10/10 definitely recommend! Bring 2 plus friends and order literally anything and you'll love it. Not sure what to order? Ask one of the knowledgeable servers for a rec. i highly recommend the sushi rolls omg soo good. Food was amazing. Nice chill vibe

Super cute restaurant. Valet parking at Two Urban Licks! Super tropical ambience with real greenery throughout. Very helpful staff! The food is good! The menu isn't kid friendly unless your kids eat sushi. Will definitely go back!

Took myself on a solo date to decompress from the work day. I decided to go to Bully Boy because I was craving some sushi and wanted something new. I made a reservation but ended up sitting at the bar upon my arrival. The music inside was a vibe and when I arrived it was busy but not packed. The bartender for the night was amazing and super helpful. Everything across the board was really good. I would order the duck spring rolls and chargrilled oysters again for sure. The highlight of my night was the Godzilla roll! I was stuck between ordering the Godzilla or the Spicy Yellowtail rolls. With the bartenders help I decided on the Godzilla and she did not steer me wrong! It was exactly what I needed. I'll be back to order the Yellowtail and try it out.

Highly recommend sharing plates with friends! The food here is excellent and the mezcal drink is superb. My faves were the brussel sprouts, the cocktail, and the assortment of sushi we tried. The volcano and yellowtail roll were top but honestly the firecracker and dragon were close 2nd. You can't go wrong with any. We also tried the beef gyoza and rock shrimp tempura. Those two were okay but more like standard not super notable. The service was quite fast and the ambience is nice. Very earthy feel, the music is the perfect volume & they had a great Playlist. PS the front door is facing the two urban locks valet, it's red.

Came in here last Friday for dinner. We made a reservation for 6pm. It wasn't too crowded when we got there, but it started filling up as the night went on. The inside of this restaurant is gorgeous! So many windows and lots of natural light. A great date night spot! I loved the tapas style menu they have. We go the duck spring rolls, the King Kong roll and the chicken fried rice. Everything was so good!

We ordered cocktails and they were reasonably priced.

This is an Atlanta hidden gem (literally). Located behind the belt line and Two Urban Licks, this industrial and cozy design Asian restaurant is a must try. Perfect for date nights or smaller groups, they crank out Japanese inflicted dishes tapas style. They have this amazing cocktail (Nigori Spritz) that I'd happily go back for. My favorite dishes of the night were the mussels, oysters from Virginia and their spicy yellowtail roll. Service was fantastic and everything that we ordered came out perfectly. We even got a cake to celebrate our engagement!! Please give this a shot and keep Bully Boy alive!! Parking: they have valet, but we didn't know where to pull up, so we parked at self parking and walked over. It was $4 for three hours and you pay via app or scanning the QT code provided.

Very cool inside. Great service and a nice restaurant. The sushi is amazing and super fresh. Great wine options as well.

I heard about this place through unintentional eavesdropping in on conversations that were being had in the Buckhead Business District. I should have know from that alone that it would be a three star experience. Let's start with the positives. This place is located a stones throw from the East Atlanta Beltline in what used to be a storage shed for the half dozen manufacturing operations that once existed in this part of town. The space is beautifully thought out and composed - serious kudos to their interior designer. The cocktail menu was carefully crafted yet simple. They did highlight subtle, Asian influenced flavors in their drinks and I give them credit for that. Food wise, I'd inhale four or five of their SPAM musubis if given a private room away from the what would be the horrified looks of fellow diners. As a certified SPAM slut I was impressed with what they did with the ingredient. The yellowfish roll was also fresh and perfectly seasoned. Now for the negatives. To me, it seemed like the only "fusion" that was occurring here is placing Whole Foods radish microgreens on every plate of Japanese food that comes out of the kitchen. I'm serious - look at the photos. It reached comical levels of biophilic absurdity - almost to the point where I had to stop and reflect deeply on all the poor vegetables that could have been. The tuna roll annihilated my palate with a level of saltiness that's akin to dropping a thermobaric bomb filled with the stuff directly on my tongue. I feel like I was forcefully transported back in time to the days of eating canned tuna in a middle school cafeteria lunchroom. Although back then, I didn't have to fork over $18. A real miss. If I come back, I'm sticking to the SPAM and those Rum #2s!

