This review is about my most recent experience in the restaurant, and experience ordering to-go. IN-HOUSE If the waitress didn't try to "make it right," I would have given two stars. Every time we come here, service is extremely slow, even if there aren't many people in the restaurant. I truly do not understand it. I'm a very patient person but after coming here a few times, patience can run thin when it's happening over and over again. To add to that, in my most recent visit (in May 2022), I ordered Large tater tots. I have ordered large tots before, so it was SO obvious to me that my serving was NOT Large. My waitress, although it took a while (maybe she was new), gave me a new, large batch after I pointed it out. There was no apology. It was awkward but damn it I wanted my tots lol TO-GO To avoid the feeling of the agonizing wait in the restaurant, my husband and I order to-go on the BWW app. I can't remember a time we did NOT have a problem... Recently, he had to wait about 30 minutes AFTER the estimated time on the app stated... mind you, this was a scheduled order, and when I called to make sure it in fact was ready, they said yes. So I don't know what was taking so long or why they lied. Another usual mishap is that oftentimes when I order with carrots and ranch, they don't include it when we pick it up. So frustrating! All-in-all, I have a toxic relationship with BWW. lol. Hate the service, love the wings. read more

I will NEVER ever come back here. I will take the longer drive to another the location in union city. First of all, our server take our order a few drinks, appetizer, and food. She came to our table with the drinks immediately. 38 minutes later, our food comes out with the appetizer. She literally didn't come out for anyone for thirty minutes. She had four tables, and serviced no one. She didn't apologize for the long wait, or even acknowledge the appetizer. We also didn't get our fries....and waited another 15 minutes for the fries with out meal. The food sucked, the service sucked and it took 20 minutes just to pay......this location is pretty bad but today will be the reason I don't give them anymore money. I can't even give them the excuse that they were understaffed because our girl had four tables....cmon. read more

Terrible first time experience. I'm with my wife and it took half an hour to get one old fashioned and I'm sitting here one hour later after the drink was served and my food still hasn't came. We just ordered some buffo tots and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. I had high hopes for this place. It's not busy at all and my server just told me she's in the back cooking!? Like what?! Do not waste your time and money. Overpriced and customer service needs improvement. My husband and a few friends, went here and their waitress poorly represented Buffalo Wild Wings. I highly recommend she receives additional training on providing quality customer service, knowledge of the menu and specials for the night, and practice equitable service to all customers and not discriminate. Example 1:My husband was carded and the other two friends were not. Her response was "oh they look old and you look too young," if In the event a server needs to card a table, they should ask to see all or none at all. Example 2: they already ordered and received their beers and they asked to order a shot of whiskey. The waitress responded with, "no we can't do that because you have to finish your current drink. When they asked why, she said 'There's a rule you can't have a shot and a beer at the same time.' When they pointed out the other tables have another drink she said nothing. Example 3: the waitress mentioned a $4 bar special on shots. When they said they would like to order the special, she responded with "oh well they're not $4 anymore because it's not happy hour," they responded with "but her menu says it is a daily special." She said well it's not happy hour and didn't follow up to confirm." Overall, I don't recommend this place. They need to improve their customer service and provide additional training. read more

The service isn't the best (which shouldn't be expected given the location) but the food is definitely a solid 4/5. Service: As busy as it gets and as many tables as one server has, it's a bit difficult to get decent service and refills in an appropriate time frame. Food: Traditional wings are always cooked to perfection and on the meatier side (which is appreciated given inflation and the chicken wing shortage.) The mozzarella sticks (which are appetizers) should be served prior to the food being brought to the table (which I had also requested) however they came out with our food and rock solid given I'm sure they had sat there awhile.. Drinks: maybe they were trying to upsell liquor but soda was completely unavailable so my only options were water or sour lemonade.. I went for strawberry lemonade and was charged for both my regular and refill (which said free refills on the menu but?) Overall, I'll stick with ordering to go and making sure it's just wings and fries. read more

This restaurant provides the worst service. I've come here for a late lunch, when it's in between the lunch and dinner rush and the service was so slow. I thought maybe we were forgotten at one point. Then last Sunday, we ordered take out. Online said it would be an hour. When my husband showed up to pick up the food, he continued to wait for another 30 minutes. He ended up having a manager cancel our order and we are STILL waiting for the charge for the food we never received to be taken off our credit card. I will never order here again and we made sure to dispute the charge with the credit card company because clearly they want to charge you for food you don't receive and for shitty service. read more

