Delicious! Definitely get the cement brûlée. If you get the original, get a side of syrup. The BLT was good too. Note it takes a while to get your food but it is worth it and the employees are kind. Their sweet tea was also the right amount of sweet for my liking. Will be back again. read more

Food : 10/10!! I miss bruxie and I love how it's a lot closer to home now! The food is still as good as it always has been. I always get the original sandwich there and it never disappoints! The desserts are also delicious! So recently I've tried the crème brûlée dessert waffle, the chocolate chip, and the Nutella with strawberries. It's all been delicious!! The crème brûlée is a 10/10. The chocolate chip waffle was I'd say a 6/10, it's just a waffle with chocolate syrup and whip cream, something pretty basic. But the waffle is extremely fluffy! The Nutella was also a 10/10! Service : they are very fast, friendly and efficient Ambiance: the place is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be a struggle, but there's a vons across the street with lots of parking! read more

Got a great walk frm Junipero to Bruxie..it was not our goal but my son was hungry. He doesn't remember having Bruxie so I needed to remind him what it was abt. Ordered: 2 pieces of chicken with a waffle Creamsicle shake Fries Lavender cold brewed ice coffee The fries were so good and crispy and airy not dense. The creamsicle shake was very yummy ((frm what my son said)). The waffles were so delicious and crispy and soft at the same time! It one do the best waffles we had and it comes with the cutest maple syrup personal take home jar! Honestly that was top it off. The chicken was very flavorful and moist. The service was good. Stumbled upon this place after I was recommended by a friend, boy did I stumble on the right place! Upon first going in, the service from Monet was beyond amazing! The staff is so nice! Waffle- chefs kiss Tots- immaculate Strawberry lemonade - best in the city And like u are literally on the beach and they have free parking too!! All I can say is the customer service and food were bomb. The manager checked on us, we got sauces on the house and we ate every drop and crumb. I couldn't even take photos because I ate everything. We picked up some chicken fingers to go here and boy oh boy did we love them! I am not a fan of chicken fingers (too dry) but these were juicy and tender and delicious. Our first time visiting and it won't be our last with those delicious sauces and the friendliest service I have EVER encountered in a fast-casual place. So this is my son's favorite place to go. He's a college student and whenever he gets a chance, this is what he wants to eat. They give you a lot of food. I'm not gonna go against that. I'm just not as much a waffle kind of person. I did really like the chicken though, I would've got the regular macaroni and cheese next time I got the one that had everything on it and it was a bit spicy. It tasted like buffalo sauce overall great food though. read more

What are you doing if you're not bringing your pup here on your day off for some chicken and waffles? My heart was so happy to learn there was a Bruxie down the street from me, especially after I could no longer order delivery from Roscoe's. In town visiting my aunt/uncle that lives down by shoreline. She got us breakfast from this place which consisted of a huge waffle and 2 chkn tenders. The breading on the chkn was so freshly battered and fried. The waffle was so good it was nice soft and a lil crunch on the edges. Decided to try this place out since I live close by and let me tell you i will NOT be returning. The young man at the counter was VERY rude and made it seem like I was the bother for ordering food. It wasn't anywhere near closing time either so I am not sure why the hostility. He spoke in a very condescending tone and made it seem like I was unwelcome there He made the whole experience just a drag, the food was great but with the service I got I just felt like a bother being in the restaurant so I took my food to go. Really put a damper on the whole mood. Wish you guys had better staff:( read more

Food was as good as any of their other restaurants, but menu was smaller. The thing I was looking forward to for breakfast when we went was not offered at this particular location. I asked the guy at the counter basically "wt..." and he said he had no idea but ai wasn't the first who had asked for Green Eggs & Ham sandwich. Only thing they didn't have on hand was pesto. I mean really...? That's ownership decision not the guy taking the order. Clean place, outdoor patio was nice. Parking like anything in this area of LB is little to be desired. I went to Bruxie tonight for the first time. I live across the street. Here's what I know. Long Beach hosts a marathon (and half marathon) every year. Bruxie had just opened. I saw (my balcony looks at ocean blvd) a gentleman from Bruxie (owner? Idk for sure) running water and food continuously throughout the race. It warmed my heart to see that. Two.. I'm embarrassed to say this but I just went there for the first time tonight. First off, whoever was working at the register at about 4:30p.. you are amazing. Thank you for being so friendly and offering me a custard sample. I hate you for that and I love you for it at the same time. I hope your life is filled with beautiful, heartwarming memories. Secondly, the chicken strips I had were .. kinda great. The chicken, the dipping sauce.. oof. It's a good thing I waited this long to go. This place is going to bankrupt me. Great food. I've been to the ones in El Segundo, Orange, and Santa Monica and they're all excellent but this one was just okay at best. I went in last night and the staff seemed to be not very friendly. Both the waffle and the chicken seemed to taste better at the El Segundo location too. Also I found what appeared to be a very thin piece of hair or a really long piece of lint in my waffle. I'll just drive to a different location next time. read more

