What a unique idea. Anyone can grow their own oyster mushrooms very inexpensively with their kits! Love it.

First time I got a leg of lamb and more recently some double cut pork chops…read more I'm sure they are helpful if you ask questions but they were pretty busy both times I came in and it felt like you needed to know what you wanted for the most part. For the leg of lamb, I think most people get a whole leg of lamb. That was way too much for me and I think the butcher thought I was confused when I asked for less and asked me what I was doing with it. He ended up saying he could give me a half leg of lamb and I agreed. Thar was about 3 and a half pounds (bone included) which was the perfect amount. I seared it and then braised it and the meat fell off the bone. Delicious and the price was pretty good. I was cooking my first pork chop and decided to come here to get it. Their pork isn't labeled as Berkshire or Duroc or anything but that probably keeps the price down. For chops, they had boneless, bone in, and double cut (which was also bone in). I mentioned I wanted it to be about 2 inches thick and the butcher said to get the double cut.I got 2 beautiful thick pork chops for $6.99 a pound so about $18 total. The regular cut bone in pork chops were the same price though obviously smaller. I brined this overnight and reverse seared it and it was great. The chop was a loin chop- loin and then a tenderloin nugget- not a pure rib chop. Cooked really nicely and was tender which I think was partially the overnight brine and also their pork. They do sell some vegetables and grocery supplies if you want to just make a single stop. They also have a deli with some sandwiches that looked good and prepared foods. I was very focused on buying the things I came in for and getting on with my day both times but I would like to take a closer look in the future as it looked good. Solid butcher shop and clearly loved since it was busy both on a weekend and during the week. I'm sure I will be back.

I would go to corner candy store for each school to buy my favorite candies through my formative years. Candies were also part of celebrations in the Mission involving a piñata .As an adult you will see me at See's when I get a sweet tooth craving. There is a place which sells chocolate from Switzerland and the Philippines and if you are sour because it's Monday or just everyday of the week in SF you should visit a place called Giddy. On Spring stroll in my old school stomping grounds I walked on Noe street and landed on Market at Giddy. Inside it's a candy store with lots of variety of gummies and licorice along with some international chocolate from the Ecuador and the Philippines. What you will also find a lot of varieties of candies which are very sour like some in SF. You will find lots of sour fizzy chewy cherries along sour mango belts. You will also find the classic sour cherry balls and berry sour foamy and sour strawberry and lemon butterflies along with a favorite from Sweden known as Bubs which is a sour strawberry and lemons skull gummy. Giddy is a good place to get sweet or sour. Sour is how you "felt" on a Monday when the chocolate in your pocket on a hot day "melt" and the best way in the past how it was "dealt" is go grab for a sour "gummy cherry belt" On Market street there lots of places for foods I have "eaten"some want on a cheat day a place for some "cheatin" at a place with chocolate from Ecuador , Philippines and Switzerland which is a bit "sweeten" and some like it sour like the strawberry and lemon skulls called Bubs which are from "Sweden"

And I'm so glad I did . They didn't have any samples for you to try so it's a gamble to buy one. My friend and I ended up getting the smaller version it try it out first which was a small bar for $7.00. I didn't have anything to compare this to besides the shake shack Dubai drink and this was just a bar version of that . This was pretty good and it had the pistachio crunch. I left my car in the fridge and when I took it out , it was a little melty. So I recommend putting it on fridge until you bare ready to eat it. I'm going to go back and get the larger one for $20.00 in my next visit.

I like the style of the vendor with milk chocolate bars piled up perfectly. It's a shame that there's no dark chocolate nor white chocolate flavors. Talk about lack of variety. A sweet taste of milk chocolate covered pistachio filling is a same feeling as taking a bite at a Kit-Kat bar. Small bars: $7 each. Large bars: $20 each. Not a bad deal for this small unique vendor near the food court. While Westfield in Market St lost several retail stores, I'm hoping Stonestown Galleria doesn't suffer the same fate since few businesses closed down while new ones after Round 1 will soon pop up. I'm glad Pistachio Dubai Chocolates accepts cash.

Firstly, it was my first time shopping at a co op and I really really really love that aspect of it. Anytime I can support a business like this, I want to! But beyond that, I was skeptical that the prices would be outrageous and was fairly surprised that they really weren't! Ok sure, some items were pricey, and that's true for any small store in this city, but for the bulk items and dry goods, the pricing was incredibly reasonable! I even found the same scones I buy at my local box box grocery store for cheaper here!! What?! I was also just blown away by the variety of choices.. they've got everything here.. produce, condiments, dry goods, chips, snacks, bulk items, tea, medicines and supplements, and a section of boutique handmade goods that was so awesome to look through!! I don't live close by but I will be back anytime I go to see my friend (which is often).

This space was formerly known as the Four Seasons Market. It's located in West Portal on West Portal Avenue in San Francisco and it's called Spanglers Market. On a Winter Stroll at West Portal on a Winters Day in January I finally walked inside Spanglers Market. Inside you will find ice cream by the pint and frozen pies. I had to try their sandwiches. I ordered the roast beef sandwich at the deli in the back and it was a bargain for San Francisco standards at $12. The roast beef was fresh and the dutch crunch was soft and overall it was delicious. This place is a must visit if you are looking for the fresh meats for that BBQ or for that Super Bowl party. There is a market in West Portal in San Francisco you should take a "stab " and go to the butcher and request a meat "slab" and this also the place where you can "grab" wild shrimp and Dungeness "crab" The representation in SF has been "murky "so come to the good side of San Francisco to a market which sells $12 sandwiches at the deli like roast beef , Bahn mi ( Banh Mi) and "turkey", and they also have moonbeam cheese for sale which seems kind of "quirky", and also they sell different sauces and "beef jerky"
