Tonight I celebrated my 33rd birthday with friends and family here. There was 14 of us and I expected everything to be mediocre. I called yesterday and spoke with David because I wanted to make sure we didn't just surprise the restaurant with a large party because originally it was supposed to be about 20. David was so professional and nice on the phone and give me all the information I needed so I knew exactly what to expect. I called back today at 3 PM to confirm that we would be there with the amount of people and David advise me that it could be a little bit of a wait once we got there at five because there was a party before us. Everyone in my party started showing up around five and there was a little bit of a wait but it was completely expected and David came and checked on us and let us know the updates! The table was cleared and set up for us immediately after the other party left our drinks were ordered in a timely manner and brought out to us so fast! Our waitress was absolutely amazing! She was completely on top of everything, our food order was taken in a timely manner and she checked on us enough but not too much she pre-bussed our table and she kept her drinks filled and she was so unbelievably nice! I was definitely surprised by the birthday cookie and ice cream and the singing and the balloon! This is the first time in years that I haven't been disappointed at my birthday dinner. We had a late lunch yesterday at Bubba's. This restaurant is always consistent. The food is always great and the service is as well. Our server Madeline was fantastic. We ordered fried pickles which were great. Do had fish sandwich and my daughter had chicken tender platter. We both loved our meal. This restaurant is different, as it is always a pleasure. If I could give zero stars I would. Visited here for the first time tonight and had horrible food and service. Please don't order a salad and expect to get the "fresh salad greens" that are described in the menu. Instead I got the bitter stem pieces. I was told by the server that it just comes that way. The manager then came over and said that it must have "just been a bad batch". Then offered me an appetizer for my next visit. No apology or effort put into the interaction. This place is always super busy especially on Friday's. My boyfriend and I decided to try it out and order curbside pick up. I placed my order at 7pm with a pick up for 745. I called 3 times waiting in the parking lot for my order and didn't get it till after 8pm waiting for over a half an hour. When we got home and started eating my boyfriend and I didn't even finish our regular cheeseburgers because they weren't cooked all the way. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

But unfortunately this time when I ordered pick up and got it curbside...I came home and was eating my wings and three of them were still not good...they were like rubbery and had a weird coloring to them when I opened them up. We thought we would try this place! The menu pricing was very affordable and very pleasantly surprised how great the food was! We had wings, fry's, fried pickles, salad and desserts. All was great! Great atmosphere! Very friendly staff! Quick service, a TV for everyone, not just sports, not as loud as expected, and variety of areas to sit including outdoors. The fish and chips were incredible, crispy outside, thick and juicy inside. It had an after kick of heat that I wasn't sure where it was coming from. The fries were hot, crispy, and tasty. I am anxious to try the sweet potato fries also. Another in my party had hot fries and he was disappointed with the lack of heat. Kids portions were decent size and very inexpensive. Extremely surprised with this chain. My kids ordered burgers and fries and the portions were big for kids meals. We ordered the habanero burger and it had a fried habanero pepper in it. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. The fire fries were great, order some ranch on the side! again portion size we great. My visit or experience tonight was not up to par from my past experiences here. Many times before I am treated with outstanding service with food received in a timely manner. My visit tonight food was missing a few things from one appetizer here and there. Also requesting to leave some things out from another appetizer so my family could enjoy it which did not happen. I ended up keeping the nachos with all the loaded jalapeños on top but picked them out as much as I could but ended up being my appetizer versus a shared one. Last and most important my customer service server there was non existent. The waitress took my drink order and appetizers and was gone for a long time. I took my order from a female supervisor walking around, asking how I am doing. Also refill for drinks was from another walking around. The next time I saw my server was when she came up looked at the table and said " Oh your waiting on your Pizza". Even though she did not take that order for us. Last unexcused experience was walking toward the kitchen to ask one of the servers for a box to go for my food. Lucky I can pay with the machine or I might be there still waiting on our server. We live nearby abs have seen this place many times and finally gave it a try. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and spicy fries and my husband had the smoked turkey and bacon sandwich with tots. Both were extremely delicious! My chicken was juicy and not overly breaded or greasy. His sandwich had giant slices of thick Turkey and plenty of bacon. The focaccia buns were also very tasty.
