No wonder this place has 2.5 stars lol Nasty food. COLD . service is not that great at all Whatever ambiance Wings and fries were very cold and still Never coming back here again

This mess sat for over 20 minutes during lunch in a nearly empty restaurant. Staff walked by and ignored it.

Really disappointing experience at Buffalo Wild Wings in Simi Valley today. We arrived at 1 PM to a nearly empty restaurant -- just three tables occupied -- yet service was slow and disconnected from the start. We ordered the unlimited appetizers, but the first round took over 20 minutes to arrive and was served cold. The second round came nearly 30 minutes later, and the portion was tiny, especially for a table of five. "Unlimited" doesn't mean much when the food barely comes out and takes that long. This was during lunch hours, when people are on limited time and need to get back to work -- the delays were unacceptable given how empty the restaurant was. Refills took 10+ minutes, and no one checked on us during the meal. When we asked the server about an allergen, she casually said "I don't think so" and never followed up. That kind of attitude made me seriously question how careful they are with other things. I also clearly requested no ranch on my plate -- emphasized it -- and it still came not only with ranch, but spilled across the plate, soaking into the food. Just careless. For nearly 20 minutes, we watched staff walk past a visible mess on the floor without cleaning it. It wasn't until I took a photo that someone finally addressed it. That said a lot about how little attention was being paid. Toward the end, one staff member did try to help, but it was too late to recover the experience. She offered to-go drink refills, but mine was never brought out. I've been dining out for over 30 years, and this was easily one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. Not because they were overwhelmed -- they weren't. But because they simply didn't seem to care.

Ordered for pick up twice already got a bundle deal of traditional wings. They have very little sauce, but thats not even the worst part, they are very hard and stale as if they were 3 days old. They need to improve on them and also one ranch?? Last time we got 3, how are you going to give a bundle order just ONE ranch.

    Lots of people waiting

Hire more staff. Your entire patio is empty, and you've got at least 16 empty tables, yet there are people here who have been waiting to be sat for over an hour. This has to be extremely poor management.

Wings, Beer, Sports on giant screens and a friendly staff, what more can you ask. Buffalo Wild Wings have great wings as well as burgers and other options, great bar food overall. All kinds of beers on tap and a casual fun atmosphere. Great to get a quick bite or hang with friends to watch games, fights, etc. I like all the sauce options they have, mild to very spicy and everything in between. Lately my preference has been Thai Curry, but try them all. I have tried some of their spiciest wings, typically the spice levels are not that bad for me, the spice levels claimed seem much more mild usually, but the one I tried before, can't remember the name (maybe the Blazin' Knockowas very hot; too hot for me, so be warned. This was prior to me changing gears to lower Sodium options. This location is never extremely busy (lunch time), which is great so you don't have to wait, part of the reason I like this location. But hope they are busy enough overall at other times of day to have a healthy bottom line. This location is at the Simi Town Center right off the 118 freeway, so really easy to get to and in and out of. Large parking lot in front, so no worries about parking either. Today's offering, Thai Curry/Desert heat dry rub Bone-in (of course) wings, salad with blue cheese, carrots/celery and a Mountain Dew. Yum! My new go to is naked Tradition wings, (pictures) Salad with oil and vinegar, celery, carrots, no blue cheese and unsweetened iced tea. Much better overall health wise, but only so far as we are talking fried wings. I do love the sauces and blue cheese, but not the greatest for you. Enjoy!

Wings better than wingstop. Got the bogo deal of 12 wings for $12. Service was good when we had it... kinda took a while for food and pick up check. Filled up our water tho.

The food and comfort, not so much. Dear Hubby and I had a late breakfast, so we weren't really that hungry. We decided to order a pastrami sandwich to share, which came with one side (we chose tater tots). DH also ordered a cup of chili as an extra side. BIG mistake. At $7.25 for cup of inedible chili, that was a bad choice. It was overly salty, and extremely greasy. They charged 50 cents for a tiny sprinkling of onions on top. Really? That was an extra insult, considering that we skipped the cheese on the sandwich, and we didn't get a deduction for leaving that out. Speaking of the sandwich - it was tasty and well-made, but was very skimpy on actual pastrami filling. Not a good value. The bill was $40 for a shared sandwich, one small draft beer, a generous glass of pineapple juice, and the terrible side of chili. Since eating out is getting so expensive, I always hope (and expect!) that dining establishments would put their best foot forward so that guests will like what they're serving and want to return. Another note - the chair that I was about to sit down on was so wobbly and in bad repair that I could have suffered a fall. I mentioned it to one of the servers. She thanked me, but made no effort to remove it from the floor. That's a potentially dangerous situation which went untended. I didn't see a manager on the floor or I would have called it to their attention. I dragged over a chair in better condition from another table myself. It's a sports bar. It's reasonably clean. The kitchen did them no favors today. We'll be looking for another place to go when the 49'ers aren't on national TV during this NFL season.

