Bumper Burgers surprised to see this vender in a parking lot but when I drove by there was a huge line of people ordering. Its a one man operation so I wasn't sure if I wanted to wait, but he was able to quickly take care of everyone and the wait was worth it. Great burgers and reasonable prices. I went to Bumper Burger today and it was really, really good. I got the People Meal, add Pimento Cheese to the burger. That's a 50/50 Burger + Pimento Cheese, Fries, Fry Sauce, Koolaid, and a Brownie. The burger was huge and damn tasty, but simple. I would have loved to see a burger like this be a little crisper, get to that smash style. The Pimento cheese is a fantastic addition, and I recommend it to anyone ordering. Everything else about the burger is in the classic backyard grilling tradition - big lettuce, onions, tomato, sweet pickles, condiments. The fries were well salted, and the fry sauce paired well. I'm not gonna speak much to the koolaid, but it continues in the theme of that old school burger place. The brownie is solid as well. All this for $11.50 is a hell of a good deal. There's enough food here for two if everyone's just moderately hungry. Bottom line. There are better burgers around in my opinion. But they will set you back like $17. Saw this truck and decided to give it a try when we were craving burgers. Wow! Here is the rundown of our order: 50/50 burger with pimento cheese - I don't often splurge on a double patty burger but I thought I should try it and wow! Great toppings. Awesome cook and flavor on the patties. Vegi-Burger with pimento cheese - my wife got this and let me try some. A falafel patty instead of beef. All the great toppings and with the pimento cheese spread it was one of those take a bite and say: "Oh yeah" burgers. Fries - shoestring style....made fresh...tasty! Actually tastes like potato and great with the fry sauce. Brownies - no nuts (the way I prefer them). Soft and fudgy. Pimento cheese - an option on the burgers costs a little extra but worth it. We got it on both burgers. A cheesy spread that had a nice sharp and tangy taste like the inside of a really good Jalapeño popper. Kool Aid - yep...they serve Kool aid and the flavor changes daily. The gentlemen running the place was super nice and answered all our questions. Seriously if you feel like a good burger and fries this place is worth a trip. read more

Um, yum! This food cart is in a very odd location (in the parking lot of a nursery off Baseline!) but don't let that stop you! We came here on a rainy day around 2 PM and we weren't the only ones, so they clearly have a following. The wait was a little longer than we expected but I think it's just a testament to the fact that they make a lot of things from scratch. The burgers are fresh and tasty and the fries are really good! The Kool Aid with pour your own dispensers on the front of the cart is a nice touch haha. And you can't beat the price. $4 for a really good basic burger? And $2 for fries? You CAN'T beat that.
