I'm sad to leave this review, because I've been here a few times and had pretty good experiences in the past. But yesterday after the wash I noticed that they had either sprayed or dripped water all over my seats. When I got home it had dried and left gross-looking stains all over my front and back seats. Extremely frustrating, especially after waiting over an hour for the full car wash. This by far is the best car Wash in reno. My car was very dirty driving from Sacramento to reno after snow. I went here for an external Wash because my car is full of stuff inside and cannot use any interior wash. They offer only 2 choices for external Wash 12 dollars or 14 dollars. I pick the 14 dollars. Much better car wash than I was expecting. We went for the second cheapest option because we just needed a wash and it was still winter. I didn't expect there to be someone pressure washing and brushing your car beforehand. I like this because their brush seems clean and it keeps the machine cleaner. Doesn't mean it won't scratch your car, but seems less likely. Once we were out of the machine, we drove up to a stop sign and waited for someone to come dry the car. I handed him a tip which he put in the tip container and we drove off! Overall a decent car wash. With the amount of employees that actually touch your car, I would have expected the back of the car to actually be clean but there were still lots of spots missed. Took my SUV for a car wash this afternoon after arriving from a roadtrip. We drove through some nasty weather and so that called for a buggy bath! I got the $40.00 option, this included wash, mat wash, interior cleaning, tire cleaning, dusting etc. I am so pleased with the wonderful work they did, they even got the third row which is where my boy likes to hang out with friends, driving to and from places and his favorite place for snacking (Iykyk). My wife showed up for a hand wash. The attendant proceeded to hammer the car with a power washer, then sprayed something all over the car that foamed and then hammered the car with the power washer again. Done! No hand washing and I'm sure the wax has been completely removed. Very disappointing. read more

One of the best car washes around! I had some very bad water spots on my car due to water intrusion in my underground garage. I had not been able to get it removed with the standard "drive through" car wash. So I went on Yelp, saw this one had good reviews and it was fairly convenient for me to get to. So off we went to see if they could get my car clean. We came mid week so there was no line and we were able to get in right away. I explained my problem to the gentleman and he looked at the water spots and recommended that we do the regular $10 wash and see how much it gets off and if that doesn't work, then he recommended a hand wash. I was impressed that he said to try the cheapest option first. As we figured, it got most of the stains off, but not all of them. He quoted me $30 to hand clean the rest of it and that it would probably take 20-30 minutes. So we drove around to the hand-wash area and left it with the crew and waited in the shady area with free wi-fi. Within 20 minutes, they let us know it was done. They got every little bit of the water spots done and my car was all shiny and clean like (almost) new. With a $10 tip, I feel like it was $50 well spent for taking care of potential permanent damage to the paint. To echo Travis C - Please tip them! They did an outstanding job. The prices went up and I paid for inside and outside but the inside had full areas that were not cleaned. So close to my house and easy to use. After 17 years with my convertible, it's time to let her go. So I stopped in to get her cleaned up to sell. You enter the south driveway and go to the booth towards the back corner to receive a tag for your level of cleaning. Then proceed to automatic car wash entrance. When you come out stop, there's a quick check. Then pull around the corner to the vacuum station and get out. Relax under the huge shade tree. They will take the vehicle to the last station for exterior shine and tire cleaning. The whole thing took about 20 minutes. The staff did a great job. She was incredibly dirty inside and out. So much winter filth on the outside and Sheela fur on the inside. She looks almost new again for $30. read more

Seemed like a good deal. We got the extreme car wash, one step up from the basic. Cost $13 and they give it a soaped up scrub before you enter the wash. They hand towel (mostly) dry the vehicle after the wash. Came out pretty good for the cost. You can also get a complete hand wash version for about double the cost. read more

They offer a cheap and quick exterior only wash with a hand towel try and tire shine, and they do a great full service clean too (it does take some time, so make sure you're not in a rush). On the advice of another Yelper I tried Buggy Bath. I wish I remembered who it was because I would thank them a lot! You drive in and choose your wash. They have everything from just the outside for $8 to basic whole car including inside for $28 to hand wax for $109. I have gone 3 times and each time my car is sparkling clean inside and out like it is brand new. Be prepared to wait a bit if they are busy because they do a thorough job on each car but it is totally worth the wait. I have tried many other car washes but this is above and beyond my favorite. read more

