    The fries were good tho.

The server did not seem like she wanted to be there, the service was not great. The food was bad i got beer cheese cheese steak, it was bad it was 2 melted kraft singles and horrible quality meat. The ambiance was fine, the bathrooms are worse than a gas station, they were bad. I prolly would not come back to this location. I'v been to many other better BWs, this is the worst one I'v been to.

I usually don't do chain restaurant reviews, but I've seen this B-Dubs getting torched lately, so I decided to weigh in... We occasionally eat here if we're in the mood for wings and beers. We've always had good experiences without any issues. The restaurant is clean (even the restrooms), the service is always solid (if you sit in the bar area and get Ian as your server, that guy is awesome), and the food is good - Can't ask for much more than that. The only drawback (and it's pretty much industry wide because of Joe Biden tanking the US economy... Oh but wait, he's created a record number of jobs) is prices are getting completely out of control... Order of cheese sticks, 16 wings, two orders of carrots and celery with ranch, and four pints of beer = $80 w/ tip... That's utterly ridiculous, but welcome to Joe Biden's America - I hope people are paying attention to this nonsense when they vote in November... End rant.

We visited this location tonight to celebrate our son's birthday. We were disappointed. 1. It took us 40 minutes to get our food. 2. The three of us did not order anything complicated. I ordered ultimate nachos, which I have ordered before. My nachos had no toppings. No tomato, very little cheese or chicken, which I paid extra for. The cook at this location is not doing a good job. 3. Our server kept apologizing and when I asked her what happened, she said that she only works one day a week and she's noticed the kitchen is getting worse. She even offered to take my skimpy nachos back in the kitchen and put the toppings on herself. God Bless her. She was very kind. But that's not her job. She's a server. The cook should have made them correctly in the first place. 4. The atmosphere at this restaurant features the loudest, most obnoxious music in the history of music. It's played so loudly thatcwe could not carry on a conversation at our table. Just awful! We spent $68 for an order of skimpy nachos, a cheeseburger and onion rings, and a 30 piece wing platter in an extremely loud, awful atmosphere. We won't return to this location. The kitchen needs to get their act together.

We chose jalapeño poppers and were really impressed. The cheese was piping hot (be careful!) & the breading was really nice. We quickly gobbled up the poppers! I ordered the shrimp basket with curly fries & apple sauce. I got a side of BBQ sauce with my fries that was really tasty. The cocktail sauce was very flavorful, if a bit salty. The shrimp breading was a little plain, but not salty (rare & good!), so I was happy with it. My berry cocktail was sweet with a modicum of tequila flavor. I drank it quickly! My fiancé had boneless wings, half with peach BBQ sauce & the other half with a lime rub. Both were good! The peach BBQ sauce had a little kick to it, as well. Overall, it was a good lunch that filled us up! Can't wait to come back.

We arrived at noon. The place was not busy surprisingly. Our server Melissa brought our waters, and I ordered a jalapeño lime margarita. It arrived quickly and tasted great. We put in our food order shortly after-Fried mushroom appetizer, 10 boneless wing special, and fish and chips with fries and Mac and cheese. Our mushrooms arrived first from a nice gentleman. They were hot and delicious. We didn't have to wait long until he was back with the food. Timely enough that we had finished the appetizer, but not so long we were left waiting forever. The food was hot and fresh. For a wing joint, a pretty decent piece of fried fish. Fries and Mac and cheese were acceptable. Nothing to write home about. My daughter loved her mild boneless wings and took home the leftovers. Melissa kept our waters filled and was attentive without being over bearing nor absent. I visited the women's restroom. It was a bit out dated but clean. Overall, I was satisfied with the food and service. It seems like they are trying after all the bad reviews. This would be a good place to come for drinks and appetizers! Or wings. If you like that sort of thing.

They have a very spacious patio. It's clean and well maintained. Chairs and tables are a comfortable wire construction - nothing fancy. And yes...it still feels like a bar as a bouncer will check your ID at the door. You can balance the bar feel with the opportunity to hang out on a warm summer evening...on a patio. Our waitress was very friendly. She hustled as much as she could though she had a lot of tables. The bouncers were all business. The menu is pretty large with pizza, salads, wraps, wings sandwiches and lots of appetizers. Prices are fair. And, to me, the overall food quality is better than your standard bar food. Here is a run down on the things we ordered: -Quesadillas: extraordinarily cheesy. Soft shell. Easy to pull apart. Comes with salsa and sour creme for dipping - nothing special here. -Chef salad: very fresh and piled high with meats and sides. Two breadsticks were also tasty. -Chicken Ranch wrap: fresh tasting. Tender chicken and wrap. Fries were good. -Onion rings: lots of rings in the basket located on the premium side menu. Rings were inconsistent. Some pieces had a very thick onion piece with a softer batter. Others had a thin onion piece and a very crispy outside. In general the rings were fried to a heavier crisp and a bit oily. Not my favorite. -Cole slaw: very smooth, sweet and creamy Mayo based dish. Small slaw pieces. Not soupy. Tastes almost exactly like KFC's cole slaw. Very good taste! -Wings: I ordered grilled teriyaki and spicy buttery ranch wings. About 50% of my wings were tough and chewy. The other 50% were moist, tender and perfect. All white insides and slightly crispy skins. Love the grill marks. I would recommend double dipped as the grilled skin was thinner on flavor. The teriyaki sauce was thin and had a mild teriyaki taste. The spicy buttery ranch sauce had a slight buttery oil taste with a moderately heavier spice taste. No spicy after taste or burn. The ranch flavor seemed to get buried in the spicy flavor. This review focuses on the patio dinning option. Corner Pocket does have a fun and spacious interior, with lots of pool tables, if you want to shoot some billiards with friends.

