I was glad to hear that they were coming to Long Beach. I discovered this place back in 2013-2014 in Chino Hills, and have gone to a number of their locations. Before Long Beach, I'd drive to Orange. I've had two visits here and the first was good, but the second wasn't as positive. The chicken was good but I noticed they made the pieces bigger. Meh....I like the size of the previous strips. The fries were either overcooked or old. My son who had his food delivered, has had all negative experiences. He doesn't get the food he ordered or fries have been old. The location is clean and service is good. I want to give this location a chance and hopefully things will improve. If not, I'll make the drive to Orange. read more

Trigger warning: spider. This place is so good! Best waffles ever! I usually get the grilled cheese waffle. Or the classic naked waffle. It's perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The Vermont maple syrup is to die for! My boyfriend gets a chicken and waffle combo. The waffle fries are also super tasty. The crème brûlée waffle is perfect for a sweet treat. Staff is super sweet, helpful, friendly, and very competent. Only downside is, some spiders moved into the outdoor seating area. Really wanted to try this place out with my girlfriend. When we got there it wasn't that busy, at all. There was a lady in front of us and another couple. They all got seated immediately. When my girlfriend and I walked up the worker asked what do we want we said something about the waffle and I believe Mac and cheese just for him to say they probably wouldn't be able to take us for 30 minutes to an hour so we just walked out. read more

First time here as we're new to the area where there happens to be many chicken and waffle spots. This one has been the best so far. I ordered the two jumbo tenders with fries and my partner ordered tenders and waffles. The waffles were so flaky, buttery and delicious. A lot of the ones we tried before were soggy and too dense. Large variety of dipping sauces with deliciously flavored chicken was awesome as well. We were greeted and served by Dora, who made the experience so comfortable and we felt very accommodated as she made sure to check in with us often and always had a smile. I used to love this place. Ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast waffle with spiced tots. Tots amazing..but the waffle quality seems like it was made by somebody who just lost their puppy. I found the chicken to be juicy. The seasoning was pretty mild. I would like to try the more spicy seasoning next time. The waffle was like a Belgium style. It was fresh and provided a good vessel for the chicken. Just wish it was thinner & easier to fold. They provided a small bottle of maple syrup. Wish it was a little bit larger. The honey hot chicken sandwich was amazing but I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to handle the heat it's pretty hot. I'm more of a medium to low heat. I drove off and called back to see if they had a milder sandwhich for the next time I come and Q was amazing again by offering me a regular chicken sandwich that has no heat. I accepted and will definitely be a returning customer. Give it a try. Decided to come after my boyfriend saw there was a new location in Long Beach. This is my first time at any Bruxie. Its small location with the main part of the building being where the orders are taken and they have a patio style enclosed dining area. We arrived on a Saturday at 12 pm it was quite busy and had to wait on the chairs outside for a bit until a spot opened up. They have a variety different ways to eat the waffles. I ordered the Nashville Hot with spiced tater tots. The waffle was delicious and not too thick for my sandwich and had a nice crisp to it. The chicken was huge and the spice crept up on me towards the end. Although delicious the batter was a little to thick and towards the end I found the spice/seasoning to be a bit too much so I couldn't finish all of it but did eat as much as I could . The spiced tots were so good and crispy. My boyfriend got the holy chicken and loved it. He also ordered a pumpkin cold brew and was really good, however it did arrive later then all the food so I didn't get to take a picture of it. The service was great and the staff were really friendly. At the end of our meal we were approached by a staff member with a Halloween bucket letting us know they are giving away a free gift card to each table. Thought it was really nice of them to do that and a great way to promote the restaurant. Wanted to give honest and detailed review of the food and my experience. 4.5/5 read more

the resteraunt is so clean & well-lit! that's the first thing i noticed. it just has an amazing setting and the food is beyond amazing. i'm not from california, so i'm typically very critical of how people cook their chicken if southern style and bruxie honestly has the chicken down PERFECTLY. 10/10 flavor, texture, and juiciness. it is perfectly seasoned and fried without it being crazily greasy. i wish i took a picture before smashing it but it was so delicious, i reccommend the chicken and waffles combo with the fries because they're so crispy and fresh. the service here was amazing & my food came out quickly thanks to eli and the kitchen staff. read more
