Went last night for a baseball fundraiser to support friends. Service was very slow. My Turkey bacon sandwich was terrible. Bread was soggy, bacon was super flimsy and not crispy, cheese was greasy.....overall just terrible quality. Maybe it was just a bad day but I will not order that again for sure. read more

Busy Saturday nite in Lubbock. Waited 20+ minutes then was sat in a booth. Nice environment. After a several minute wait the waitress finally showed up; took our drink order and from that point we waited...and waited. Finally the drinks show up, she took our order annnnd we waited...and waited...and waited. Food finally shows up and we are missing one burger and fries. What is interesting is that all four of us ordered the same thing (1 without cheese). The burgers had little to no taste; the fries were "eh", the tator tots were awful. I get it, busy nite, but service and food was below par for a place that should have better standards. Most likely will not be a repeat customer if I have a choice. read more

A few Sundays ago, we ordered curbside pickup on a 4-person order. Every single order was either missing an item or completely wrong. For example, one of my co-workers ordered a grilled chicken salad. He received a pile of sliced grilled chicken and a cup of dressing....no salad/lettuce whatsoever. Three of us ordered a dinner meal which includes two sides (we all ordered two sides). Two of those orders were missing at least one side item and the final order was missing both sides. Friendly and courteous staff. Very patient and good attitude. The food was delicious and overwhelming. Be ready to be full. Burgers are big and well topped. Fire fries are just that....fire! The steak was juicy but slightly too much salt favored. Nice atmosphere. I enjoy the multi television shows. Our waitress, Kimmi, I can't thank her enough for the suggestions and service. After a few visits, some cracks in the shine of this place are emerging. Long and odd wait times for some, but others seem to just walk in and get seated within a few minutes. Second would be the service. Last couple of times, our servers have been extremely slow and inattentive. Not bringing things you asked for, walking by your table without checking in once in a while, and taking FOREVER to bring the check/cash you out. The food is good, the staff are friendly and helpful, the seating is comfortable. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 5 star review is the fact that the music is ridiculously loud. So much so that we can't hold a conversation with the people at our own table. For the love of all things good and pure, TURN THE MUSIC DOWN. It. Is. Too. Much. Went to celebrate my son's Birthday but whatever you do don't let them take your dessert if you take one with you... I took a cheesecake with writing & the candles in the bag & the cheesecake came back with the writing all messed up... where it was not handled correctly & they lost one of the candles that was in the package in the bag... they never did find it at all so we had to sing without any candles on it... Service wasn't great either & we had to sit in 2 separate booths because they didn't have a big enough table for 11 people to fit in. read more

Since this is a new place, we decided to check it out, and we were not disappointed! Since this place is located in the mall parking lot, there is plenty of parking space, and it's easy to get in and out. We came in around dinner time on a Tuesday, and surprisingly didn't have to wait to be seated. The hostess was very professional and made sure we got a booth. (we requested one) Our server was very polite, and made sure we knew about their specials going on and answered any questions about the menu we had. Our food was cooked exactly how we wanted. We did see the manager for that night going around to each table, but skipped us probably two times, that was kind of upsetting, but maybe they were just busy at the moment. Overall review: I don't really enjoy leaving bad reviews bad this one felt necessary. I will put this in only a few word, horrible food and service. Me and my family came earlier today to enjoy dinner only to be very disappointed. Food review: I ordered an avocado bacon burger only to be surprised with the meat being very pink and raw, the bacon was very burnt and the overall appearance of the burger was messy. My special friend ordered I believe an egg burger only to be disappointed as well. They had broke the egg yolk before it had arrived to our table, they also overcooked this patty and the presentation just was not it. My two kids had order a cheeseburger and a cheese pizza. The burger was built okay and had no appearance issue; however, my sons pizza was absolutely terrible. The tomato sauce was very sweet along with the crust being burnt. Customer service: Now this was no better then the food was. Our waiter during our entire visit only came by once or twice. We were left without refills our entire visit. Extra notes: We waited for about thirty minutes just to get my daughters broccoli and my wings. When the food didn't turn out right we had called the manager just to find out that he wanted to put us at fault. He had claimed "if the patty was that bad you still managed to eat the burger" he was very hesitant to take it off our bill before he finally revised the issue with the burger. Final review: Knowing that this establishment and just opened I'm going to give it some slack. Most restaurants that recently open have issues like this. This review is about 50-50 on food and service. The burger I had was OK. Tasted fine as I hoped it would. We were recommended to try the fire fries. Well, I expected some seasoning to be on them, but it's hard to comprehend just how much. The picture doesn't do justice. You couldn't get past the granules of season to the fries. It might have been ok if they'd have backed off on that aspect. Service. Wait time was supposed to be 25 to 35 minutes and it was on the long end of that. Probably to be expected. The restaurant wasn't full by any means. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and it took nearly 25 minutes for them to come out. They also tasted fine but that was a pretty long wait for a restaurant that wasn't that full. And then it was probably another 25-35 minutes before the entrees made it. Our server came back several times to tell us we were next, or third in line, or it shouldn't be much longer. And then we still had to wait a lot longer. So overall we were fairly disappointed with this relatively new restaurant in town. read more

