Server was nice and helpful. However, the food was below par. I ordered the buffalo ranch chicken wrap. The wrap was only warm at the bottom. The crispy chicken was cold for the most part and so was the tortilla. Then in an attempt to cover up the taste it was covered in cheese and drenched with ranch and buffalo sauce. I'm not sure if the unappetizing food was due to the late hour at which we arrived or the lack of customers around. First time to this location and was pleasantly surprised. Was able to sit smack dab in the middle of the bar. It was a little bright but lively crowd and attentive bartenders. Glad we asked about specials - they were not posted. Some good IPAS were $5.50 for 22oz. Pretty good value for a Saturday night. The one issue is the TVs. They are pretty much the reason people go to BWW and there are a ton of them. However it can be a little contentious getting what you want to see. For example we wanted to see the ACC football championship. We were able to squeeze it on one small TV which was fine because we were at the bar/front row. The strange thing is they have 3 enormous TVS around the room that for some reason are wired to show the same event always. Which that night was the Big 10 Championship which was a blowout and nobody seemed to be watching, but the manager said that is what would be played and that was that. People were vocally pissed about other quality games not getting a TV. So get there early and stake a claim to a TV if there is a lot of sporting activity that day. It's a fun atmosphere for major sporting events. Also, they have trivia and sometimes really good promotions. In standard bar tradition, it smells a little weird by the bar area. You need to ask for specials, because they aren't always advertised. The food is pretty good for bar food, but don't expect to be super wowed. The servers are friendly and efficient. The bathrooms are actually really clean and nice. Lots of beers on tap. It could be cleaner but it's not gross. Free parking is a plus. The "hot" sauce is hotter than the "wild." My sons wings were not crispy at all even though they said that is why we waited longer than usual. I came here with a large group of friends last night. The restaurant was maybe 1/3 full and we got a table put together pretty quickly. Our waitress numbered all of us and then took drink orders. She forgot one friend and I was already on my second refill (that my bf went to get me) before she got her drink. We placed appetizer and entree orders at the same time and didn't see any food until well after 20 minutes. And then it all just came at once. Except the things she forgot. We reminded our waitress that our wings were supposed to come with veggies and blue cheese or ranch and had to ask twice for our basket of fried pickles. When the food came out it was hot. And actually the Asian Zing wings were really really tasty. My friend who ordered the "poutine" was deeply disappointed. First off she asked for no pico de gallo (because REALLY? why would poutine need that?) then it came out with a big scoop covered the whole dish. After sending it back we all snuck a few bites and it was just not good at all. Fried cheese curds? Yuck. Just nothing was right about that dish. The waitress was slow, but we had a very large group and she was very friendly, so that's not even why I'm taking off so many stars. I ended up getting pretty sick when I got home. After reading the other reviews, sadly, mine will come as no surprise. So myself and a group of coworkers came to BWW for happy hour after our conference today. Things were going well .......initially. Great server - shout out to Liam for his EXCELLENT customer service with our group. He is the ONLY reason I gave two stars. Though his service alone deserved the full five. So the drinks were good, we were having a good time enjoying each other. Our night came to a bad end when we decided to play some tunes on the juke box. We paid are money and then were in the process of selecting our songs while one song was playing that we had selected. Then out of no where the bartender DUANE comes and presses pause on the juke box. I'll see if I can upload the picture. He didn't say anything to us just pushed pause while we were standing at the machine. We initially didn't understand what was going on and thought the machine was having issues but then one of the other folks with us stated the bartender walked over with remote pressed pause to stop music then went back to bartending without saying a word. We were in disbelief! So we had to go and ask him what happened and he stated the other people in the restaurant wanted to watch the hockey game. OK Duane you could've just said that and we would've understood. Not just turn it off in the middle of us at the machine after we paid our money. We had to ask for our money back. We spoke to the manager Mike Rock I believe was his name whom all he did was say he was sorry. He didn't need to say he was sorry over and over again but recognize his employees behavior. Duane was extremely rude and we are pretty sure if we were a different group of folks he wouldn't have just turned it off without saying anything, while people were at the machine. The audacity of Duane to act as if we were not paying customers and didn't deserve a common courtesy to say they wanted to turn up the hockey game and they would like to turn off the music. He displayed very POOR behavior & customer service - shame on him! We told the manager we were planning to have more people the following day that we were looking to have lunch there for about 20 people but no more. It's a shame. We went here to catch the Brazilian UFC fights. I didn't eat the wings... I had already had dinner. So I will speak on what I can. Service: we were seated right away on a Saturday night and our waitress was friendly and accomodating. Food: I got the chocolate cake... it was