Nobody would have to bully this boy to come back here. We had a great experience here on a Friday night. After we got stuck in a little traffic, we called the restaurant to let them know we were running late for our reservation and they were more than happy to hold it for us. We're so glad they did! Service was prompt and great. We ordered three appetizers and all was just fantastic. Wings were thoroughly seasoned and the sauce to accompany was sweet and delicious. The sprouts (which I feel are served at every millennial-friendly restaurant these days) were perfect. The oysters were great and served wirh two mignonettes (garlic and pomegranate) and they went down easy. Get the spicy tuna avocado bomb. It's exactly what you expect and despite my deftness with chopsticks, I recommend getting at it with a fork and knife. Sashimi was fresh and cut thick to get our money's worth. The dragon roll used real crab which was a nice touch. Drink selection was great with an impressive wine list (much like sister restaurant two urban licks). This restaurant is styled in a very industrial manner without feeling cold. Love a big, open kitchen and the whole place smells like good food being prepared. Love paying my check by phone especially when pricing is fair. No doubt this is a pricier spot but I feel like we got a lot for the money. This place is a winner - 5/5 we'll be back.

One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta now! I had seen a video of the tuna avocado bomb on tik tok and immediately added this place to my restaurant bucket list. All of the food was so good, the fish was so fresh and the sauces added sweetness and spicyness. Bully boy serves fun dishes that have the ingredients of sushi, but serve it in different forms. So unique. Interior was very nice! Our waitress was great and moved us to the booth right when we asked. Will definitely be coming back here many times.

Bully Boy is a trendy Japanese-fusion concept offering a plethora of shareable plates. We had an enjoyable experience and ordered 13 dishes for a party of three. First, let me say their service was superb. We were very well taken care of, and they even offered us complementary dessert. Quality-wise it was a mixed bag; here are all the dishes we ate, in order of preference: * Charbroiled Naked Jade Oysters (A+): Exceptional. The yuzu siracha butter and avocado emulsion make all the difference * Hamachi Crudo (A): A real highlight. Refreshing! And the watermelon radish and grapefruit are a nice touch! * Bacon Belly Bites (A): Excellent. Extremely flavorful * Calamari Fries (A-): Innovative! * Corn Tempura Fritters (B+): Very good * Beef Gyoza (B+): Very creative. Covered in edamame, bell peppers, and chili sauce * Godzilla Roll (B): Nice but not special. Spicy Salmon, Cucumber, Salmon Aburi, Lemon, Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce, and Cilantro * Kalbi Ribs (B): Solid, but I've had much better * Veggie Spring Rolls (B-): Decent * Tuna Nigiri (B-): Did not meet expectations considering the high price point (18 bucks for 2 pieces) * Mochi Ice Cream (C+): Just OK * Yuzu Pepper Wings (C-): Pedestrian hence disappointing * Duck Spring Roll (D): Very bland Before tipping, we paid $258 for a 3-person meal (12 shareable dishes, 1 complementary dessert, only water, no alcohol). Overall, I'd give Bully Boy a solid B.

Very cute and intimate spot that's perfect for date night! Met a friend here for a quick meet up and we have a great time. We both got the mocktail number 1. It was beautifully presented but a tad sweet so if you order it be prepared for that. To eat I got the king kong roll- Salmon,Yellowtail, Spicy Tuna, Avocado, Eel Sauce, Spicy Mayo- and it was absolutely delicious. I would order this 10000x over. I did have a little trouble finding them but they are located right in front of Two Urban Licks. We did go right at opening so it was pretty empty but the staff was very kind and provided wonderful recommendations which both my friend and I loved!

I love the name. A friend wanted to try them because they are affiliated with Two Urban Licks I ordered the whole fish which was covered in peppers and pineapple. I love peppers and pineapple but the fish itself was not seasoned. If it wasn't for the peppers and pineapples. I wouldn't have enjoyed the fish. We also order the salmon. I was disappointed with the flavor or lack there of. It was super hot and flies were everywhere, We also ordered the chicken fried rice, which was ok. The food was hard to enjoy with the flies landing on our food every chance they got plus it not being seasoned. Our waitress was nice. I probably wont return.

