I ordered a $5 pilsner from the menu, the waitress offered a pilsner on draft without mentioning the $3 extra charge for it... I couldn't tell you her name or what specials they had.... Bubbles is the toast of the town! A fun setting, knowledgable staff, delicious food to accompany the wines - what more could you ask? The first time I was there I wanted to try a flight of Spanish wines and, although it wasn't on the menu, Jen brought me two tempranillos and one albarino - all delicious. This last time I visited, I brought along 5 friends. I ordered the Pinot Noir flight on the menu, all very good and generously poured. We shared a large cheese plate with an excellent selection of cheeses, fruit and nuts along with several other dishes. Yum! read more

Love this place! It's sooooo cute. Love the outdoor seating! So perfect for a warm summer night. Downtown Morgan Hill definitely needed a wine bar! It has so many other great restaurants down there but it was so nice to stumble across bubbles. Definitely will be coming back. Only downside, super super nice staff... Drink specials are the way to go,which are $5 for a heavy pour of great wine! Good atmosphere, friendly staff, quality wine at a quality price! The chocolate torte is delicious, and is made with no flour, so its extremely thick and rich. Would recommend the bergin Cabernet Sauvignon and the martin ranch 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon. I liked this place when I went with a female friend. I would have given them 5 stars based on that experience: Great location, amazing wine list; beer & wine cocktails, too! Also, FANTASTIC staff and awesome food! HUGH PORTIONS! The female server was very friendly, too. Sadly, when I went with my husband, she (same server) was really rude and came across as a bit of a snob. Until we left, and she was nice when we were leaving? Why doesn't anyone have moscato? It would be a great addition to a business catering to wine bar patrons looking for a nightcap. They have a blood orange mimosa that is... notsogood. We've been here a couple of times...the service is good, they were friendly and prompt. There is a wide selection of small plates, as well as cheese platters. The only thing is, the wine selection is limited for a wine bar. They only had one option of Merlot by the glass, which the server didn't exactly recommend. I lived in Morgan Hill from 1980-2000 and I remember this little bank, and now its a great wine bar. The have a great wine selection and cheese pairings. The best part is the converted bank vault which now serves as their wine cellar. Outstanding service, and great daily happy hour.. Can't go wrong. read more

This was my third visit here. While the first visit had the allure of a new place in town and a choice of wines I was not familiar with was great. However, my third visit this last Friday was very irritating. After ordering two flights and two appetizer breads the waitress, the water pourer and another wait person asked us too many times if we needed anything. What was really annoying was when my friend got up to use the restroom the waitress came and took two glasses that were not empty! As a matter of fact we had dinner in a restaurant across the street brfore coming to Bubbles. We just stopped by for a glass of wine ( or 2 ) buy we were turned away ( 45 min before closing time!) I totally understand the kitchen closing early but not to serve your patrons any drinks 45 min before closing time is simply bad for business. It does not take long to pour 2 glasses of wine ( well, I was going to have Champaign flight ) that is why it was really strange to be turned away way before closing time. Nice quiet place to have a glass of wine or champagne or two and some "Tapas" type food. Cheese & meat plates, flat beads, etc. You can actually have a conversation here without shouting over a TV. I have been to Bubbles maybe 10 times and it has usually been very enjoyable. Today, however, two young children were allowed to sit at the bar and chatter loudly disrupting the adult ambience at Happy Hour. When you pay top dollar (our tab was over one hundred dollars) you deserve to have a pleasant atmosphere geared to adult sensibilities. This is the perfect place to take a date or have a fun girl's night out. They have an amazing selection of drinks and food. I love the flat bread pizzas. My favorite is the Mediterranean flatbread. The brie crostini and hummus platter are a must have too. And don't forget to try their desserts. The Cheesecake and flowerless chocolate cake are both so delicious. We stopped here last week when we were driving back home from San Jose and decided to stop in Morgan while we waited for traffic to die down. I was not left disappointed! I had the bubbly sangria, which was absolutely amazing!! For food, my fiancé and I ordered meatballs that were delicious, and pulled pork sliders that were full of flavor. We were left wanting more. Also, the staff was so friendly, and would constantly make sure we fine. One of them took the initiative to turn the heater on right when we sat down, which I thought was so kind of her.
