Bourbon bacon cheese burger and house chips. Bourbon Bacon Burger was delicious.

Great burgers and great beer! Served promptly and friendly. Huge selection of beers to choose from.

Great times enjoying the game. The food is spectacular. I love how they decorated the place for Easter weekend. Only one light suggestion is to wipe down menus and keep tables and such clean. Place just needs to be kept and cared for. But a couple times here and enjoyed the food. But just need cared for as all should be in food industry so trust is the kitchen is clean.

We used to love this place! Over the last 6 months or so I don't know what happened but it fell Off. Service and food! We ordered our usual the poutine, it used to come with everything on it and a big portion, last weekend when we ordered it, omg it was like 20 fires with gravy and tiny bit of cheese. It was not the same it was horrible. We couldn't believe it! The server was rushing us and it just seemed like they were over whelmed big time . I wish it was like b4! Not sure what happened!!! I wouldn't recommend going here. The bartender is very aggravated and annoyed with you when you ask her for a drink.

When I want a wide selection of beers or house made seltzers, with a fast delicious meal, I head to Beer Engine. They made the best house made seltzers in town. Not in a seltzer way, they have a large variety of beers to select from. The staff is always happy to provide a suggestion with a smile. This medium size place has a great patio for perfect for a summer afternoon stop while watching the locals travel by. The menu selection has items like burgers to pierogies, with some vegetarian options available.

This is always a reliable spot for good beer & burger. Love the small size of the spot. Have sat at the bar a couple times & table a couple of times. Also enjoyed brunch & the Bloody Mary bar. Just never go wrong here. Remember back when boys were small and each downed their burger, chef had to come out and meet the little ones that conquered their meal. Fun! (Oops, looks like I mentioned this in previous review.) Anyway, let me tell you about my Bourbon Bacon burger that was just SO good. I was skeptical of having gravy on my burger, so I asked for it on the side. And I'm so glad I did. Not because it was bad, quite the opposite! Damn tasty gravy that I could better savor by dipping each bite in. Mmm, mmm, mmm.

They serve brunch!!! I had no idea and I love that you don't need a reservation for Sunday brunch here yet they still have a decent crowd. They also serve their lunch menu for brunch so many options are available for all diets and preferences. Fun fact, they do a Bloody Mary bar with many fixings you can add to it!

I had read some positive things about this place, especially the burgers and poutine. So, in a poutine mood one night, we ventured over. The parking lot was pretty full but inside the restaurant, the volume was a decent level. The staff was friendly and inviting without being bothersome. We ordered a beer along with poutine and a burger. I think there was a non potato option for our side but we just went full in on the double potatoes! And, I am glad we did. Both the fresh made chips and poutine were delicious. The burger wasn't bad either. But... this meal was salty. Like, had a hard time finishing it even sharing it between the two of us salty. So, it was a good dining experience but we will still be hesitant to go back. It's definitely worth trying once but definitely can't make it a regular spot. The brew was good. So maybe just beer and a snack is the way to go.

There's a parking lot, which is like striking gold in Lakewood! We walk in on a Friday at 6:05pm and it wasn't busy at all; we were seated right away. It took forever for the server to come to our table, then forever for her to bring us our waters. I was so nervous that it was a foreshadowing of how long it would take to get our food... I like the fun, dive bar atmosphere. Things seemed a little bit sticky, but that goes along with any dive bar. We got the pierogi. I'm kind of a pierogi snob and these ranked at the very bottom of one's I've had. PASS. I got a Bella bean wrap, which had really no flavor other than rosemary. I appreciate them trying to be creative and do something different though. My husband got the bourbon back burger and he said it was one of the worst burgers he's ever had. Overall, I would not recommend this place at all!

Service was quick and nice. They have a great variety of beers and the menu is diverse. The Pierogi on the burger was yummy. My bf got the waygu patty which came overcooked but it still was pretty good. Super lowkey and chill patio looks like it'd be nice during warmer weather! Overall pretty good burgers and service.

My buddies and I came here after a long night of good laughs, and a few too many drinks. When I say that the chorizo burrito breathed life back into me is an understatement! Delicious. Compliments to the chef. The DIY Bloody Mary stand is a nice touch. However, I went ahead and had the bartender make mine for me while I sat at the table drinking pitchers of water. The atmosphere is cool. Our server was extremely nice and joked with us throughout the morning given how clear it was our spirits were low. Two bloody

Hot dog with loaded breakfast tots, sweet potato fries, boneless wings, and pretzel sticks! Yum!

Around 5:45p the entire place was full. We were able to park in the back lot they share with a coffee shop next door. The lot is not huge so if it is busy you would likely have to park on the street. Eugene is name of the kitchen. They have a limited menu, but what they make is very good. We ordered at the window and took a number to our table. The service was quick and staff were friendly. While we water for food it was the perfect time to decide what we were going to drink. They were offering a hybrid cider/IPA made with Koji and in conjunction with Larder. It was so refreshing. I would definitely order it again. The space is rustic as described and spacious. There is a party room and patio. I am looking forward to visiting the BottleHouse in Cleveland Heights.

The BottleHouse Brewery and Mead Hall is the only mead house in the Cleveland area (Lakewood). My…read morefriend and I visit our respective BottleHouse locations - she's a regular at the West Side location, I sometimes visit the East Side location. We just spontaneously attended book swap at Lakewood BottleHouse. It was my first visit to BottleHouse out West. AMBIANCE: The ambiance simultaneously caters to various guests. It's refreshing to see this at the brewery. There's a large wooden bar perfect for guys' nights. Secluded room with twinkling bottles descending from the ceiling that's ideal for celebrations. Enclosed patio for friends' get togethers. Large open space for groups and events. More dim area for intimate dates. I personally found the dim area to be too dim for my eyes. I love that one can go to this mead hall, and experience a different setting every single time. FOOD/DRINKS: BottleHouse Lakewood has a kitchen as opposed to the East Side's food partnerships/pop-ups. We didn't order food but the book swappers were raving about their fries. My friend and I were most interested in our BottleHouse favorite - mead. I tasted their sweeter meads before and loved them. I ordered Metropolis mead this time (highly recommended by the bartender). My mead was the color of bold red wine. Metropolis was described as a semi-dry black currant apple mead with spices (clove and allspice). This mead wasn't my favorite, it was too acidic, bitter, and bold. For the pour size it wasn't worth over $12. I more gravitate toward golden and light meads. While I won't be sipping on Metropolis again, I look forward to checking out other meads here. If you're also a mead fan, find the list of their four meads in red on the chalkboard at the bar. SERVICE: Service was amicable. Most service was self-initiated at the bar. Drinks and food can be ordered at the bar. Your servers will find you by the number you will be provided. I look forward to visiting this location to taste other meads. Unlike other nearby businesses, this spot is open on Sundays late into the evening. It makes it an ideal low key hangout spot for Sunday spent with friends in trendy Lakewood.