fabulous. It hit my chocolate spot ;-0 ;-) !! Got take out wings on Super Bowl Sunday. There aren't alot of good places for wings here, so I thought I would give this place a try. Very Busy at 1600!! If its a game day you might want to call your order in ahead of time. I think the Mango Habanero is my new favorite! Although I have to balance it with some Honey BBQ wings. I love spicy food...the mango habanero has been a favorite since I first discovered BWW. Sadly, the mango habanero wings from this location is inedible. Not sure if it was the batch of sauce or what, but I couldn't even finish two wings. On the other hand, the Thai curry, asian zinger, and dry hot wings are always reliable. Location is great for watching games and fights. This is the only location in Annapolis where you can watch UFC. Service is not great. It's okay if the servers glance once in a while at the TVs when a big game/fight is on, but seeing 6+ standing around when service is super slow is a little ridiculous. They could also use a lesson or two about sanitation. Their seats, tables, and glasses are always filthy. The staff seems to either not know or not care about how to treat paying customers. There were fewer than 4 tables occupied when we arrived yesterday and we ordered quickly. We both had the Buffalo Chicken Salad. When it arrived after the table next to us, who had arrived and ordered after us, had gotten their food, the chicken on the salad was barely warm, the "toasted" garlic bread tasted stale and was definitely cold. The salad itself was ok, but then we waited almost 15 minutes after it was very obvious that we had finished before the server came over to ask if we were done. This has not been a good experience at all. I came here with my family because we were in town for a conference and I wanted to watch the college football games. First, the server was not paying attention to the drink order at all. All of us had to repeat our orders as she looked off into space. And they were still wrong. When we placed our food order, she never put the appetizers in. At all. At any point. The meals took FOREVER! At least 45 minutes for our food to come out. Even at that, they STILL missed some stuff. So reason I'm posting is because I usually get my orders to go and got home and saw I was short changed by 4 or 5 wings. Drats! Now I don't expect too much when dealing with orders that have gone awry. So when I called to let them know, the lady behind the line took my name and number. Again I didn't really expect them to honor it but Two days later I went to try it out. I got there asked to speak with the manager which the staff was quick to retrieve and less than a minute he was in front of me and I was pleading my case. This place has continued to go downhill for the last year. Yes there is a staff shortage but that isn't the problem. The problem here seems to be poor management. My wife and I went here on a Friday evening about two weeks ago and when we walked in we were told they are only serving fryer foods. We were fine with that because we were getting chicken but what kind of management allows food to run out on a Friday evening?! The servers are great here! I cannot stress enough how great the servers are here especially knowing they have to put up with poor management. We placed our order only for the server to come back and tell us they just ran out of the chicken we ordered. We accepted that and paid for our drinks and went elsewhere. We returned yesterday with two more in our party and they weren't out of any food but we were warned they were short staffed and it may take a little longer than usual. Again, we were fine with that. We sat there and talked and watched football as the two servers in the bar ran around keeping everyone happy. Again, the service was amazing! Again, staff shortage and yet no manager was seen until we were there for an hour. Why, because he just arrived. What kind of manager of a sports bar arrives at least an hour into football on Sunday?! Not a good one. He should've been there assisting the two servers in the bar as soon as they opened. My wife and I spent years in the service industry and know good service management and bad service management and the manager here is the latter. When our food came out it was hot and fresh. We have seen a pretty high number of staff turnover here over the last year to year and a half and then for a couple years before Covid. High staff turnover is a sign of poor management and it is quite obvious here. We learned a few years ago that if you want good service here then you have to go sit in the bar area. I'm really not sure how much longer this place will stay open considering there are other sports bars in the area. read more

Now it's like walking into Kmart, empty tables everywhere, and tonight there was no music and the tvs were all flashing the Direct TV logo. Full disclosure. I'm a huge fan of BWW. Previously living in New England, this was my spot for Sunday football watching and fantasy football drafts. I love the atmosphere and the food was always solid. I visited the Annapolis location and was pleased with my visit as the beers were cold and the wings were tasty as usual. My buddy and I had a couple of beers each and took advantage of the .60 boneless wing special they have on Thursdays. (Mon and tues as well). Wings were very tasty as they have a wide selection and you can mix and match. Also they have a large selection of beers on draft. Service was decent. A little slow but I can live with it. I am visiting the Annapolis area and really enjoyed my visit to this BWW. I went on Thursday when they have a special on boneless wings. I had mango habanero and salt and vinegar boneless wings as well as potato wedges and a cold Blue Moon. I generally prefer traditional wings but these were very good. If my local BWW was as good as this one I would visit regularly. read more