People are amazing had a birthday cake and they asked if they should put it in the fridge to keep it cold for us. And when it came time to light the cake they provided a lighter since we had forgotten one. Hot and Spicy Chicken Sandwich was SO SLAY. Always get it my only COMPLAINT is that the portions are too big and food goes to waste. The vibes are ELITE. LEDS FOR DAYS. Although playing your own ads while we are there is a little bit of a push over ngl. The service was amazing waitresses don't lingers. This place was PHENOMENAL. My husband and I ate here and enjoyed every minute. I had the fried chicken with a cup of chili and both were hearty and delicious. My husband had the bacon guacamole burger and loaded fries and he practically licked the plate clean! We also enjoyed drinks while we were here which were amazing and delivered quickly! I had the strawberry jalapeño margarita (Red Devil?) and it was just the right amount of spicy, a cosmo which was not overly sweet and a raspberry margarita that tasted delicious! Went for a company dinner and the atmosphere here is perfect. It's a great place to drink, watch games, and eat good food. I got a sample of everything and I can say they do all things really good. Pizza, burgers, onion rings all worth it. Fried pickles id pass on but anything on the menu is a safe bet. read more

We celebrated a graduation at Bubba's 33. Our call ahead seating got a little off track. Hannah the hostess was awesome and got David involved. They got us taken care of and sat within about 5 minutes of our original quote. Zandra was our server and she was the absolute best. We were a party on nine and the entire crew took care of us like family. The food was awesome and the service was fantastic. Sitting outside was great as there was a lovely breeze. Bubba's provides an extensive drink menu and serves good food. Our service is always good, but this time we experienced something a little different. The manager saw our food as it was leaving the kitchen and made her staff remake my wife's steak. She came to our table and explained that "I would not have eaten the steak, I would not expect one of my customers to do so either". She offered an appetizer for waiting. We declined as we had already had one and did not want to over indulge. I cannot remember her name, but this is exceptional service. Above and beyond. This young lady to personal ownership of the issue before the problem came to the table and comped our original appetizer anyway. All of this with a packed restaurant and people waiting. We have been to bubbas many times but Wednesday night was not good. First they stuck us in a corner table that seats 6 and there was only 2 of us. I ordered the triple margarita and did not get any salt on the rim. We ordered wings and onion rings which came out fairly quickly but our table was out of ketchup. Our waitress was nowhere to be found so I had to get up and take a bottle off of another table. We also had to wait for our waters and finally our check. Poorest service in town. I was SO disappointed- took 1.5 hours to get our food and it was not served altogether. So some of us were done with our food before the others in our 3 party were served. Why go out to dinner to eat together? Was told the manager was too busy and if we wanted to talk to her it would be awhile - waited 1.5 hours already - definitely not getting my business or recommendations again. If a manager can't take the time to speak to patrons then this patron can't be bothered either. Clean and busy the food was amazing the only thing we saw was a Hispanic girl with long black hair up in a clip sitting at the bar for a little and then she was scratching her back in her shirt and scratching the front of her chest inside her shirt. She got up after talking to what we thought was the manger lady and she continued to scratch in her shirt in the front like I'm talking down half arm in her shirt. After changing our mind several times we decided to go to Bubbas because you can never go wrong with Bubbas. Today was the first time we were unhappy with the pizza. New place in town, granddaughter and I had lunch on Friday and I'd eaten at one in San Antonio, so was familiar with the menu and atmosphere which being a sports bar, is quite noisy and full of energy. We started with a half order of delicious onion rings and shared a small meaty pizza and I had a small side salad which is a meal in itself. We had a short wait but not bad.
