very warming! She went over the menu very well with me and give me some great options ! Bruxie opened as a patio stand in Orange County, California in 2010 with one genius idea -- the Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich! We started with our recipe for the most perfect, crispy, not-so-sweet waffle. Then, the crunchiest, juiciest, most delicious fried chicken ever. And boom! Awesomeness was born.

YUM! The French Toast for me was underwhelming and it was cooked inconsistently with the other toast it came with ... wasn't my fav and wouldn't order again. Dry and not for me. Parking isn't my fav either, but I love the area.

For the first time ever, last night for Father's Day, I didn't see a single main dish item that interested me. We had all appetizers and salads. For some reason even the bacon biscuits underwhelmed. The flavor just wasn't as savory as I remember. The tomato salad had very sad tomatoes. The risotto lobster dish did not seem to have any risotto in it; it was all corn. The Muscles were good and the green beans were good. I also like the shrimp on toast, as strange as that sounded. I enjoyed the strawberry dessert as well. Thankfully, Justin, our waiter, took great care of us and made up for any disappointment we were experiencing. It seemed to me that this restaurant is now just an afterthought for the busy owners as they manage several venues. It is no longer the standout leader in town it once was.

Anyway, when we arrived, it was just after 10PM on a Friday night. Though the area was bustling, we were able to find easy street parking less than a block away. The restaurant was busy, but there were plenty of open tables. The place had a bit of the old diner type of vibe, but it was definitely more upscale and modern. We were greeted and seated right away. As we sat down, I saw some of the food being brought out and everything looked great. The menu was quite vast, so it took some time to decide. We decided to start out with the California Tots. They were a huge plate of crispy tots with cheese sauce, bacon and lots of other toppings. It was probably enough for us to share for dinner. However, I then had my mind set on the Tuna Manhattan, which was sort of a fancy tuna melt. The offered a regular tuna melt (off menu) if I preferred. The Tuna Manhattan was served on a bun with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a huge slice of avocado. It came with a side salad, fries, or soup. They also offered me some other sides I could substitute as well, such as onion rings or sweet potato fries. When I asked about the soup selection, they gave me four I could choose from. I ordered the French Onion. Anyway, the portions were generous and everything was delicious. It was also a great value for the amount and quality of food. The Kettle is open 24 hours. If you ever want late night (or anytime) eats in Manhattan Beach, I highly recommend The Kettle for a good solid meal.

But no worries, we love leftovers! Food is always so creative and wonderful.at Tin Roof. Although we no longer live in Manhattan, still one if our favorite restaurants. Food and service are stellar! We started with cocktails, and of course prepared by our favorite bartender / cocktail specialist extraordinaire, Clark. Off Your Head (Bloody Mary) and Ophella's White Sangria. Both were very tasty! Tin Roof has an excellent cocktail program as does their Simmzy's locations. We started out with Brussel Sprouts. Definitely a hit with the whole table. Tin Roof definitely has the best around, flavorful with a nice crunch, never soggy! We all ordered a variery of starters for our first course. Several had Ceasar Salads. Several had the Watermelon and Feta Salad. One had the Bloddy Mary Deviled Eggs, and another had the Fig; Pistashio, and Cottage Cheese Toast. Everyone loved what they ordered. We were full before our next courses arrived! Our server was Malcolm. He was very attentive even though it was an extremely busy afternoon since it was Father's Day. He was very helpful explaining some of the options only offered on today's menu. They offered a Bistro Burger (five out of six of us ordered!) and I wanted to know how different this burger was from their Simmzy's Burger (my personal favorite). He was spot on, explained it was smokey in flavor and quite different with the pretzel bun. It was so.good, served with fries (best shoestring fries!), onion rings, and piled so high you had to use a fork and knife to eat it! We left beyond full! Definitely we will be back soon!

The restaurant vibe is a modern-day/ 1990s Mexico City taqueria. You can choose to sit or hang out at one their stand-up tables. We ordered two, two-taco convos. The asada (steak) was perfect and cooked over a charcoal grill. The lengua was tender and savory. And the chicken juicy and tangy. The combos come with beans and rice. Everything tasted like something you'd get from a great backyard Mexican BBQ. We also got to try their Horchata, Jamaica and cucumber with pineapple drinks. All were perfectly balanced. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in El Segundo and possibly the South Bay. If you're looking for truly genuine Mexican restaurant with all the trimmings, this is the place.

Pros: chicken perfectly crispy and juicy inside. The waffle was lite, not heavy and sweet. Great stuff! Tater tots are sooo gooood! The salad is large and filling. The photos they have, are what you get. Dang! How do they do it? I've been all over LA eating fried chicken, Bruxie has some secret the world needs to know. The atmosphere and vibe was on point with the theme and the need for a joyful restaurant. The best part: customer service! Rae, who served us, deserves one hell of a raise. Another thing I don't find in LA, service. Here, they helped me every time my hand thought about going up. Even the manager did his rounds. Rae IS the best customer service in LA. Fact! Lol Cons: kinda looked around and thought hard, couldn't find one except maybe the chair was too hard? Nah, it's a 5 restaurant. Oh and I never give 5 stars 100% so this place gets it. I had a bit of a rough start this morning when I showed up to pick up my UberEats order for breakfast, only to realize it had been placed at a different location across town. I was frustrated and running late to work, but Jessica, one of the staff members, immediately noticed my situation and went above and beyond to help. She kindly spoke with her manager and they were both incredibly accommodating, agreeing to fulfill the order on the spot despite the mix-up. Since it was my first time, I mentioned that to the cashier, and he was super helpful. He recommended the chicken sandwich on a brioche bun with coleslaw, and I'm glad he did--it was packed with flavor. Honestly, I enjoyed it more than Dave's Hot Chicken. Cons: The Mac and cheese was extremely unappetizing, making me question why it's even on the menu. The taste was so bad that it's hard to describe. The fries were bland. First visit to Bruxie today and loved everything! My husband had the sandwich with the waffle bread (honey hot) and he enjoyed every bite. He's not a big fan of overly sweet, and the waffle was great flavor. He also got the Cajun tots and they were well flavored. I got the tenders (also honey hot) and loved them!