I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! First, I tried to see the menu online but quickly found there are a lot of menus and they change, so you can't really know what they're serving. They had just five entrees to pick from, and none were very appetizing. Each was over-engineered, too. They were good about asking about allergies, but if you're traveling and careful about introducing new things to your diet, maybe this place isn't for you. They do have a steak. At $200, it's made for the entire table. You can't just get a steak, even though they clearly have steak. Frankly, a lot of the menu was just gross. Sweetbreads, steak tartare, veal. We picked a chicken plate with potatoes. The potatoes were fine. The chicken was very dry. I asked for iced tea. "We don't serve tea products" was the response. WTF? And while the cocktail and wine choices seemed numerous, the beer was extremely limited. We just stuck with water. Then there was the service. The staff were polite and prompt, but some of the habits were just deeply weird. They kept coming by and folding our napkins. Like, you get up, use the bathroom (an unmarked door adjacent to the kitchen), come back, and somebody has picked up your napkin, the one you've been touching your face with, folded it with their bare hands, and left it there. Look, servers roll silverware and I'm no germophobe, but we really don't need more people touching my napkin throughout the meal, do we? This carried over to other staff who would randomly stop by to clear plates and wipe the table down while we all had to stop talking, watch them replace perfectly clean silverware with new perfectly clean silverware, and then leave. Always with new people. None of this makes it a bad restaurant. It's probably exactly what some people are looking for. It just isn't for me.

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

Italian Steakhouse Says It All - The Best of All Worlds…read more Walked into IL Premio on a Monday night and was told there was an hour wait for a table, so I headed to the bar- fortunately, a seat was open. I started with one of my favorite Reposados by Herradura. For my Crudi, I ordered the Ricciola alla Puttanesca, what i thought was going to be a classic Italian seafood dish that traditionally features ricciola (Italian amberjack) in puttanesca sauce. The menu noted it was made with yellowtail, which piqued my curiosity. I expected the ricciola to be pan-seared or lightly grilled and finished with the sauce, or served with the sauce spooned over the top. To my surprise, the dish arrived as thinly sliced raw yellowtail, presented sashimi/crudo-style. Each slice was topped with a small amount of sauce infused with capers, Taggiasca olives, Calabrese chiles, and possibly sun-dried tomatoes, all classic puttanesca ingredients. Microgreens completed the presentation. This could be described as a "ricciola crudo with puttanesca-style garnish" rather than a traditional cooked ricciola alla puttanesca. Essentially, the chef uses the puttanesca flavor profile (capers, olives, chiles, tomato, oil) as a raw topping instead of cooking the fish in the sauce. While it's raw, it's a modern, crudo-style interpretation inspired by puttanesca flavors and I'm a fan. I'll order it again and again. For my Secondi, I had the Risotto ai Funghi, a classic Italian dish featuring creamy arborio rice with shiitake and hen-of-the-woods (maitake) mushrooms and a hint of lemon. Served piping hot, it was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed another Reposado by Herradura. IL Premio is so much more than a steakhouse. The food is thoughtfully prepared, the atmosphere is refined, service by Janlan was excellent and it is a fitting restaurant for an outstanding hotel property.

We arrived 30 minutes before they opened on a Friday and there were already people waiting in the lot which was crazy! It started raining while we were waiting in line and the line got even longer. If you're planning to try The Local, I would recommend coming on a regular weekday or come earlier if you're coming on the weekend because the line is crazy. There is some seating inside and outside the bar. We got there early enough to swipe a table. There were people standing and waiting for a table while waiting for their orders. Service was excellent! Tables are first come first serve. Plenty of parking in the back parking lot. I wouldn't wait in the rain for this but it was definitely worth a try!

I was recommended The Local for great chicken wings in Atlanta, but I never expected how popular…read moreand crowded it was. We arrived there exactly at 5 PM, when it opens, but there was already a pretty extensive line. A little outside the entrance, they check your ID, which I had no idea was a thing. So make sure you have your IDs with you and are 21+. There's a bar area for drinks and a separate counter where you will order and pay for your food. (They make it pretty explicit that you can't get wings to-go.) Find a seat, and once your food is ready, they'll announce your name, and you pick up your food from the window. FOOD: We got wings in the flavors of lemon pepper (dry rub), sun-dried tomato (dry rub), buffalo lemon pepper (wet), and jerk buffalo (wet). I will say that I definitely preferred the wet wings to the dry wings. I found the dry wings to be a little too salty. In my opinion, the wings and the cook on them were just okay. I wasn't blown away or anything. Maybe the relatively cheap beer and the vibes help draw in all the appeal. TLDR// I don't think I had the greatest wings of all time here, but the vibes were really casual and pleasant. I'm glad I was able to try a place so beloved by locals.