Had an unfortunate incident here that caused damage to my vehicle. The attendant was completely negligent and responsible for the incident. He was not paying attention and instructed to drive to move forward but did not tell them to stop. After pulling to far, he instructed the vehicle to back up which caused the substantial damage to bumper as it caught on a piece machinery that was not intended to backed over after crossing. The owner was dishonest about the entire incident and repeatedly changed his story until we finally convinced him to show us the video evidence which confirmed our account of the incident. Refused to take any responsibility through his insurance company. Even though he eventually admitted that he was at least "partially" responsible to us. Would not recommend taking a risk on this place, not worth the $2500 bill to repair the damage done to the body of my car. read more

First time at Buggy Bath. Borrowed a car from a friend, so I wanted to return it better than before. The setup at Buggy Bath was not the best. You had to drive a double figure eight to get to the wash and detailing and there were about 25 cars, so the result was chaos. Several drivers cut the line, some didn't know which line was correct, and so forth. In all, it took about 1 1/2 hours for a 'Super Wash' which was $35. There were at least a dozen workers on site and 4-5 actually worked on any given car. The restroom was surprisingly clean and stocked. They also have a special Burning Man rate for the overly-dirty playa vehicles. The results of my 1 1/2 hour rate: the car was clean and shiny; the floor mats were power sprayed; the windows were clear; the dash was nicely polished; the entire interior was the car smelled like a new car. Overall, they need to improve upon the figure-eight chaos and their speed but they deliver a nicely cleaned car. read more

I got the $50 wash. They didn't spread the lotion around it was just blotchy .Also nothing was cleaned in-between the seats and the vacuuming wasn't finished with obvious debris left. Buggy Bath Car Wash is listed as the best full service car wash in Reno. Located next door to the Peppermill, it was a convenient way to clean the gunk in and out of my car on a recent trip. The facility is mostly outdoors so prepare for the weather exposure. The facility is a bit confusing to navigate with several lanes weaving in and out. The main cashier is in the back. You stay in the car for the wash but then get out and wait if you opted for an interior clean. I needed an interior clean so I had to get out and wait. These guys did an excellent job cleaning my car. There were few drops or residual soap anywhere with an equally great job cleaning the inside. They didn't use strong smelling chemicals either. Unfortunately the wait on a Monday mid morning was just way too long. The process seemed to take forever even with a decent amount of staff on duty. This is a big problem since there is not much to comfort waiting guests. The outside area is just a few wooden benches and a snack machine. There is a small indoor shed to escape the cold, but it's somewhat claustrophobic. Not much shade either with only a few umbrellas. Maybe it's a good idea to be next to the casino since my wait was really long. I could have gone back to my room and take a nap! But I must say the wash was excellent and a decent value anyway. I was not prepared to wait so long in the cold. Before committing, check that line and see if they are already backed up. Or bring a nice book! read more

It's very inexpensive for the quality that you receive from all the hard working people that cleans your car. It's the best carwash station that I've visited for under $40! Not much of a wait on a Sunday afternoon, but football just started too. The attendants possibly would've prefered watching the games too, because their wash of my car was less than ideal. For $45, I would have spent the time to wash the car myself. You can see the dirt clearly in the photos, and this is even after requesting an extra wipe down. The interior had streaks and globs of excess interior conditioner. Luckily I keep extra towels in my car, so I was able to wipe off the excess and scoop out the cream from the door handle and cup holders. Overall, disappointing experience here. read more

This was my first time using this car wash. I will start with they do a good job cleaning the car. It was just very confusing on how to navigate it. I asked where to go after paying, that was the easiest part of the experience. After coming out of the wash there was no sign or person to direct were to go for the towel dry. So I pulled forward to the line where I waited about 10 minutes until I decided to leave. I wouldn't even be writing this review if after talking to the manager, he would have thanked me for the input, and try to make it a better experience for new customers, instead he asked if I waited at the stop sign. I told him I didn't see a stop sign. He said if I had waited at the stop sign. Somebody would've been there shortly to dry my car. I went back to the place where he said there was a stop sign. It stands about 2 1/2 3 feet tall and there was a big garbage can size bucket full of towel towels in front of it. I won't be going back because I felt like he didn't care to make the experience better for people in the future. read more
