I was a bit leary about going to BWW's because of my last chicken wing experience with another chain restaurant. But, as a family we decided to go there. The place was packed to the gills. It was super noisy. But, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered our wings and I devoured them as well as my daughter. They were so good. My husband on the other hand has complete loyalty for that other chain's version of wings. So, he thought they were okay. For next time, I'll order take-out to avoid the noise but still enjoy the good wings. read more

I don't think they clean the beer lines frequently or enough. I really enjoy Sam Adams Cold Snap and also Fat Tire. I had a cold snap and it just tasted off. I drink it often. So tried my other go to, fat tire, and it had a funky taste. Disappointed because they have a good draught selection. I will only order bottled beer from there. Food was fine. The first time, I dined to-go and they screwed up my order. So needless to say, one member of my party didn't get a meal that night..... Second, my colleague and I dined for lunch and the service was less than pleasurable. The server made an error on his order that took over 20 minutes to remedy....I didn't think fried, boneless wings took that long.....The manager never came by to check on us. Since refills seemed to be a minimum, I went to the station to refill my beverage. When I walked up, a manager happened to be refilling their personal beverage. At that point I looked at him and asked "is it ok if I refill my drink?". "absolutely" was his reply, then he walked away. I'd like to think if this were my establishment and a guest was refilling a drink, I would be trying to remedy the situation as well as looking for the guests server instead of taking a lackadaisical approach. A man named Michael (manager) answered and immediately interrogated me as if I was fault for consuming their food and getting sick. I called back later and asked for a higher up and was told that all complaints were handled "in house" as I repeatedly asked to speak to a higher up because I know there is one. We had a bad experience at a different BBW, but wanted to give them another try. The wings were awesome. I had a 12 piece boneless, hot BBQ and blazing (OMG HOT). My wife had mild. Hers had good flavor also. The only thing that disappoints me is that when I ordered 2 flavors in my 12 piece wings, I wasn't told I would be charged for 2 6 piece wings. Which cost me $5 more than my wife's 12 piece. It would have been nice to know, rather than being told that I can do 1/2 and 1/2 flavors for my 12 piece. read more

Service was slow af- the restaurant had enough staff to the point where people were just standing around talking and the restaurants not even half full. Took forever. What a joke for a sports bar. Arrived 30 minutes before the Sox-Cubs game, which is a big deal in Chicago. Asked the bartender (Destiney) what was on TV tonight and she responded she did not know, had not checked. Can you believe a bartender in a "sports bar" does not know that is on TV especially a big game like this? When we finally got the game on TV there was no sound and only loud hip-hop music in the background. This despite half the bar had Cubs or Sox shirts on wanting to watch and listen to the game. Took 15 minutes to get chips and Salsa. Finally decided that this is not the place if you want to really watch sports. This is probably the worst restaurant in the chain. I have had several issues on multiple occasions. I ordered online once and I went to pick it up 20 minutes later and was told it was just received. I had to wait another 35 minutes. Another time I had asked for ranch and the put it in a bag for me and confirmed it was ranch. I got home and it was blue cheese. I called and talked to the manager. I told him I wasn't going to come back, but I changed my mind. When I got there, he gave me attitude and said "you told me you weren't coming back". Then today, I ordered lunch and the kid at the counter showed me the wings and told me the fries were in the box and the extra ranch was in the bag too. I got home and the wings were correct but the other box had a burger in it which I didn't order. And only had the ranch that came with the wings, not the extra I paid for. My wife and I stopped in for dinner. first we had to wait for a table and were seated in the booth next to the hostess station, not the table we had asked for, which they had just "cleaned" and the table had smelly wet but dishwater all over it, I get it, they're busy... oops, but it didnt stop there. we sat there for 20 minutes or so and just as we were getting ready to get up and leave the waitress showed up, apologized for the wait and took our drink orders, and offered us appetizers, but being that we had already spent 20 minutes looking at the menu we were ready to order. the food came out on a timely basis by someone else and was typical of BWW, take that for what its worth. Our drinks had yet to arrive. once the drinks arrived 5 minutes later (a coke and a diet coke, nothing hard) we were good to go. We finished the first round and were ready for refills, the waitress came past and snatched up my wifes glass and came back with it full but completely ignored the fact that I too was empty. After what seemed like 10 minutes of the waitress having some issue with the computer and her and the manager in the corner completely ignoring the entire section, who were all rolling their eyes at each other, I finally got up and walked over to get my own refill, finished that one and the next one, which I also did myself. Several times our "waitress" walked by and seemingly made a point not to look in our direction. We finished eating and were ready for the check, half an hour went by and I stopped another waiter that was walking by and asked for a manager, our waitress must have heard me ask because she promptly came by and asked if we were ready for our check, in between the manager came by and I explained to him what was going on, he said that she also had a large party and that the computer was acting up, he said that they weren't even busy and were later expecting the local high school's homecoming crowd, he walked over and stopped our "waitress" and said something to her I didn't hear but she turned white and her jaw dropped to the floor, and he came back and comped our meal, apologized and comped our meal and asked us to try him again. normally we go to the Oswego BWW and never will go to the Orchard Road one again read more

