Hand breaded chicken tenders which are great when fresh and their fries are always good.

Update to a previous review. After three visits in the past three weeks I'm done with this location. Each time poor service from the bar. Beers sit empty for a long time before a refill and it's nearly impossible to order food. The staff just complains about "all the takeout orders" or tables around the bar. It's like a switch was flipped and they just gave up.

Brought my mother here to celebrate her being a Veteran on Veterans day, around 1230p. Ppl were standing outside waiting to be seated. We ordered wings to go. The phones were ringing non stop. Didn't look like too many ppl dining in altho they had to wait outside. Great packaging of carryout

This is the best BWW experience I've ever had. We seated ourselves in the bar area. Both bartenders and even another employee we asked for help were so pleasant. If I lived in the area and ate wings often I would be a regular here. I mean they were extremely nice. I just loved it. The wings were cooked to perfection and it's going to be hard to get that ever again I'm afraid. The wings were juicy and fresh. Loved every bit of our time here.

We love this location. The servers tend to be a bit more friendly than other locations. It's a bar environment with bar food and decent drinks. Plus it's a go to for fights. Me: southern crispy chicken sandwich - very tasty and the chicken was made to perfect. Side garden salad - simple but a perfect addition to the sandwich if you want something other than fries. Angry Orchard. Him: 15 boneless wings - half lemon pepper and half Asian zing. Side of potato wedges. Whiskey.

Customer service is abysmal at this location. I hate myself for still coming here. If it wasn't for the quality of the wings, I would never be back. If you don't love their flavors, definitely do no subject yourselves to this establishment and the horrible service. If any management reads this, please take corrective action. You're embarrassing the franchise.

All the outdoor seating was full, and inside there was only one table available. Most of the tables are larger, so we noticed some groups sharing space, which actually worked out fine. The restaurant has a great open-air feel even indoors thanks to the large garage-style door that opens up an entire wall. For drinks, my wife ordered iced tea and I had a Peach Mule. The mule was good, but next time I'd skip the rim garnish. They also have a big beer selection, and the prices seemed very reasonable. For food, we ordered the brisket burger (single patty with cheese, topped with shaved brisket, jalapeño slaw, raw onion, pickles, and sauce). They offer a deal where you can add a side and drink for $5, so we added onion rings and also ordered the Serpent Fries as an appetizer. The fries came out first and looked great and they did not disappoint. Fresh cut with bacon, pico, scallions, and a serpent sauce (seemed like a beer cheese). Really flavorful, I did ask for ranch, which was an extra $0.50. I understand charging for extras, but not everyone uses ketchup or mustard, so that felt a little unnecessary. The burger came out shortly after, and it was excellent. We split it, and it was packed with flavor. Honestly, adding bacon would make it even better a "Triple B" (Bacon, Brisket, Burger) would be perfect. The only letdown was the onion rings. The onions inside were very thin and overcooked, leaving them dried out with little flavor. Even without the over-frying, the onions themselves just didn't have much taste. Definitely something they could improve. Overall, it's a great spot for burgers and fries, and we'll definitely be back for that. We saw other dishes come out that looked good too, so there's more to try next time.

I am glad we did. First off, looks can be deceiving. Part of the reason I've never come here before is because from outside, it looks like a dodgy sports bar. And while the inside is most definitely for sports fans, with plenty of memorabilia and TVs, imagine my shock when I got a taste of the service, the food, and the overall vibe of the establishment. Our server was a very nice young woman who did a great job of checking on us without coming off as overeager. My brother and I aren't big drinkers, but that didn't dissuade her from not giving us as much attention as other patrons with bigger tabs. I ordered the french dip and my brother got boneless wings tossed in the honey old bay sauce. This is definitely elevated bar food (with great portion sizes to boot): my sandwich had freshly baked bread and came with fresh cut fries and a savory au jus. My brother commented and said his wings tasted like they were battered and fried to order. The prices are moderate -- given the level of service, the taste of the food, and the portions, we definitely felt like we got our money's worth. I'm happy to add this to place to my rotation -- just proof once again that sometimes the best places are the most unassuming!

Let's start with the wings--crispy, saucy, and downright addictive. These aren't just good bar wings; these are "don't-talk-to-me-until-I'm-done" level wings. The fries? Perfectly seasoned, always hot, and basically a masterclass in bar-side potato engineering. And then there are the nachos... potentially the best in Annapolis. Piled high, layered right, and built to be shared--though you probably won't want to. If there's a nacho hall of fame, these belong in it. The beer selection is next-level. Whether you're chasing something crafty, hoppy, or just a solid classic, the lineup here is as strong as it is satisfying. The service? Top notch. The team is genuinely kind, on point, and makes you feel like a regular whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for--comfortable, laid back, and filled with nods to police and firefighters that remind you this place is built on respect and community. Heroes Pub doesn't just serve great food and drinks--it delivers a place worth coming back to, again and again.

I started with the steak wedge salad, which was really tasty--the bacon had a slightly sweet flavor that stood out and complemented the dish nicely. For my entrée, I went with the tomahawk pork chop and a loaded baked potato. The pork chop was cooked well and had great flavor overall, though it leaned just slightly on the salty side. Still very enjoyable, especially paired with the potato. Where things really took off was dessert. Our table ordered a few to share--the brownie, chocolate cake, and crème brûlée cheesecake. The brownie was easily my favorite: rich, soft, and topped with caramel sauce alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Definitely the standout of the night. During a visit about a over a month ago, I observed an interaction between a manager and an employee that felt uncomfortable to witness. From a customer perspective, the tone came across as harsh and seemed more appropriate for a private conversation rather than one happening in front of staff and guests. On a more recent visit, I became concerned after overhearing multiple staff members discussing cleanliness-related issues while I was dining. As a customer, hearing those types of conversations during a meal was unsettling and raised concerns for me about overall food safety and sanitation. I want to be clear that I am only sharing what I personally experienced and overheard during my visits. However, as someone with severe allergies, trust in food handling and cleanliness is extremely important to me, and these experiences made me uncomfortable. Because of this, I felt it was appropriate to bring these concerns to the attention of the appropriate authorities so they can be properly reviewed. I hope management takes the opportunity to evaluate both customer experience and internal practices moving forward, as both staff and guests deserve a safe and respectful environment.

Davis' is both people and dog friendly, allowing both species to chat it up, socialize and refuel. The outside sports a dozen a so picnic-style tables and a few high tops that bleed into the street. Shade is omnipresent once seated and servers kindly offer up water for your four-legged friends. There's a cozy park with seating just across the street from the hostess stand for those eagerly awaiting a table, right by the community dock. The inside of Davis' Pub is distinctly "bar" - replete with TVs and high tops - though there's a surprisingly large area for table service beyond the often-crowded bar. Don't expect anything slick or shiny here -- a fresh coat of paint may be tough to find.
