Came in right around 8:45 on a Wednesday, there were some tables occupied but not a busy night at all. We walk in and we're immediately seated at a table that just had a serving trey on it, no wipe down or anything but that's fine. We finally get asked what we want to drink at 8:58, only know the time because I was about to walk out. Already having a bad time and the food isn't even here? Terrible. Place our drink orders for a lemonade and a limeade, and we wait, even more. Finally around 9:10 we get the drinks and the waiter blames the wait on the bartender, which, again, they aren't busy so that's a pretty lame excuse. He asks us a second time if we want an appetizer and we say no we just want to order (given we've been here for 30 minutes already) and place our order. We get our food around 9:22 and eat half of our food then and decide we'll take the rest home. Waiter stops by our table around 9:35 and asks if we need our drinks refilled for the first time, we say no, and ask for a to go box. He comes back almost immediately with the check and the to go box, and says he'll be our cashier, then disappears for 10 minutes while his co workers stand around at the sauce counter. We didn't leave until 9:45, a whole hour after we had got there, and it felt like they cared about their customers about as much as your bank cares about you when you're overdrawn. Omar and Dru deserve a raise! Its like my third visit at this bdubs and all have been great visits. Yes, expect a wait when its UFC fight night, but once you are seated, the staff treats you well. BWW is close to my house and I had a gift card so I decided to give it a try despite the terrible overall rating on Yelp. I definitely think that I should have just listened to the reviews and gifted my card to someone in need. I ordered online for pickup and after arriving 5-10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, I still had to wait another 5-10 minutes for my food. We took advantage of the $30 meal deal for 10 boneless and 10 bone in wings with fries. We chose Thai curry bone in wings and spicy garlic boneless wings, which were the only slightly saving grace of the meal. The Thai curry wings were absolutely inedible. They had a notable curry powder film and not much else depth of flavor, although they were cooked crispy, which I like. The spicy garlic had a good labor but the boneless wings had a strange consistency throughout and some pieces were grisly. The fries were overcooked and room temp, they looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. And their ranch was bland a flavorless. I also ordered carrots and they gave us like 10 carrots that were packaged in a plastic bag and all dried out. I would not recommend anything here and I would not return. Such a bummer. Always been a BWW fan, but no idea what happened recently. Long story short... ordered take out said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Went in 30 minutes later and no one was at the to go desk for an additional 15 minutes. Staff was polite tho, so there is your star. My boneless wings had at least 5 pieces that were the size of popcorn chicken. For the price they charge, they need to be correct sizes. My husband's bone in wings were what he calls " chicken wing soup". There was at least 2 inches of sauce in the bottom of the box, no exaggeration. It was so excessive. All of our boxes were just covered in sauce creating a giant mess in the bag. It was apparent that everything was thrown together real fast and without any care. I ordered takeout from this location through Door Dash tonight. I ordered the Cobb salad (no bleu cheese crumbles & ranch dressing) and 10 boneless wings. When I received my order, I found I had no only been given the wrong salad, but the one lone chicken strip I received had been rolled in bleu cheese crumbles with 3 inedible wedges of lettuce. I paid $14.79 for this "salad!" The traditional buffalo wings I received had so much grease pooled in the container, it had leaked through the cardboard container and through the bag. They were also inedible as the grease was dripping off of them. I am usually not one to complain and after driving 8 hours today, would have loved to have just eaten what I received, had it been edible. I called the restaurant and politely explained what I'd received and offered to drive all the way to the restaurant so they could make it right. The manager told me that since I ordered through Door Dash there was nothing he could do, and that it was my responsibility to me to complain to Door Dash about an order that Buffalo Wild Wings had completely screwed up. On tuesdays there's the BOGO combo so it was so much food we could take some home. We ordered two different tater tots with dry rub seasonings (I like the lemon pepper one the most). This was the 1st time that we tried this establishment. The Ice Tea was good. I was not really impressed with the chicken wings we had a variety of flavors, the teriyaki was really salty, the honey barbecue that was good it was a little bit too spicy for me. I think I was probably looking for more of the sweetness to the honey barbecue myself. The lemon pepper had a good taste to it. The parmesan cheese, those are pretty good. Where to begin? I'm still waiting for a call. We ordered one burger and one boneless wings/onion rings combo, and fried pickles. Fried pickles came out timely. Which, fine, but if she had just told me that I would have asked for