Their mantra is hot wings, cold beer and sports. Well, two out of three ain't bad. Since I've worked in restaurants before I know service issues when I see them. Why this concept doesn't utilize food runners is beyond me. Because they don't, the wings often come out luke warm and there's nothing fun about eating luke warm fried food. I also agree with another reviewer that the wings have very little sauce on them. One more than one occasion, the guests could hear the kitchen staff yelling for runners. Sorry, I know it's loud in here but when you can hear a guy yelling "I need a runner" fifty times an hour, it gets real old, real fast. The location in Warrneville is much more warm and friendly whereas the Aurora location is cold and sterile. The GM walks around with s smug look on his face and I rarely see a server smile. We generally like going out to watch games and fights etc...BWW is great for that. However, this location is horrible. The service is okay at best. The management is even worse. There were 3 tables in the whole dining room, the manager left us standing at the host station for 15 minutes, server didn't get to the table till 10 minutes after that. I work in the service industry I have patients. So even after the subpar service we've gone back. Two times I've gotten food poisoning from this location. One time we were sold expired hot BBQ sauce to take home, and the second we ate there. Stay away unless you'd like to have horrible service AND throw up the next day. read more

Ate here today with my grandpa and received the most EXCELLENT service. Not only were we greeted with a smile, but the waitress was kind enough to repeat herself several times to my grandpa, who is hard of hearing. She gave great drink recommendations (twisted margarita was delicious!) and checked on us regularly. Brittany is one of the main reasons why Buffalo Wild Wings, Aurora is a great place for wings, beer, and sports. Last time coming here after years. Why did they get rid of the Tuesday traditional wing special.

Was not greated at the door until the server Jacob noticed us and sat us at a table. He even adjusted the leg on the table so it would not wobble. We had a different server other than Jacob who got our order wrong. I Ordered the garden chicken salad and asked for grilled chicken and got crispy chicken instead!! When my friend asked for the salad to be returned with grilled chicken I was told it would be 5 minutes and instead waited for 15 minutes. Absolutely terrible! Our server did not even see our drinks needed refilling! The server Jacob gave us a refill of our drinks and was not even our server! He stopped to talk with us and complimented our cubs shirts and explained how he takes his grandma out shopping. He mentioned how I reminded him of his wonderful grandmother and how it must be nice for somebody to have a grandfather! My husband took very well to his compliments. Our actual server could be overheard with a very loud voice in the bar area standing with other servers. Did not seem busy, yet Jacob, (or Jack) was the only one running around doing work and it seems to have been that way both times I have visited this location. I usually get great service at the Geneva location, decided to try the Aurora one instead and it seemed to be a circus for the second time in a row. The one star I am giving goes out to Jacob for the only good service I was given! Other than that absolutely terrible. Very disappointed with the level of service received tonight. We placed our drinks order and had to wait 25 minutes for our waitress. She only showed up as I complained to the manager.
