    Cinnamon roll and kouign amann
    Sam R.

Literally no complaints I wish I lived in NYC to come here all the time Cinnamon roll was buttery, caramelized sugar bottom, wish there was more icing! Because it was so good Kouign-amann was very very good too, wish there was more raspberry filling and lemon curd. The guy who helped us was super friendly and nice! It's tiny inside so if there's people in there it can get crowded but when we went it was fine

Hands-down, this is the best gluten-free bakery in the world. I've tried France. I've tried UK US nobody is close to Bob's. If you want great baked goods gluten-free or not I'm telling you these are top 10% of any pastry. If you are GLUTEN-FREE OR VEGAN, your world just changed ! RUN don't walk to BUB's. !! ‍

Omigosh! What a great find by my son and NYC tour guide. We shared the carrot cake, which was incredibly delicious. And healthy too as Bub's does not use any of nine common allergens such as wheat, milk, etc. That is critical for us as Celiacs. But even if you don't have food allergies, you will love the taste of Bub's!

    Allergy free

There is an allergy free bakery in NYC and it's completely delicious and totally undetectable that it's not made with dairy, eggs or wheat. Four people ate the baked goods we bought. One had a dairy allergy and one had a wheat allergy. Everyone loved all of the food. The food is well made and made with quality ingredients to make such great items without the typical recipes. Thus, it's pricey. But, if you have serious allergies and typically can't have mainstream baked goods then it's worth it. The staff were totally friendly and encouraging about what to buy. It's a cute little shop with limited seating but it's constantly flowing. If you need allergy free food and are in NYC this is for you and your friends and family because no one will know the difference!

LOVE. The line was out the door but the staff kept everyone moving. They were incredibly nice. Cute, cozy (lol) place with some seating outside. They list out the ingredients for everything! I love that. I got the focaccia vegetable pesto sandwich which was good. The focaccia was a little hard but the vegetables soften the bread. Good flavor. I also got the cinnamon bun. A little on the hard side but rich and delicious.

Great bakery for vegan/GF/nut free options. The whole bakery is currently plant based and gluten free. I asked a staff member what the most popular items were and she noted the cinnamon bun and a scone. I decided to go for the seasonal option of an espresso budino muffin, which is in collaboration with Devocion coffee. The muffin was a little pricey at $7 each, but delicious. A crispy top and moist muffin with coffee inside, was unique and not overly sweet. Very good overall. I'll try the cinnamon bun next time. They also have savory sandwiches and sell coffee. The bakery is small with limited seating inside and no restrooms. There are a few benches outside to sit on too. Overall, cute bakery with friendly staff and delicious vegan /GF options. Items can range from $5.25 to $13+ and drinks from $4.25-$6.

Been there a few times and we ordered a few things. Attempted to get out of everything. But they were a bit pricey - Big Cinnamon roll 9.50 [that's a MUST GET!!] - Savory Danish 8.50 - Plain Bagel 4.75 with herb butter 2.00 [the best one I had so far] - Biscuit egg & cheese 12.50 - Banana pudding 5.50 - Devil's food cupcake 6.00 [so delicious] - Vanilla creme cupcake 6.25 [super moist] The staffs were super helpfu/patient on choosing the right dessert.

As someone with celiac disease thank you so much! This was the most memorable part of my New York trip. I never get to enjoy gluten free pastries since they are so hard to find and so limited. I literally cannot stop thinking about the ginger spice cookie. Incredibly delicious options. Thank you Bub's! Cute decor, kind and welcoming staff. Dying to come back!

Amazing pastries! I felt so safe eating everything and the ingredients are listed. I got a cinnamon roll, blueberry scone, and some raspberry tart with lemon curd on top. teared up a bit. we also took the cinnamon rolls home and warmed them up and they were divine and super flavorful truly gluten and dairy free heaven

Strawberry Balsamic Danish, Kouign Amann, Carrot Cake - Slice, ginger cookie

So so goooood! I can't believe this place is gluten free and entirely safe for celiacs. We got the cinnamon roll, ginger cookie, carrot cake, strawberry danish, passion fruit pastry. The passion fruit one wasn't our favorite (filling was good but the pastry itself wasn't the best), but the others were absolutely out of this world!

    Savory danish
    Megan W.

The savory danish has great flavor and tons of mushrooms. Would definitely recommend heated up. The cinnamon roll was extremely impressive considering its dairy and gluten free. Would definitely recommend. The texture is a bit like a pie crust mixed with a traditional cinnamon roll, very moist and good flavor. There was no line and a good number of seats. The staff was also very helpful.

I am still dreaming of that delicious mushroom, mustard danish delight! My friend, who is vegan, put Bub's on our must-try list for a recent trip to the city - and I am so glad we did! We both got vanilla lattes which were great, and then split a bunch of little treats...my favorite being a mushroom danish. Their iconic cinnamon rolls are also a must! Then we also both got two different cookies - chocolate chip and a ginger and spice (?) - but of which we really enjoyed. I can definitely see this being a place we stop in for every city visit - just be warned that there is extremely limited bench seating, so it's definitely more of a grab and go place!

I do not have any food allergies but the person i was traveling with did. It was awesome to find a location where they could order anything on the menu and feel safe doing so. We got multiple pastries and all were even better than their "normal" counterpart. Ice chai tea latte was amazing. Deff will be back!

I've never tried a Japanese cheesecake before and was extremely excited to be able to pick up some treats for my coworkers as well as my partner's birthday cake from Keki. Ordering is fairly straightforward and done with a simple machine outfront. Once your order is ready one of the staff members hands it to you through a window; there is no inside area accessible to customers but our food came quickly and we took it back to the office. The cheesecake was fantastic. I read a bit about the background of the shop online and how the owner really cares about using high-quality ingredients, specifically dairy. It was justas described, light and bouncy. I enjoyed how it was not overly sweet and found that it was all too easy to devour the entire cake over the course of two days. Despite it not having much weight to it, it traveled surprisingly well as I took it home on my three train commute! Similar to what others have said, the real highlight of the shop, in my opinion, are their cream puffs. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the outer layer was thin yet had a nice little crunch to it. We tried the classic milk, cookies & cream pistachio and ube flavors. Our favorite was the pistachio by far, which had such a unique yet decadent flavor and our second favorite was the milk cream puff. There's not much else I can say other than you really have to go here and try the desserts yourself. If you're a fan of Japanese desserts that are rich yet not too sweet, you'll be a fan of Keki.

There are lots of other tart places that do something sinilar and didn't really think these were that memorable. But read this keeping in mind I didn't try to cake items so that product may be better if all you're looking for is a light fluffy dessert that's not too sweet. Try something else here! Just did take out option here so not much to ambiance or service from my experience to speak on.

We worked with Eric via email and he was great managing and making sure everything was settled ahead of the event. On the day of our lunch, we arrived around 20 minutes early and the table was already set up. We had two servers throughout the meal and they were lovely. They made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed. For a large group reservation, they have a $60 minimum and you order everything ahead of time. (The afternoon tea set is mandatory for everyone to get). We had the afternoon tea set, caprese tarts and strawberry parfait for all attendees. The food was filling and tasty. And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.
