Uuggghhhh, another chain restaurant in Folsom doing mediocre business. OK, I ordered the Fish sandwich because I'm not a wing fan, but my husband is. Anyway, I asked for tarter sauce and was brought two little pre-packaged tarter sauce. You know, like mayo comes in. Boo! Ordered onion rings instead of the fries......"sorry, the cooks say we don't have any right now"! Uh, what? We had some big onions on our sandwiches, so this tells me that they use frozen rings. Boo! Boo!! Come on, you have onions and beer....shouldn't be too hard to fry up some from scratch and improve your status in the chain category. Onto the wings. My husband ordered two kinds, said they were pretty good but they were REALLY light on the sauce. We had to order additional. They just opened, so maybe they will improve.....let's hope or they will go the way of the other chains (Ruby Tuesday, Applebees, Black Angus...gone). There is such a thing as too many TVs in a Sports Bar and these guys nail that. It's like eating in the electronics section at Best Buy. What's really worse and more importantly, it's the food. They cannot even get crappy bar food right. I sent back a plate of nachos twice because I only wanted cheese on them - hold the fake Velveta lard sauce. The manager came back the 2nd time to ask me what was wrong with the twelve sprinkles of unmelted cheese, because that is what you get when you order it without the sauce (like I f@cking work there)...but he'll haul the plate all the long way back to the kitchen and put more cheese on it if that's what I "really really wanted". I've never been to a place in my whole 42 years that put an unmelted 1/4 cup of shredded cheese on a pile of chips and expected it to pass as nachos - then come out to ask the customer what the problem is. Don't bother, wouldn't want to put you out you smart a@@ punk. Also, if you've finished your food, they are bullying you to drink drink drink if you're watching a sporting event. God forbid you only want a beer or two and you're not there to get wasted, they'll keep reminding you the check is "right here" over and over as if to to push you out of the place if you're not streaming money on your card. I love me some BWW!! A great place to watch the games, drink some good beer, and eat some good wings. Watched the Sunday evening games and was seated in the dining room. Service was good, drinks were cold, the only thing I wasn't crazy about was the change in wing portion sizes. What used to be a 6-piece wing is now called a "snack size" and is measured by weight but is guaranteed to have at least 5 wings. Well, not as convenient if you and another person are sharing. W ordered 2 snack orders and both had 5 wings (hoping they'd have 6 because we were sharing). I still like the wings at the Wing Stop better but I like the atmosphere at BWW more. I have seen commercials for this place forevers and I have never seen or stepped into a Buffalo Wild Wings, until I got back to my hometown. The Black Angus that closed down turned into Buffalo Wild Wings had opened a couple months ago....not impressed. Inside the restaurant is very busy and eclectic. Def. has a sports bar scene which is most likely their angle as a restaurant. They have sports jerseys hung up on the wall even from local high schools in that area. Plenty of HD TVs for your sports viewing pleasure. I'm confident that for any major sporting even, Buffalo Wild Wings would def. have it on. Big bar seating area and bar seating and medium sized seating area for your typical server to cust. experience. What's fun is that they have video trivia and poker for entertainment and you can play against other people in the restaurant (on a particular visit, I lost by 100 pts to my friend...doh!!!) Cust. service was awesome. Our server's name was Batman, seriously, Batman. Most likely fake, but made the visit more enjoyable. The "Dark Knight" had us laughing, entertained, and educated my first visit, so he told us about wings and specials) during our experience at Buffalo Wild. However, this place did not measure up as far as chicken wangs (please imagine twang accent for "chicken wings.") The server told us about the Blazin challenge which is the 12 wings in 6 min. deal where you win some prizes and a picture up on their Blazin challenege board. I had a chance to sample the sauce and it was BLAZIN, literally. Oh mylanta, call 911, my mouth is blazin. We eat at BWW all the time on Sunrise Blvd but sometimes we come here and every time we have we always have issues . Long story short we drove 45 minutes from Ione to here because my son really wanted it . When we walked in the greeted frantically walked by us and said I'll find someone to help you; 6 minutes later someone walked by and asked if we have been helped I shockingly said we are waiting to get a table . Waitress we got was nice but very stressed out over the issues the dysfunctional restaurant was having that night. We placed our order and off she went. We noticed 3 tables right around us had been left full of food and garbage from previous customers and hadn't been clean ( FYI we showed up at 5:30pm and left at 6:50pm and they never cleaned them ) . Disgusting for us to have to look at this as the waitresses walked by looking at them but avoiding the clean up . Men's restroom trash cans overflowed with paper towels onto the floor . Only 4-5 tables actually had customers at it so the dine in area was not busy at all but no one had food and everyone was starting to complain. We waited till 6:50pm till I called the Manager over and asked for my check as we hadn't got any food and was never approached by waitress about how much longer it would be. Manager apologized and comped our check of water and a bowl of chips but honestly that doesn't feed my child or satisfy the hours we invested for this dinner tonight . I want to thank this location as my son no longer wanted to eat after this experience and was tired and went to bed after we left and I ended up eating a gross burrito from Taco Bell but unlike Buffalo Wild Wings they made it for me and gave it to me right after I ordered. I'll tell all of you do not eat at this location it is