We went to this place last year for our anniversary. Boy was it a very bad idea. As we walked in we were seated basically on top of two other couples. (The place is tiny) we proceed to order and we ask for steak tar tare. When it comes out it was completely disgusting. The meat had no flavor and it literally tasted like a refrigerator. We then proceed to the entrees, nothing out of this world. Overpriced pasta. My boyfriend asked the manger of the restaurant if she could place a candle or write happy anniversary on a dessert as a surprise to me and she immediately told him no, that is tacky. How rude right? She basically put the frosting on the cake for us that night. Way to ruin a persons day. We will never go to this place again. We make sure we let everyone we know how terrible the food and service are at this place. read more

Many years ago, after eating at Bugatti several times, I decided to boycott the restaurant because the service was so consistently horrible. And I mean HORRIBLE. But, for some reason, I decided to meet a couple of friends for dinner at Bugatti. The food was good and the service, while not stellar, was not horrible, that is until they brought the bill. They charged us for an item we did not order. In most restaurants, this is an honest mistake and they just take the item off the bill. But that night, the server/manager ARGUED with us, telling the THREE of us (one lawyer and two executives) that we had indeed ordered the item, and the server/manager REFUSED to take the item off the bill! The three of us were totally insulted and aghast that this restaurant was trying to steal from us. In the end, the server/manager said to me, "Just pay your bill and leave the restaurant." Leave we did and I will NEVER step foot into that place ever again. Ever. There are MANY more wonderful Italian restaurants in Miami these days; there is nothing so special about Bugatti that would make me want to put up with the rude, insulting behavior of the staff, management and owner. I have been eating at this restaurant for at least 15 years, always expecting and receiving great food. Unfortunately, this evening the food was a far cry from what I had enjoyed for many years. Buggattis specialty has always been great pasta, with a variety of sauces. I decided to order a simple bolognese meat sauce. It came out on pasta that was not what they have been serving previously. The meat sauce was dried out and flavorless. Service has always been great and tonite was no exception as I know most of the servers. I didn't bother complaining, but it was a real disappointment. Coral Gables has many nice restaurants, and Bugatti is one of them. The service is generally attentive, the food is very good and the prices are reasonable. To their credit, the portions are large enough that my wife and I often split a salad or even a main course. The noise level doesn't interfere with conversation. The house wines have little to recommend them, but they blend well with the food. Overall, I would choose Bugatti over many of its neighboring restaurants, especially going with friends. read more

My family has been going to Bugatti for years and years, and the quality has always remained the same - outstanding. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. The struggle I have is always with what to order - there are so many excellent options that it always is difficult to choose. From the start, the bread is wonderful and the caesar salad is by far the best I've had anywhere - I absolutely love the pine nuts and sun dried tomatoes that finish it off. My personal favorite is the lobster raviolli, although the gnocchi and other raviolis always are great too and most members of my family always get the tagliatelle bugatti. The dessert is heaven. I always have a difficult time choosing between the mousse and the gelato. Finally, the staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is clean and nice. You just can't go wrong at Bugatti Restaurant and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality. read more

This place is great. It has to easily be the best priced italian restaurant in town. They have a wide variety of dishes on the menu and everything is prepared fresh. Just beware don't ask to modify any dishes because the answer will most definitely be no! The good thing is everything I have had is so great that there is no need to modify anything. Lasagna Wednesdays are the best Wednesdays! The Lasagna is different from that which you have most likely tried in the past. It is made with white, alfredo sauce and it goes well. I have also had the gnocchi here and it is good as well. Pricey for pasta but the service was good because other than a Wednesday there are not many people. read more

Had been regulars for years with excellent outcomes. However, it all changed last week as we noticed the menu had changed. The selections were sub-par to horrible. When a person in our party returned the dish, untouched, we were stunned at the server's remark. "it is one of the most popular dishes". Not a word of apology, nor an offer to solve the uncomfortable situation, We will definitely NOT be back. Bugatti is a great place to get homemade pasta, along with other delicious italian dishes as well. I have been there numerous times over the years, and the food is consistently great. The restaurant opened in 1985, so as far as restaurants in Miami are concerned, this one has definitely stood the test of time. The service is usually very good, but fluctuates a bit depending on your server. It's true that the ownership is a bit strict at times, but i believe they do this with the customers best interest in mind. This place is killer. I had Tagliatelle and Bolognese sauce and it was the best I have ever had. I have eaten in Italy, New York City and lots of other places. This was the best pasta dish I have ever had. Portion was just enough to get you full without a struggle. This restaurant is easily the worst trendy Italian place I have eaten at in South Florida. Considering there are other very good italain places like Randazos little italiy, I would advise never to eat here. My fiancee ordered the spaghetti bolognese and I got the linguine with white clam sauce. The noodles in her dish looked like someone overcooked the pasta for about 10 minutes. She rarely sends food back, but it was inedible. The meal she got in return has the same, soggy noodles. My food was an awful choice. I have had linguine with clams at cheap pizzerias that have more flavor and taste to them. First of all, this place can't cook pasta. The noodles were bland and tasteless, the dish didnt have any taste other than overwhelming burnt garlic, and the dish was served in a paper bad. I have had linguine with clams in parchment before, however this dish was so bad the bag just made it seem like I was eating trash. read more