First Visit - Definitely Coming Back…read more This was my first time at Junkyard in Simi Valley, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the fish & chips, stinking fries, chicken Parmesan, and the Godfather sandwich, paired with a Cactus Cooler and a MadeWest Hazy IPA. Everything was excellent--from the crispy, flavorful fries to the perfectly cooked chicken Parmesan and hearty sandwich. You can tell they take pride in the quality and consistency of their food. What really stood out was the service. Anastasia was outstanding--she gave great recommendations, explained the local favorites, and made sure we had everything we needed. True 5-star service from start to finish. It's not easy to find a place that delivers both great food and great service, but Junkyard absolutely does. We'll definitely be back--and bringing friends next time. -Ian Lantz

When we walked in, I noticed the food looked good. However, we came in to watch the game so we sat at the bar and read the menu. The menu is really overwhelming with so many options. I ended up getting the chili with two flour tortillas but you add to it like cheese, onions, etc. my fiancée got the chicken burger and I took a small bite, pretty good. The sweet potatoes fries nice and crispy. The bartender said all the pizzas are good which I believe her cause I saw a few people order them and they looked good! I also noticed calamari being ordered at a few tables so I'll def order those next time! As fun as it can be, the bar area can get a little rowdy. Wasn't the vibe I was going for but hey next time I know and maybe we'll sit at the booths. There's a huge parking lot and outside area to sit at. If you're not there to watch games, looks like a cool spot to eat at.

Let me first start by saying, the food is delicious (when cooked to the right temperature), but the…read moreservice, that's a bit questionable. The other night we checked in for our reservation & the hostess proceeded to take us to our table. She initially took us to a table set for 6, meanwhile we were a party of 7, so she motioned for us to sit at the next table, which was set for 7 people. Upon walking to our table & pulling out our chairs, a man in a suit, who I presume was the manager, asked if we had been helped. He completely caught us off guard because we hadn't even sat down yet. I answered him yes, & then he proceeded to tell me that usually someone from the front would walk us to our table (as if we had just walked into the restaurant & sat ourselves). What?! I responded & told him the host did. In actuality, she walked us to the vicinity of our table, not right up to our table, but that's a discussion for him to have with the hostess. Being we were customers & this was a nicer restaurant in comparison to a more casual or fast food place, the way in which the manager confronted us & handled the situation was completely unprofessional. Anyways, the rest of our party soon joined us & after ordering drinks & a couple of appetizers, we ordered our food. Well, out of the 3 medium well steaks we ordered, all 3 were brought to us rare (red & much more raw inside than we prefer, or ordered). We sent all 3 back & when they came back, they were better, but still not medium well). This is surprising because being Larsen's is a steakhouse, I would think the cooks would be able to gauge the temperatures more accurately. Needless to say, the seasoning they use gives their steaks a delicious flavor, so we did enjoy that. Another issue we encountered was our waiter, although very nice, took the initiative of charging our party for extra kids chicken tenders, simply because our friends' daughters were sharing them & had asked for an extra plate. While that was a kind gesture, he should have asked their parents if they would like extra tenders, not just do it & then charge us. Also, my friend's husband ordered 2 sides with his prime rib, thinking it came with 2 sides. When the bill came it reflected the $10 additional side, so he asked the waiter about how it, to which the waiter responded that the menu clearly states that it only comes with one side. I understand that & our friend's husband clearly didn't see that (nor did we pay attention when he ordered it, we were talking), but typically in cases like this, the waiter would let the person know that they would be happy to accommodate their request, but that the extra side will be an additional charge. After being at the restaurant for over 2 hours between the slow service, issues with our steaks, & discrepancies over the additional charges (which the waiter did take care of), we left a little less than satisfied with the restaurant, & the waiter was clearly not happy with us. Although the waiter took care of everything, not once did the manager come back to our table to apologize or ask how everything was. Usually when there's an issue, the manager will stop by the table to check in. I don't know that we'll be returning to this location.