Super happy when this opened that I purposely scheduled brunch for my bike riders group. I must say, I am still dreaming about their food. Mmmm. Just don't run your eyes after eating their spicy chicken sandwich. Not only will your mouth be burning, so will your eyes. But if you do, just ask for a tiny little bit of milk and pour it in your eye. lol. It worked indeed. Their service is remarkable although their "ordering area" can get crowded but maybe because when I went it was opening weekend. I can also imagine that the dining room could be packed but we went at 10:30 am and found a long table to fit all of us. So if you are going with a bunch of people, go early. If you are biking on the path, it's easy to get to. There's a few parking spots so if you drive, might need to circle around a bit or park on the beach lot and walk up. read more

Waffle mania, pure and simple. First off: they had parking in the property. Then there was the menu - I couldn't decide between dessert for dinner or chicken. I settled on the basic chicken and waffle with coleslaw as my side. The dog wholeheartedly agreed. We exited to the covered patio, cheery music and well lit. Boomer had the water bowl to open with. Soon my dinner was set before me, the mouthwatering began. Do you think I'm kidding? Did you have her have one of those moments where your mouth starts to drip because everything looks so delicious? Then you will understand. Boomer even got a cup full of tiny treats which he ate one by one, savoring them all. (Who am I kidding, he snarfed them!) the chicken was tender, juicy, battered goodness, the perfect fried chicken served in a waffle bent like a taco shell. The coleslaw was perfect, crunchy and sweet. The waffle was the perfect lightness, not too heavy, not too thin. They know what they're doing when it comes to the waffle. I'm glad I didn't order dessert because I could not have finished it. However, I will be back and take a walk through the desert menu. The best part, for me, was a short walk to the end of the Belmont pier after dinner to let it all settle. It was a perfect warm night, and it really is about their location. I never suggested that it was a "hidden fee", I just pointed out that it is a very high fee for ordering online. If Diana feels that ordering online is so onerous, then maybe she should deactivate that feature and encourage her customers to phone in their orders. Diana should also consider not badgering customers that did not have a good experience with her restaurant and consider taking some classes in Customer Service 101. The food has been consistently good every time. The location is a big plus too. It's right by the beach, so it's a perfect spot to grab something to eat before or after walking along the beach. The interior was charming, but we opted to sit on the patio for some fresh air. The patio was enclosed, spacious, and clean. We ordered waffle sandwiches and fresh orange juice. I love Bruxie so much it's not even funny. I think I love it even more than howlin rays. I can't eat at the usual fried chicken franchises anymore because they're so bad compared to bruxie. Bruxies chciken tenders are so thick and juicy. The breading and seasoning is to die for. The bruxie sauce and ranch is delicious. That's the part you can't sauce your way out of. Saigon Street was my favorite flavor. It had the Vietnamese fish sauce wing profile I wanted: savory, a little sweet and solid overall. I would've liked more tang, but I'd order the flavor again. The problem was that almost half of that batch were tiny overcooked flats with barely any chicken on them. At that point, they're basically saucing bones. Korean Kick was solid: sweet with a little heat, pretty much what I expected. Classic thick Yangnyeom profile without blazing spice. Cali Rub reminded me of a BBQ-style seasoning, but there wasn't enough rub on mine. Smoky, sweet and it works well. I actually enjoyed this one a lot, it just needed more rub. Bomb flavor, light execution. Peking was my least favorite. It was edible enough, but it tasted more like char siu than Peking. Deep red, thick, sweet-savory and missing the plum-style tang I expected. Basically char siu that never saw the fire. If they called it char siu, I'd probably have fewer complaints. Calling it "sweet and sour" just made the missing tang stand out more. The seasoned fries were rough. They're that battered, seasoned dredge-style fry, similar to Rally's or Checkers, so they're already on the oily side by design. Enjoyable for a few bites and that's about it. The garlic noodles had a really good chewy texture, but they were dry as hell and the garlic was missing in action. I mostly tasted parmesan and parsley more than anything. Great chew, no garlic, no moisture. For dipping sauces, the blue cheese was okay. The honey mustard leaned more savory, almost like Chick-fil-A's Honey Roasted BBQ packet, instead of bright, sweet and tangy. Not really what I want from honey mustard. Veggies were fine: thick cut and crisp. Pickup was fine, but the location is annoying if you're just trying to grab food and go. You have to park in the structure and pull a ticket. First 90 mins free if you wanna walk around or dine in. Fire Wings has good flavor ideas, but this order had too many execution issues. I'd still consider trying it again because some flavors worked, but the chicken needs to meet the sauces halfway.