my food to wait and be timed with his, as the point is for us to eat together. This was never explained. Literally pushing 15 minutes later, I had barely touched my horrible meal, when we finally got the chicken and onion rings. At this point, I expressed concern about the time it took, and literally the waitress replied "well, it's fight night so we're backed up". That's not an apology, not even empathy. We then asked for some boxes for his food to go, and she gave us one of the small circular container. We had to ask for another one. I also expressed that my burger was not good, not even edible, and she just again replied "kitchen is backed up, it's fight night. Sorry." We are very reasonable. I'm fine with waiting. I get being busy. But, between the rude wait staff, the disorganization, and the terrible food quality, this was the worst experience I've had with Buffalo Wild Wings ever. As a former server at BWW I really want to rate this higher, but the fact is, aside from the wings and beer, they're no better than some fast food chains. Let's be honest though, the combo of good wings and beer is pretty hard to beat! What I love about the wings and beer here is the variety of both. I think they stand out from other wing places with their range of sauces and dry rubs. They have mild sweet ones, super spicy ones, and full on savory ones both dry and wet. When I'm in the area and craving wings, which is about once a month, I come here and head to the bar! Aside from the wings and beer there's not much else going on with the menu. They have burgers, wraps, salads, and other offerings but all of them are mediocre. On top of the lack later food the service at this location is really hit or miss. My boneless wings were extremely small and nearly all breading. The sauce did not taste right either, it almost tasted expired. I love love love wings. In the past I have went all around Reno finding who makes the best wings. Ok I have held off writing a review the three times I have gone here. Let's start with their parking lot! It's huge and very spacious. Tons of parking. The building inside and our is fairly decent in good shape. Nice decor. However, some seats are ripped and taped which you may see at a lot of restaurants over time. Wear and tear. The service was ok. Our server was ok what do I mean about that. Well the excellent part about his service was he was in top of getting us refills on our drinks. But when taking our order he was blunt like this is how it is take it or leave it attitude. Food. We came in on a Thursday for half off wings deal. Well I don't know how much of a deal it was. We ordered 18 wings and buffalo tater tots. The wings were not the greatest. Our bill was well over $30. It's was $20 for 18 wings. Oh and they charge you .60cent per ranch which they fill a little less then half way up so you keep purchasing more. Because you can run out quick. When the wings came one out of the three batches we ordered had 6 piece in it. Needless to say we did not get our full 18 wings we paid for. This was not a deal. As for going back I never say never but I can avoid this place for a while when I think back at my experiences. read more

They will consistently (or that's the idea) provide you with plump, possibly steroid-injected chicken wings and a cold one. Who cares about the drugs, the wings are delicious! Of course, reasonable people only eat bad things in moderation. Something I found weird is that when you get wings, you can order a small, medium, or large size. With a small order you can get 2 flavors, with a medium 3, etc. I guess they do it by weight and not number of wings which has more value? Don't skip out on the ever-epicly-good Mango Habanero and Parmesan Garlic flavors. I had the Bourbon Honey Mustard which was not bad. At any rate, I came late on a Monday night and the experience was as expected, meaning corporate-standard-trained-people-and-atmosphere. Our server, despite her frizzy hair that hinted at a hard day's work, was kind and attentive. I bet this job can get difficult when you're serving drunk adults or cheap teenagers. The whole plaza screams corporate American (except maybe Grimaldi's Pizza). I hadn't been back to Buffalo Wild Wings since my last bad experience here, but was in the area and decided to give them another go. The service was attentive at first, then our server became scarce by the time our food came. My boyfriend and I had to ask for our first refills a few times, and they didn't arrive until we were finished with our meal and just waiting on the check. And that was when we found out our drinks didn't have free refills, which WASN'T stated on their menus. As for the food, the quality of their wings and sauces has certainly gone down over the years, and hasn't really improved back to what it once was. The kitchen had also forgotten our veggies and seasoning on our fries, but because our server wasn't really around to notify, it seemed pointless to ask by the end of the meal. This Buffalo Wild Wings has improved so much since the last time I was there. The service was great and the deals were incredible. Their happy hour is so good when it comes to drinks and food. The wings are so delicious especially if you order them extra crispy! They do take a little longer to come out but it's worth the wait. The only thing I don't like is how expensive the wings are, but if you go in on a Tuesday they are buy one, get one free so it's totally worth it.