obviously poorly managed and the quality control is below par as we have been in multiple times with issues only at this location . When Buffalo Wild Wings first opened up and I drove by and saw TVs everywhere playing sports, I had no interest in going there. I am not a sports fan, that said, my husband is, majorly. Yeah, right, how did I marry a sports nut? And he loves wings. So, I got dragged here one time a couple of years ago and now I am hooked. Why you may ask? TRIVIA!! They have the Buzztime Trivia system! Basically certain TVs display trivia questions and you request a linked in keyboard for submitting your answers. You are then ranked against all people currently playing and at the end of the game you can even compare your scores against local and national high scores. Different days and times have different types of games and different themes. I am addicted to the trivia. I try to think of any excuse I can to eat here and get my trivia fix. Yes, I am a wealth of useless information...except at BWW! Food and service-wise, I was not all that thrilled with the wings, but I love the Honey BBQ Chicken sandwich and onion rings. None of it is that special, (except the onion rings, which I think are delicious with the southwest sauce for dipping) but it is satisfying. The service can be hit or miss depending on time of day and your server, but it has never been horrendous. Just that some are more attentive than others. Plus, this place is always distracting enough that we can bring a squirming toddler and no one bats an eye. read more

First time at this BWW location in folsom. It was easy to park at and easy to get a seat for a 125pm sunday nfl game. We lucked out and got the final open seat at the bar. We spent over $100 between the 2 of us and the service was great. The onion rings were waaaay too greasy though. At first I was like oh these are good then I was like oh wow my stomach is gonna be hurting from all the grease on these onions. Definitely a good place to sit down and enjoy the game and a drink if you're okay with the loud atmosphere. They have really good wings (of course) and a variety of flavors and sauces. I prefer honey BBQ and blue cheese dipping sauce but you really can't go wrong. You can even get as little as four of each wing flavor if you want to mix and match. They charge 60c for sauces but you can ask for samples of sauces AND BEERS TOO! The customer service tends to range depending on who you get but I've been happy most of the time. Buffalo Wild Wings in Folsom is pretty good. I love the atmosphere. The place has a full bar, flat screen televisions everywhere, and is very clean. The food is great. The wings were fully cooked and hot. I love the variety of flavors for the wings. We went on a Tuesday, so it was $.50 wing night, it made the price well worth it. My favorite flavor is a tie between the Mango Habanero and the Asian zest. My wife ordered the Carribean Martini, I had a sip and id was great. The bar knows what they are doing. The service is great. The servers are very attentive and everyone made sure that my diet soda was always filled. The only problem I had was that the bathroom ran out of paper towels, I had to air dry my hands after washing them. We went back last week to get more wings with a group of 20 for our friends' child's birthday. *As an aside, how awesome is it that a 7 year old wants hr birthday dinner at a Wing Place?!? They 'lost' our reservation (you can call ahead and say you'll be there in 30 minutes with X number of people and get your name on the list) and the front desk Dude was borderline rude to my wife. We were told it would take 2 hours to get us seated. I found the general manager (Jen?) and another manager and explained the situation. They apologized profusely, worked their magic sauce and somehow got us all seated and eating in short order. To top it off, Jen gave each family (six families) a gift card for 50 wings on the house, that we could use right then if we wanted. It's so true that good or bad customer service can really affect how you perceive a certain establishment. We had prompt drink service upon arriving but we were told that someone else would be taking our order. That someone never came. We finally flagged down one of the many young waitresses who were standing around chatting. The food was okay. I had the sweet BBQ wings which were tasty. My husband had the spiciest wings they offer (Blazin'). He loves very hot things and said they were decently hot but not out of control. I was surprised how many young families were there. The place is incredibly loud and the black walls are kind of depressing. The nice thing is if my baby cries, no one can hear it! There are televisions everywhere. I've visited this Wild Wings location more than five times--once for dinner and multiple times with coworkers. Every time they are consistent: no wait to sit at a table, speedy food preparation, constant drink refills, friendly staff, tasty food, and reasonable prices. The last few times I've gone, have been during the workweek at lunch. Most recently, our server, Carol (I think it was), asked if we were on a time constraint for lunch, sped up our food order, got our order right, kept the drink refills coming, gave us to-go drink refills toward the end, gave us our bills (individual checks) with our food, and got us in and out at a great pace for a workday lunch hour. She rocked it with great service. As a note, they have great lunch specials at very reasonable prices. I usually get the 8 boneless wings with fries (and carrots instead of celery). On Tuesdays they do have $0.50 wings; Thursdays are their boneless wings special days. A group of us have been going to BWW once every other week for the last year or so mainly because it's close to work and we generally love wings and beer. I've only had three types of food here. Chips and salsa, mozzarella sticks, and wings. And of course, beer. The wings here are better than at Hooters mainly because we don't get feel like crap the next morning. For some reason it used to happen more than we'd like at Hooters. But the wings alone are enough to keep us coming back to