We're about to put our house on the market and it's been like pulling teeth to get anyone to come out and do work (electricians, plumbers, roofers-- forget it). We have an odd sized kitchen window that somehow got a crack in it and let's face it, not a good look. We called a bunch of local glass places and couldn't get anyone to commit and then found Sal who came out immediately to give us an estimate. He was booked up for a few weeks but because he had a cancellation, was able to fit us in ahead of our photo day and open house! They were highly professional and 6 years later we are still happy with our shower. This time we have again asked them to put a class enclosure in our cottage. And once again, it was an easy, experience because they "know their stuff". They come when they say they will, they take good notes and answer every question, they stay in contact during "the wait" and they do an impeccable job.

They made me pre pay $500 for a service then they showed up and were afraid to drive down my driveway with half an inch of snow , so instead of rescheduling, they decide to not do the service and keep my deposit. Keep in mind they never called me to explain anything or tried to reschedule and the owner Chris and his receptionist Gabriela instead were rude and disrespectful over the phone. There are a lot of glass companies out there that will give you a better service and not steal your money. I've contacted Better business bureau and Attorney General on this matter , they can't simply get away with this practice.

We purchased the glass from the local franchise and Jason was contracted by them to do the install. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. When he was done with installing 10 glass panels, you'd never know he was here. Cleaned up, and away he went. Couldn't be happier with his work. Fast forward about seven years to May 2018, we started having issues with our sunroom again. We had the franchise guy out to take a look to see what needed to be done. Turns out all the sunroom hardware and structure was fine, it seemed the 34+ year old deck support structure below the sunroom might be the issue. I called Jason to come check it out. (I was so happy with his work before and smart enough to get his business card. Jason came, and again was very polite, courteous, and focused on resolving our issue. When I told her it was for gutters she began asking me all the same information I had given them last week. When I asked her why they were asking for information I had already given she said they had no information listed. She then tried to blame it on "AI" telling me that the AI program doesn't give appointments so that what she was trying to do. When I explained to her that I spoke to a person and they gave me an appointment for Tuesday morning, she became rude and hung up. I took off Tuesday so that I would be here for their appointment. I guess they must think they're the only gutter installation in Westchester. Clown company. Would not recommend to anyone. Zero stars.

On the first day of the job, Pete and his crew arrived at our property very early in the morning before my wife and I were awake and proceeded to move everything that was in proximity to the house out into the yard to give a berth for falling debris. The issue was we had expressed wanting to do this ourselves and many of the plants that were moved were damaged by being left out in the direct summer sun. I spoke to Pete to confirm that our garden would be protected and in no danger of being damaged by debris, and he said they would take the necessary measures to ensure it would be. No more than 5 minutes later, shingles were being launched off the roof directly into the garden, smashing and lacerating everything in their path. At the end of the job, there were many nails around the property as one would expect. The magnet did not do a sufficient job of picking them up, and my wife and I picked up several hundred by hand even after Pete and his team had returned to do two more sweeps with the magnet. A nail in the driveway also punctured the tire on my truck. After the job was "finished," we discovered that our bay windows wouldn't open because the trim had been placed too low and blocked their clearance, so the team had to come out again to fix this. The dumpster also left sizeable gauges in our lawn, which they backfilled with inexpensive, gravely dirt. All in all, we felt All Type did not exhibit the minimal care and respect for our property that we would expect and were more concerned with getting the job done quickly and moving on to the next. The finished product itself looks nice, so I felt two stars more appropriate than one.