At first the servers were very attentive. We waited an hour for our food and kept asking for water refills. We asked the server what was taking so long she mentioned 5 more mins and then another 15 minds went by. My uncle ordered a simple salad with dressing on the side and when it came had ranch dressing in the salad along with dressing on the side. We sent it back for the correct order. My family asked for the wings to be extra crispy and it was not. We asked for ketchup and didn't receive it so we took it from a table that wasn't cleaned up. The fries seemed warm not fresh. Our experience with Jasmine was deeply disappointing. My husband, a veteran, was shown a shocking lack of respect on Veterans Day. The server accused him of "snatching" his ID--an entirely false and offensive accusation. Her attitude was self-entitled and made us feel unwelcome, a far cry from the respectful atmosphere we had hoped for when going out for a nice meal. I left a minimal tip, something I never do, but the service was simply that unprofessional. Customer service requires treating everyone with respect, and if that's not possible, it's not the right line of work. We won't be going back. read more

I would think twice on coming to this location, this is my third time coming and same deal takes about 40 minutes to get seated once seated they take your drink orders, then you'll wait about 30 minutes for someone to come back to take your order, then you'll wait another 45-1 hour for your food to come and on top that they forget half your order, you have to remind them. read more

It seems like everyone is complaining about BWW, so maybe I was a lucky customer. Either way, a friend and I came by here at 5pm on a Tuesday for HH, which runs from 4-7pm. I only come to BWW for happy hour, so I'd only recommend to come here during those times. We were seated right away and given water. The waiter came by a couple times to check on us until we were ready to order. The menu was missing the HH menu and the waiter didn't let us know about the BOGO boneless wings deal for Tuesdays until I asked, but just know that you should always go for the HH menu here. We ordered the Southwest Loaded Chips ($4), BOGO Snack-Size Boneless Wings ($9.99) in Parmesan Garlic and Asian Zing flavors with two Tall Firestone 805 draft beers ($5.75). The food took about 15 minutes to come out, but came altogether. The waiter was great about giving me extra ranch as well. I'm usually not a fan of boneless, but they were pretty delicious as I had them this time. These are pretty huge pieces of fried chicken covered in sauce. You could always ask for some extra sauce, but we actually weren't able to even finish all of the chicken. As for the loaded chips, these were something new for me. Our waiter even noted that it was his favorite item here and questioned why it's only on the HH menu. Nonetheless, be sure to try this little treasure! The crispy, thin chips are topped with your usual nacho toppings and covered in nacho cheese --super tasty! Imagine having nachos, but switching out tortilla chips for nicely toasted and thinly cut kettle chips. For happy hour price, this place is completely worth it! Very disappointed in this location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went to watch the Women's Final Four games and asked it be put on one of the projector screens due to where I was sitting. They put it on for me quickly and then about 20 minutes later changed it to a baseball game and did not have a single women's game on ANY of the screens.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had to ask them to change it back which they did. Additionally our server rarely checked on the table and we constantly had to get his attention to get what we needed such as refills. So today 10/7/18 I came in around 745pm got seated at about 7:55pm. So when me and my group got seat In a booth and we were seated on the right side of the room when you enter right next to the wall where they refill drinks and put our orders in and print our bill. i think the food overall was good. i'm glad it wasn't cold. the service was not the best. we arrived at 10pm, we were seated about 5 minutes later but we didn't even get to ask for our drinks until almost 10:45, and by then we already knew what we wanted to eat but the waitress walked off when we told her. **This review was through the pickup experience through the BWW website 1) our order said ready for pickup. when my boyfriend arrived, he had to wait 25 additional minutes 2) we ordered the nachos and for some reason they added chicken, which we did not ask for 3) they gave us an extra flavor for wings (not a terribly bad thing but still wrong) 4) we asked for blue cheese, we got all ranch. they were also barely half full. 5) we asked for all carrots, they gave us a mix with celery. I actually used to work at a BWW and this experience was just. So terrible. My boyfriend went once before and said it was bad but I wanted to give it a chance. However...the Hayward location is terrible... My 2nd time coming; probably my last (got a $25 giftcard so dinner w the bf). Our server came to greet us 10 mins after we sat down. Asked what we'd like to drink; we told him just water. We ordered the popcorn shrimp po boy with potato wedges (about $11) and also a small order of traditional wings (you get 9 for about $13). We did Garlic Parmesan and Caribbean Jerk. Waited 45 mins... then finally our server came by and said the food would be coming out soon and they had a shortage of wings or something. He brought out the food but he didn't give us any utensils... and it took him a long time to come back to refill our waters. The food was alright. The Caribbean Jerk had a strong bbq/nutmeg/spicy taste; wasn't good. Our bill came out to $27. We gave our server the $25 giftcard & $20 cash. The guy used all the cash and put $7 on the giftcard... thought it was common sense to use the whole giftcard before using the cash.. what the hell... read more