BWW. BWW has enough sauces for wings to satisfy most people. But I do love the Chipotle dry rub. That's definitely worth a try. It's like eating chicken poppers with a tinge of chipotle. Service is hit or miss depending on the server. The trivia and poker played through tabletop units or through smartphone are a hit with our party. Plus, it's fun to shout a little smack to the regulars when you beat them (or vice versa). Unfortunately, the price is the real downer. It used to be 50 cents for bone-in wongs on Tuesday and boneless wings on Thursday. That's now 60 cents. Maybe the high cost of corn has led to higher feed prices for chicken and thus wings. And what's up with the price of beer during Happy Hour? $1 OFF draft beer still means $4-5 for a pint. My second time in Emily at the bar took great care of me and was really nice to chat with. I have been coming here after the movies at the Palladio with my friends because they open late and just down the street from the theater. Last night we went there a little after midnight because the movie ended late and we wanted to grab something to eat. I told my friends that we should go get wings since everything else is closed and Buffalo Wild Wings is the only place in the area that is opened. We order drinks and wings. When we got our wings, half the wings were barely dipped in sauce or only half seasoned on one side. Also, the wings tasted old (like they re-fried them). My friend said the meat on one of his wings was crunchy. I guess the wings was not fresh as both of my friends complained about them. We usually never complain about food, but last night's experience was not the best (food-wise). The service is good, but the food is not as great as it usually is. Went here on a Fri eve, and it was PACKED. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant and it was SUPER loud and rowdy. Somewhat expected for the type of restaurant. I ordered a punch type cocktail that was super yummy and my bf ordered a beer ($7 and $6.26 for a pint- kind of expensive). We ordered southwest bites. Little fried triangles filled with cheese, corn, beans. They were pretty good, but there were only like 5 or so to share. This were it started getting bad. I ordered a chinese chicken salad ($9)and my bf ordered a crispy ranch chicken sanwich ($8). My salad was nothing but iceberg lettuce, cabbage, chicken, a couple of mandarin oranges and a couple tortilla chips. SO NOT worth $9 and some change. Was here on a Thursday night 8 pm. Apaprently, they had 60 ct boneless wing nights. Well, at least we got a $2 discount off our food. Food: I like good wings. But this place is serving fast-food of low quality in a restaurant/sports bar setting. If I want fast food quality, everything fried, I will go there. The teriyaki sauce had way too much salt. The other sauces were ok. Service: Slow. Sat us at a table with a nice view onto the overfilled trash cans leading into the kitchen. We requested another table. Well, the whole section had about 20-30 tables, most of them were dirty and not cleaned off. We had to wait another 5 mins for a table in the middle of the room. Ambience: Food looks like do... food. You are eating out of cardboard bowls/baskets. No windows and you just can't escape the TV monitors. Go there alone but not when you expect to have a conversation with somebody. This is not my kind of place. There are many restaurants or bars/pubs that serve better wings, with better service, and definitley at least an ounce of ambience. They always repeat my order before putting it through and even check to make sure everything is in the bag before you walk out. I've been a long-time fan of Buffalo Wild Wings and was so glad when they finally came to California! Since the one on Sunrise opened a couple months ago I've visited about eight times and now there's an even closer one in Folsom - wahoo! Hands-down the best wings anywhere in the greater Sacramento area. Amazing sauces and the wings are plump, juicy & crispy, just the way they should be. My favorite is Parmesan Garlic, my wife loves the Mango Habanero, and we both dig the Asian Zing. Give em a shot! read more

This is my go to place for Wings. There is an amazing selection and they're always delicious. It does make me a little uneasy to hand money over to the big corporate restaurants but I truly can't find a better wing anywhere. What you do get with this place is piece of mind. You know what to expect because it's the same every time. For some including myself that's comforting. I'm not much of a sports fan and could pretty much do without the loud TVs everywhere but I get why others would enjoy it. The service here has always been on point as well. I finally decided to give this place a try. I was a little tepid about going but my friend really wanted to go. My trepidation was caused by a bad experience my boss had and bad reviews on MyFolsom.com. My boss complained about the service that was so bad, he and his wife just walked out. The other reviews complained about the deafening music. I thought the service there was good. The waitress was very attentive and followed up with us several times. The music wasn't deafening and I was able to hold a conversation. Ok, now on to the important stuff - food and drink. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had Woodchuck. Woodchuck is a draft cider from Vermont. I've never seen it in Cali before (actually anywhere out of the Northeast). They have about 25 different beers split into domestic, imported, and speciality categories. Some are on tap while others are served in bottles. There is a great selection of sauces. I think over 10 to chose from and you can chose multiple based on the number of wings you order. I tried the Hot BBQ, Asian Zing, and the Spicy Garlic. I liked them all except for the Asian Zing. This sauce was just way too sweet. You could actually taste the grains of sugar. They also drown the wings in the sauce. My chief complaint about the wings was that they were too small. I can't comment on how well they were prepared because of the ocean of sauce. I'll go back because of the Woodchuck. I think I might try a burger next time.