After waiting a bit, she brought me a lengua taco instead. I told her that wasn't carnitas, but she insisted it was. At that point, I gave up and told her not to bother. I don't eat lengua, so it went untouched. I'll include the receipt and a picture of the "carnitas taco" so you can see for yourself. The last time I went to a Cracker Barrel was back in 2014. And that was probably one of a few times…read moreI have ever been in my entire life. I eat a little healthier nowadays than I did back then (I likely ate my weight in country fried steak) but my boyfriend and I wanted to get one last dinner out together before the work week began. My parents do not live near a lot of non-chain restaurants so we thought we would give Cracker Barrel a shot. Especially with all the hub bub around their new renovation plans! This location has not yet been renovated so we got to look around the knick knacks in all their country glory. Good prices and selection on country store goods all around as well as so many nostalgic candy brands! I particularly liked the selection of Goo Goos chocolates. :) We didn't buy anything though. So we were balling on a budget and trying to eat healthy so we both ordered chicken and dumplings with three sides at $11.99 each. We chose hash browns and two veggies for our sides and then waited. And waited. And waited. Service was very slow - Staff stood around, talking to each other a lot. Eh, I get that but we didn't have all day. We probably only checked on once in all. So service wasn't great but the food was pretty decent! Especially the dumplings! The veggies were basic and unseasoned (so I had to dump hot sauce on them) but I can see why... and lot of people who like things unseasoned probably are the targeted customers of Cracker Barrel. If you get my drift... Despite my efforts to be healthy, my boyfriend told the waitress it was my birthday the next day (it was) and I was treated their their famous coca cola chocolate cake with ice cream on the house! The cake was amazing and the soda flavor was subtle but definitely there. Definitely worth destroying my diet! All in all, we had a pretty good time and got out of there for around $30 with tax and tip! I am glad we gave this chain restaurant a shot!

I have generally been OK with Cracker Barrel in the past. They are not my favorite eating…read moreestablishment as their menu offers rather average choices for my taste (at least for dinner and lunch). They were conceived and constructed more for my parents' generation (and I am 64!). But they have always had redeeming attributes. The food quality has been reasonably decent in the past and they used to be relatively reliable and consistent in terms of the overall experience they offered. They typically have nice facilities with a pleasant country store at each location. They had their place in our dining scheme because they can be found along the way to most places we travel within the US and we know what we are getting when we stop. They've traditionally been an especially safe choice when we have had my 90-plus-year-old father-in-law with us or we have had the grandkids (whose food repertoire is surprisingly much like my parents was). Having said this, I have noticed in recent years that the quality of service at Cracker Barrel, which used to be one of their best attributes, has declined. I suppose this an industry-wide problem, but when this was traditionally one of the best aspects of the chain, a noticeable decline in this area spells trouble. This issue was noticeable on this last visit to this location. While our waitress was pleasant and friendly, the food was very slow to come out (probably not her fault specifically), the order was not quite right and she kept forgetting to bring us sundries (extra napkins, etc.) for which we we asked and she said she would bring. She seemed to simply lack the energy (motivation) and organizational skills required. Our dinner stop took a long time because of the slowness and it took away from our experience significantly (we had a flight early the next morning and we just wanted to get to our hotel). As far as the food was concerned, the quality was up to expectations (and that is why I maintain a 3-star for the rating). I always get the grilled catfish as it is really the main dish on their menu to which I can look forward to eating. Their biscuits with honey are a favorite and they do their broccoli pretty well also. All of these were on my order and they tasted fine. My wife got the pork chops and, while she regretted forgetting to have them hold the gravy (the waitress did not ask), her dinner still tasted good to her. The prices here are not unreasonable as we can typically get by between $15 and $20 apiece after tax and tip (with water to drink). Their facility was fairly nice (even if it was cookie cutter) and my wife always enjoys looking around their shop. But in the grand scheme of things, it is just not a very exciting stop. If the service quality continues to decline, I don't see a lot of Cracker Barrel patronage in our future.
