We have had Bulwark for many years. Stopped for a bit (not sure why). I think I forgot to set up auto payments LOL.... Anyway, just got back on their service plan. Called them back for a re-treatment due to a scorpion (icky) and they can the next day. Ask for Andre, he was super nice and very professional. He treated the inside of our garage and some treatment inside the house since we had not had that in awhile. Also, re-treated the outside for an extra barrier. I was quoted one price that I accepted. Then I was sent a contract on which I had to pay monthly for quarterly service, which with my previous pest control company I didn't have to agree to. When I told them that, they upped the price for a single treatment from $122 to $144-$195. I cancelled as I don't like bait & switch deals. read more

This review is specifically for Justin McC. Justin is the 4th technician who has been at my place for a service, and he has definitely been the most thorough. Justin asks a lot of questions and shares a lot of information so I know what is being done, as well as what next steps should be taken (in case I get a different tech next time). Justin went through and treat the entire apartment (not only where the roaches are prevalent), and he also took the time to remove the faceplates from the outlets and treat INSIDE the walls (where the roaches are living and breeding). Update (1 month later): Bulwark eventually reached out and resolved it. They took my bill back from collections. Previous Review: I had Bulwark Pest Control Service for a year. I signed up for their quarterly service with free intermediate services. They systematically charge days and months before the payment is due so that a person ends up giving extra payments in a year or so. I have been calling them and telling them about their flaw in payment system, but they keep forwarding me to each of their managers. I have attached a picture of an year of payments dates and services. See how they did a quarterly service in December and charged in December, although this was due in January. See how it resulted in extra payment in June! I am somehow supposed to pay them 5 times in a year, even though I signed up for quarterly service. read more

This company wanted to tell me what they recommended I needed over the phone without doing an actual inspection. After expecting an inspection, they sent a rep over who needed me to sign up for a three month service before he could enter my home. He called his service desk and the person says they don't do work until I confirm service agreement. I told them I don't actually know what type of service I need at this point and asked if they had a fee for just an inspection. I wanted to know what kind of service I needed and get recommendations and pricing options and she said they didn't do that. That makes no sense at all. Just got hit with a $175 bill for someone that came in with a handle held spray container (like the same bottles you use for cleaning) - sprayed a few places. I was quoted once before for 100 - and had a much better service, but was upcharged then (without asking me) - and for this second service I was way overcharged for 175. They didn't do anything! I've been trying to get Bulwark to come do a pest control treatment for the last week-and-a-half now and while they sent me their contract to sign, they keep needing to reschedule because the assigned day becomes mysteriously "unavailable" after we confirm. Today was the last straw, I confirmed with them via text, Yelp message, and an email, and they still NEVER showed up. If you need a reliable pest control company, seek elsewhere, because Bulwark isn't it. They can't follow instructions and are unreliable. read more

Excellent customer service! I called in for a spot treatment on some pesky fire ants and it just so happened that we were being treated for mosquitoes that same day. (If you don't have mosquito service, you should get it! It's amazing!!) Nina, in customer service, was able to add the additional treatment to our service order right away. Unfortunately, this company does value their customers. I was "serviced" the day that I was home last week and they never showed up to spray outside or inside. They claim they did by showing a photo of another persons house. The customer service representative wouldn't even consider this as we called to complain and requested that they come back out. This was never a consideration. After 12 years with the company, sadly this was our first major issue with them and they failed. I was using Massey for years and they stopped coming on time, and stopped showing up for warranty service. I fired them and gave Bulwark a call. The salesman was knowledgeable and they worked their schedule to get out right away (on Saturday!). Our tech, Joshua, was friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job. They are about $50 more a quarter than Massey, but will be worth it if they show up on time. So far I am very happy with them! read more

I reached to Bulwark because of a flea infestation, their customer service over the phone was great. They came to service my home and the person who came was also very good in customer service and the other people that came after every 2 months for spraying did a great job. The reason for my 3 stars is because when I called, they told me I had to commit to them for 1 year because if I didn't, they would not be able to service my home, I was pissed off about it however, since this was the third place i called where they told me the same thing, having this infestation and me being new to the USA I thought it was normal and I cave in. Well, a year passed and I called to cancel my service, ready for a throw down with the supervisor thinking if they where pushy before, they will be the same. Luckily, it wasn't the case but, the supervisor did tell me that wasn't what Bulwark does, being that I have worked in call centers, if this was the case, they wouldn't have agents pushing the year commitment with some instruction or maybe a reward. In conclusion, I was happy with their customer service and pricing but the fact that they pushed a year commitment with lies makes me not want to hire them ever again, I might have signed a service agreement but I did it under misinformation provided by their agents. read more

I've been using Bukwark for a few years, but this was the first time that Isaiah serviced my house. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Isaiah also went above and beyond! He put some powder in my outlets to help with the spiders. When he removed the last outlet cover we discovered what looked like something from an old ant pile. He was kind enough to get all of it out. He also recommended some things that I could do to help keep out pest! Their products work well and I like the fact they treat my property on a reoccurring schedule without me having to call an make an appointment each time. When I called to scheduled the appointment, the guy educated me about extermination and the process they would do when they came out to my home. A few days later a tech came out... legit sprayed what seemed like a type of Raid around the doors inside and wipes and sprayed outside. It didn't do much to my spider situation. I called them back for a follow up spray and a different tech came. He was surprised they did not lay out traps in the garage. Also, he sprayed all windows and restroom areas. This helped for about a week. I finally just bought supplies from the store to tackle my pest problem Update: after my previous review, the company reached out to send a tech to spray again. After a stray dog came onto my property, I began experiencing problems with fleas in both my front and back lawn. I had never had a problem with pests and the thought of treatments was overwhelming. After calling Bullwark and having the home treated, I noticed I continued to have problem (it is recommended to treat every week to two weeks due to the flea's egg/larvae cycle). Bullwark gives a 60 day guarantee with free treatments in between if you continue to experience pest problems after the initial treatment (peace of mind an convenient). I had moved out of the home and called for a follow-up treatment and, after prepping the house (extremely important) I was helped my Ahmad at Bullwark who was so extremely knowledgeable about the flea cycle and gave me tips on how to maintain them at bay and away from the inside of my home. Although he was running behind (large volume of contract work), he arrived w it h a smile on his face and a very patient and knowledgeable attitude. Just terrible the guy that comes out is super lazy, we have to ask him to spray certain areas because he does the bare minimum. We've been in our new home for almost 4 months and outside our home is infested with spiders and bugs. We literally can't go on our patio it's so bad.
