Not a bad BWW. The dinning room is always full and the bar is rather lively. What sets this location apart is the staff in the bar area. They are always very friendly. You don't wait long until you have a cold beer in your hand. The nice thing about BWW is the selection of beer on tap. Everyone has Heineken in a bottle but very few have it in draft! This is the one place I can get a cold beer that tastes like we are back in Amsterdam. The new appetizer menu is interesting. The cheese curds are good but the portion size is small. Can't wait to try the new onion ring appetizer. The specials are pretty good - Thursday is boneless night. If you aren't careful you will order more than you can eat! Don't forget the chicken buffalitos, which are a nice twist from typical bar fare. BW's sports 15+ sauces and 4 dry rubs to add some zing to your wing. This place is HORRIBLE!!! The service is a disgrace and they never answer the phone for pick up orders. They can't get orders right at all. I just got home with a pick up order and no ranches what so ever which were ordered and on the receipt. I waited in line for 20 minutes for a pick up order that was wrong and had some very dry wings. Jacob is the best manager this place has ever seen. If he was single I would give him the sloppiest blow job he has ever received. I mean clean up on aisle 3 bad. Let's just say it was dead inside and my girlfriend and I waited 20 minutes to be sat all the while servers were roaming the restaurant not tending to potential customers. I'm in the industry on Mass Ave and know how restaurants should operate and this location is way below sub-par. Our servers name was Mara and I've had horrible service before, but this was by far the worst. She "cleaned" the booth we sat in but in reality nothing was really cleaned. The trash can was put on the side where my girlfriend was going to sit and the floor wasn't swept or anything prior to us sitting down. There were pieces of chicken, fries, and plenty of wrapping dispersed on the ground. To top it off, Mara didn't even state her name when greeting us, which correct me if I'm wrong is basic etiquette when being a server? This review is only getting better though. During dinner we saw a man wiping a table and he dropped the rag all over the disgusting floor and continued to use it. Then a two top was sat in the booth where he wiped. COVID-19? Let's just say Buffalo Wild Wings over the years has gotten not so much a spot to be. At the end of dinner Mara dropped our check and quite literally checked out. We waited 25 minutes and wondered where she went and had to give our check to another server who then cashed us out. She then came to the table laughing and said she thought she had us all taken care of. Let's just say if this kinda ethic was appropriated at the restaurant I work at, a job wouldn't be had. We go to ALOT of different locations but avon always seems to fall short on customer service . Our waitress apparently was so bored to even be here always yawning then would drop or spill something and following that up with an " oh shit" just not alot of class here usually. However the food was served hot and fast so that was a plus. So what I'm saying if you're craving bdubs it is probably better to drive to another location. read more

I used to love coming here, but the last handful of times I've been here... it's been awful. I've ordered to go and have waited more than an hour for probably 4/5 of the times. Their site says it'll be ready in 15 min... then send a message saying your order is ready... for you to arrive there for pick up & they tell you it's not ready.. idk what system they're using, but it's not accurate and beyond frustrating. The Avon BW3 has decided to raise prices on ALL of their IPA's by reducing the glass size to 12 oz but keeping the price at $5. It's insane. I came here an average of three times a week to watch games and have a couple of beers because the staff was always so friendly and accommodating. It's unfortunate that the owner has to punish customers- and ultimately his own employees- in a feeble attempt to make a few extra bucks. It will ultimately backfire but only after he loses a few customers and likely let's go a few good, hard working people. read more

I love BW's, but this one just isn't that great. I live in AVON, but would rather drive to Plainfield to go to BW's. There is no real separation between the bar and under 21 section so you don't really get the bar feel. It's nice that it's no smoking though. read more

These are the same delicious buffalo wings I ate throughout college. Yeah, there are lots of other wing places in the area, but I just can't get over BWW's sauces. This location does their wings up right and I've never had an issue with the food. They also have trivia at the bar on Wednesday nights, which is a lot of fun if you're with a group (or if you're just a smarty pants all by yourself). They also have a bunch of beers on tap, including seasonal, so you'll always be able to get the perfect brew to wash those wings down. The only thing about this location is that the service has, on occasion, left a bit to be desired. But hey, maybe I'm just having bad luck and keep getting the waitress who's given up on the day? Honestly never had a problem until today, I ordered an online pick up order, my boyfriend had picked it up, and he handed the employee the money, she said that it was already paid for, and my boyfriend asked if she was sure, she said "yes, you're fine everything is paid for." Then they called my phone at 11 and asked if I had picked up, and I said, no, because I wasn't sure if my boyfriend had picked it up, the employee that called me told me, "alright, well put your transaction in", I went to talk to my boyfriend to see if he did pick it up and he did, that he told me what happened as I said above when I called them back and my boyfriend and I both talked to them. We had told them to look at the cameras because it showed that he clearly tired to give her the money, but the employee denied it. They had told us to get a receipt next time. We don't like being accused of stealing food, we didn't have a problem with going back and paying for it, but being accused for not paying for it when my boyfriend clearly tried too. If you had to choose between this and Plainfield, go to the Plainfield one. Went out for my sister's birthday and the workers were quite rude. The hostess was less than enthused. Our waitress hadn't checked on us in a while and my dad needed another drink so he asked another waitress (named Britney-- the blonde one; Brittany the brunette is an awesome waitress who surprised me by the great service there today) if he could get a drink. She looked at him and said "You have to ask your server" and quickly walked away. Apparently she had told our waitress when she left but instead of telling us that she was going to, we were left thinking we just had to wait here. We confronted her about it and she said "sorry you took it the wrong way", and put the blame on us. Really not how we wanted so celebrate my sister's birthday and my parents' anniversary. We loved this place, but now we're not a fan of the new management here. My girlfriend and I went in tonight to enjoy a late dinner after we both got off work. We are both servers and are very understanding. We were greeted at the door after standing there for a few minutes, seated and told our waitress would be with us soon. We sat for about ten minutes and saw our waitress at two other tables. She never came to get our drink order. We saw the other waiter in the dining room, but he never acknowledged us either. After waiting nearly 15 mins to be greeted we walked out.
